I just realized that the anime changed the anaconda's species. In the original work, the anaconda is a magical beast, but in the anime, it's clearly a demon!
It's possible the anime also features monsters, but it explains why their race can take human form, which I overlooked? (Normally, in both anime and the original work, monsters of high level cannot take human form, and very few can speak.)
But I decided to use this setting, and I've decided that the anaconda race is a demon race.
