Chapter 201 Chat Alone
Su Miaoyi and Ge Yu sat down.

Cheng Jue sat down next to them, and his second aunt also sat down next to the man.

"Hello, my name is Kang Hong, and I am thirty-eight years old." As Kang Hong spoke, he suddenly raised his left hand.

It startled the four people on the other side.

Cheng Jue sat on the armrest of the sofa and subconsciously leaned back, thinking that he was about to punch him.

Then the four of them looked at the watch on his wrist.

Cheng Jue clicked his tongue.

Neither Cheng Yong nor Ge Yu understood it.

Su Miaoyi glanced at his watch: "This must cost over 300,000, right?"

Kang Hong nodded.

My second aunt immediately laughed: "My son earns a lot, this little bit of money is nothing to him, there are still several yuan left at home."

Cheng Jue rolled his eyes.

Cheng Yong picked up his tea and took a sip: "You're living such a good life while your parents are eating coarse food."

No one spoke, so my second aunt quickly said, "Oh, that's all in the past. Our lives are much better now."

Cheng Yong stopped talking.

“Son, introduce yourself again,” said Auntie.

“I attended university in Beijing. After graduation, I started a company with my classmates and made some money,” Kang Hong said.

"Didn't your second aunt say you got a job at a big company and make over 20,000 a month?" Su Miaoyi asked.

“Twenty thousand is still a lot of money; that’s our company’s monthly revenue.” Kang Hong held up one finger.

"One yuan?" Cheng Jue teased.

Su Miaoyi smiled and patted his arm.

Cheng Jue smiled faintly.

"I heard from my second aunt that you have a lot of suitors, so why aren't you married yet?" Su Miaoyi asked, observing his expression, eyes, lips, and teeth.

"I got annoyed by all the people pursuing me, so I stopped looking," Kang Hong said.

Su Miaoyi nodded.

"And you? What are your conditions?" Kang Hong asked.

"Me?" Su Miaoyi looked at him, thought for a moment, and said, "How about we talk alone?"

"Okay, okay," Auntie Er immediately agreed.

Cheng Yong and Ge Yu both looked at Su Miaoyi.

Su Miaoyi reassured them.

Second Aunt got up and pulled Ge Yu: "Come on, come on, if the child wants to talk alone, let's go to the balcony and take a look."

“Cheng Jue, you stay,” Su Miaoyi said.

“I never intended to leave.” Cheng Jue didn’t move.

The elders went to the balcony near the master bedroom, and Su Miaoyi looked at Kang Hong: "My job is quite flexible, I don't have to go to work every day."

"And what about the salary?" Kang Hong asked.

"Enough to spend," Su Miaoyi said.

Kang Hong nodded: "Freelancing is good, you don't have to go to work every day. If we have children in the future, we can stay home and take care of them."

"Who will look after the child?" Cheng Jue frowned.

Kang Hong smiled and said, "Of course, a nanny takes care of the child."

That's a very unpleasant thing to say.

Before Cheng Jue could say anything more, Su Miaoyi said, "This watch is very beautiful, may I take a look?"

“Of course.” Kang Hong reached out his hand.

Su Miaoyi held his wrist, looked at the watch on his wrist, and after a while, rolled up his shirt sleeve.

Kang Hong was wearing a white casual shirt, the sleeves rolled up. Cheng Jue watched her sister's actions.

Kang Hong immediately pulled his hand back and pulled down his shirt: "What are you doing?"

"Sorry, my hand slipped." Su Miaoyi said, picking up her phone and sending a message.

Then she started chatting: "What are your requirements for a partner?"

“I don’t have any specific requirements, it’s mainly about chemistry,” Kang Hong said, looking at her. “But it would be even better if she could cook. My parents raised me with great difficulty, and I hope my future wife can be filial to them. If she can cook, my mother won’t have to work so hard to cook for me every day.”

"So you make your wife work so hard cooking for you?" Cheng Jue asked.

"Isn't it a given that we should respect our parents?" Kang Hong found his question hilarious.

"You cook for your parents, huh? What? You can't take care of your parents if you don't get married?" Cheng Jue's voice grew colder and colder. "Your parents worked hard to raise you, but they didn't raise your wife. Are you going to get married or hire a housekeeper? Besides, aren't you very rich? Don't you have a lot of income every month? What? You can't afford to hire a housekeeper for your parents?"

Kang Hong looked at him and said, "Shouldn't husbands and wives support each other?"

“Sure, your wife can cook for your parents at home, and you can come to your mother-in-law’s house and cook for your parents-in-law. That’s fair,” Cheng Jue said.

“Why should I cook here? She married into my family, so she’s one of us now. It’s her duty to cook for my parents.” Kang Hong raised his voice.

Cheng Jue chuckled and looked at Su Miaoyi: "Sister, did you hear that?"

Su Miaoyi nodded.

“From now on, you should marry a man. Once you marry him, he will belong to our family. He can stay home, cook, do laundry, and take care of our parents,” Cheng Jue said. “That way, we, the two of us, and our parents will all have an easier time.”

Su Miaoyi smiled and nodded: "Okay. Good idea."

"What a joke! What kind of family do you think you are? Do you know what kind of families other people have that allow their sons-in-law to marry into their families?" Kang Hong thought the siblings were crazy.

Cheng Jue thought for a moment, then asked, "There's something I'd like to ask you. How much dowry are you planning to give when you get married?"

"Your family still wants a bride price?" Kang Hong frowned.

“Yes, why does your family still need a bride price?” Auntie suddenly rushed out of the bedroom.

Su Miaoyi and Cheng Jue looked at her and said, "Oh, your family doesn't plan to give a bride price."

"How much dowry do you plan to give?" Auntie asked Ge Yu.

Cheng Yong said, "Of course we are prepared. As for how much, why should I tell you?"

Cheng Jue smiled and said, "Sister, our family is generous. When you get married, we'll give you more."

“A family like yours can only afford a few hundred thousand yuan at most. How much can you give?” Kang Hong snorted. “You think you can get a man to marry into your family for a few hundred thousand yuan? You’re dreaming.”

“You still think this is too little? If your family doesn’t want to contribute a single penny to your wife’s wedding, wouldn’t that be shameful?” Cheng Jue said.

“You!” Kang Hong suddenly stood up.

At this moment, there was a knock on the door.

dong dong dong.

Everyone looked towards the doorway.

Cheng Jue got up to open the door.

As soon as the door opened, there were police officers everywhere outside.

Cheng Jue was stunned for a moment.

"Police." The police officer showed his badge. "Someone called the police saying that someone here is using drugs."

The neighbors all craned their necks to look over.

Cheng Jue subconsciously turned to look at Su Miaoyi.

Just as he turned his head, Kang Hong suddenly lunged at Su Miaoyi.

"Miaomiao!" Ge Yu cried out in fright.

Cheng Yong and Cheng Jue immediately ran forward, and the police at the door quickly entered.

But none of them were as fast as Su Miaoyi. When Kang Hong lunged at her, she dodged to the side and then pinned him down on the sofa.

Kang Hong struggled, and Su Miaoyi exerted even more force, saying to the police officer next to her, "I suspect he's using drugs. He has injection marks on his arm and smells of drugs on his body."

 Goodnight everybody
