Greece: I am Zeus!

Chapter 237 Let's give people some talent!

Chapter 237 Let's give people some talent!

However, Prometheus didn't have much time to think about it.

He reached out his great hand to all the remaining source matter of creation and grasped it in his hand.

Immediately, He forcefully scattered this mass of primordial energy into the sky!

The primordial energy in the air transformed into millions of points of light, which then scattered across the earth.

Each point of light, upon landing, transforms into one "person" after another!
A new race was born!
The dominant race in the mortal world—humanity—was born!
At that very moment, within the order of Heaven, on the supreme thread of destiny, an unprecedentedly dazzling light illuminated the pure and flawless thread, dividing it into two distinct sections.

Before this, the threads of fate were either pure white or jet black; but after this, the threads of destiny were adorned with a dazzling array of colors, with black and white intertwined and red and yellow blending together; ultimately, they presented a myriad of vibrant colors!

As Themis, the goddess of divine justice, watched the changes in the threads of fate, a smile of satisfaction appeared on her flawless and holy face.

And the three goddesses who hold the reins of all destiny, with their delicate white hands, gently brushed across the new threads that weave the fate of all living beings.

Their faces also revealed a hint of expectant joy.

'The universe has finally begun a brand new era of intelligence!'

Metis, the goddess of wisdom, silently watched over the tiny, scattered humans on the earth.

Even she doesn't know what this new intelligent race, endowed with so many traits, will look like in the future.

However, she knew that the two brothers, Prometheus and Prometheus, had given far too much to this newborn race.

This new race is destined to be the most complex race in the universe.

Metis said slowly, "Prometheus, you have achieved your goal. You have also completed His Majesty the King of Gods' task."

As she said this, she glanced at the newborn humans out of the corner of her eye.

These newborn humans were all naked, their eyes filled with confusion and ignorance.

When faced with this world, which was still vast and unfamiliar to them, their hearts were filled with fear and apprehension.

At this moment, facing three colossal deities as immense as heaven and earth, they could only rely on their most primal instincts, prostrating themselves on the ground, trembling in fear.

Among the crawling crowd, there were also a few daring individuals.

Their bewildered and frightened eyes also revealed an irrepressible curiosity.

They cautiously, yet with unparalleled boldness, secretly spied upon the colossal god, but with their eyesight, they could not see its full form, not even a glimpse of its true appearance.

Looking at these races, whose physical forms were already quite similar to those of normal "divine beings," and who could be considered her "children," Metis couldn't help but feel a surge of pity and compassion.

She sighed softly and said, "Prometheus, this new race is the result of your efforts, brothers. They are complete only when they depend on each other, so let us call them 'humans'."

"These newborn children have not yet acquired true wisdom. They are unable to survive in this vast world."

"Now it is up to you to impart to them the wisdom that will be sufficient for survival."

"After humanity has settled down and lived in peace on this land, then return to Olympus and report back to His Majesty."

Prometheus was greatly relieved upon hearing this, and was extremely grateful.

He was also deeply grateful that the goddess of wisdom was a truly kind and loving goddess.

"Great and merciful goddess of wisdom, thank you for your care for mankind! I will certainly educate them well, so that they will always remember your mercy and kindness!"

Metis said calmly, “Prometheus, son of Iapetus, remember this. All of this is due to His Majesty’s magnanimity and His benevolent and loving heart.”

“The wisdom needed to survive is certainly very important in educating these newborn children.”

"But equally important, even more important, is to make them abide by His Majesty the God-King's sacred and just order! It is to make them abide by His Majesty's most sublime and sacred virtues!"

"Prometheus, remember my words well, and resolutely uphold His Majesty's order and glory!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the majestic and wise divine body that stood between heaven and earth vanished without a trace.

The goddess of wisdom has returned to Olympus.

Klaunia, who had been quietly watching all of this, was already utterly shocked.

Prometheus's actions terrified her, even made her feel incredulous.

She didn't understand why the goddess of wisdom didn't punish Prometheus for his transgression, and instead bestowed upon this mortal what could be called the most supreme gift.

But she could sense something was amiss. And she had no right to comment on what was happening.

But now that the dust had settled and Metis had returned to Olympus, she didn't delay any longer.

He immediately transformed back into his original form, spread his wings and flew high, returning to Olympus at top speed to report everything to His Majesty the King of Gods.

Whether I know the inside story or not is unimportant; my absolute loyalty is what matters! Just do what I'm supposed to do!
She didn't even greet the two Prometheus brothers.

She had made up her mind to stay away from Prometheus, that audacious god. They, the sons of Iapetus, were all too outrageous!

After Metis and Claunia had both left, Prometheus let out a silent and heavy sigh.

The "circle" that hung between the two brothers, binding them closely together, began to dissipate rapidly after this great feat was accomplished.

That brief, unified whole quickly separated once again, becoming the independent "foresight" and "hindsight" once more.

The son of Iapetus shed his magnificent divine body and returned to his normal divine form.

Their size was not much different from that of the people on the earth.

Only the faint glow emanating from their divine bodies, their flawless, perfect, and healthy physiques, and their extraordinary and majestic presence revealed that they were not ordinary spirits.

The world is incredibly vast.

At that time, there were only a little over a million humans.

Even though they are all gathered together now, compared to the boundless world, they are still so small that they can be almost ignored.

The divine bodies of the three great gods had all disappeared, and the magnificent phenomenon had vanished without a trace.

The two gods stood between humanity.

But those who remained prostrate still dared not get up.

Their instincts told them that what still stood there was a great being they could not comprehend and who could decide everything for them.

Only a few bold individuals dared to raise their pure yet innocent eyes, filled with curiosity and fear, to look at them.

Epimetheus looked at his brother, who was deep in thought with furrowed brows, and then at these newborn, weak humans.

He pondered for a moment, blinked his eyes which seemed to gleam with wisdom, and said softly, "Prometheus, my brother, although 'man' possesses the wisdom to grow freely, they are still far too weak."

“Look, they can neither soar through the sky like eagles nor run as fast as cheetahs.”

"They do not have hard scales, nor can they change color to disguise themselves like chameleons. In terms of courage and ferocity, they are far inferior to lions."

"How can such a fragile person become the ruler of all the mortals on this earth?"

"Relying solely on their shallow spirituality and wisdom, and their incredibly short lives, even if they can continuously grow, how powerful can they ultimately become?"

"I think it would be better if I bestowed some powerful talents upon them!"

"I'll give them wings, some scales, and I can even give them some fur, and some claws! Color-changing isn't out of the question either, and I'll add some sharp teeth!"

"They embody the best qualities of all the powerful creatures on earth!"

"In this way, they can easily rule over all living things on earth."

Prometheus stared speechlessly at his brother, so angry he almost choked and couldn't utter a word.

His lips moved as if he wanted to speak but hesitated, opening and closing his mouth several times.

Finally, it all turned into a sigh filled with helplessness: "You hopeless idiot, please, stop showing off your pathetic little bit of wisdom!"

"Remember this! 'Balance' and 'continuous circulation' are the only path to true long-term development! They are the only truth that can truly ensure the health and prosperity of the universe!"

"Just because 'humans' are to become the masters of mortal spirits, does that mean we can disregard the sacred 'balance'?"

"They have already possessed 'wisdom' that can grow freely, which is already the greatest gift bestowed by His Majesty the God-King and the Goddess of Wisdom! There is none other! Because it represents infinite possibilities!"

"Furthermore, the human form was created according to the gods! It is already perfect! They have hands and wisdom! Don't even think about messing around!"

After Prometheus had given his foolish brother a severe scolding, he took a few heavy breaths before continuing, "And don't you feel it? We no longer have the authority to create at will and bestow talents upon living beings at will."

"His Majesty the God-King has revoked His authority. Our mission was completed the moment 'humanity' was created."
