Chapter 93 How did you harass me at the bar that day?
Huo Jingcheng stared at Su Ruoyun's rapidly changing expression and immediately understood what she was thinking. Ignoring the pain on his face, he opened his mouth and lightly bit Su Ruoyun's lower lip, not with much force, but more like flirting.

Suddenly, a slight pain struck, and Su Ruoyun subconsciously increased the pressure on his hand. In an instant, clear finger marks appeared on his handsome face: "Get off me."

"Let go first."

"Why should I?!" Su Ruoyun raised her chin and glared back at him defiantly.

Left with no other choice, Huo Jingcheng had to leave and stop pressing down on Su Ruoyun.

Seeing his reaction, she gave a soft hum, slowly loosened her grip, the pressure gradually dissipated, and withdrew her hand.

The two then sat down at opposite ends of the sofa in a serious manner.

Su Ruoyun's gaze inadvertently fell on the cigarette butt on the carpet, which Huo Jingcheng had casually dropped. She stretched her legs forward, lifted her toes slightly, and used the sole of her slipper to extinguish the still-smoldering cigarette butt.

"Remember now? How you harassed me at the bar that day?" A deep male voice echoed in the quiet space.

Upon hearing this, Su Ruoyun's movements seemed to be paused, her long legs frozen in place, and the air seemed to solidify.

She took a deep breath, slowly turned around, and her gaze met his eyes.

Huo Jingcheng: "To be honest, didn't you provoke me yourself? You even said you'd take care of me..."

These words were like a pebble thrown into the lake of her heart, stirring up ripples that lingered on. A guilty conscience quickly flashed across her eyes.

Su Ruoyun forced herself to remain calm, hurriedly averting her gaze. She cleared her throat and lightly scolded, "What did you remember? What nonsense are you spouting? I don't remember. Don't talk nonsense and ruin my reputation."

Huo Jingcheng, after being denied by her, let out a noncommittal chuckle, tinged with sarcasm and amusement.

He leaned forward again, his huge shadow enveloping Su Ruoyun. He lowered his body slightly, and with a swift and decisive movement, he grabbed the back of her head, his action carrying an irresistible force. Then, he pressed down on her again.

His sensual thin lips pressed against her lips.

Without the slightest hesitation, Su Ruoyun opened her mouth and bit his lower lip hard. Her sharp teeth seemed to be filled with anger, as if she wanted to bite off a piece of flesh, and instantly bit through his thin lip.

Immediately, a strong smell of blood filled their mouths, which were pressed together, and a sweet, fishy smell spread freely in the ambiguous atmosphere.

"Get out of here, you shameless, perverted bastard!"

Su Ruoyun suddenly raised her hand and pushed Huo Jingcheng away. Then, she vigorously wiped her lips with the back of her hand to remove the bloodstains, leaving a winding trail on the back of her hand.

In the end, Huo Jingcheng was dragged and pulled out by her.

Before closing the door, Su Ruoyun gritted her teeth and said, word by word, "Don't let me see you again."

"..." Huo Jingcheng.

The next day, under a clear blue sky, Su Ruoyun returned to the capital.

She woke up at 9:30 in the morning, slipped on her slippers, and lazily strolled out of the bedroom. The first thing she saw was a mess on the floor. The events of last night flashed through her mind like a revolving lantern, and she immediately felt a headache coming on.

He raised his palm, patted his forehead, and let out a deep sigh of relief.

After washing up, she ate breakfast at a leisurely pace. When checking out, Su Ruoyun told the front desk staff about the condition of the room in detail and paid for the market price of the two cushions and the room cleaning fee.

She took a taxi to the airport because she had woken up too early in the morning and gone to bed too late the night before, and she had planned to take a nap on the plane.

But who would have thought...

Stepping into first class, she walked towards her seat number. When her gaze fell upon the person in the seat next to her, her mood instantly soured. Six first-class seats—what a coincidence, and of all things, she had to run into him. The harsh words he'd uttered last night were still fresh in her mind.

Huo Jingcheng crossed his legs, closed his eyes and pretended to sleep. To his left sat his assistant, Lin Cheng.

Lin Cheng was the first to see her, and with a perfectly timed smile, he politely greeted her, "Miss Su."

When someone called her out, Su Ruoyun stopped pretending to be deaf and dumb, twitched the corners of her mouth, and nodded to him.

As she sat down, the hem of her skirt inadvertently brushed against the hem of her suit trousers, causing Huo Jingcheng to open his eyes and glance at the spot where they touched, before subtly lifting his eyelids to look at Su Ruoyun.

Unfortunately, Su Ruoyun turned around to fasten her seatbelt and missed the scene.

The return trip was the same as the outward journey, a flight of just over two hours.

As planned, Su Ruoyun unfolded the soft blanket, shook off the wrinkles, covered herself with it, and then peacefully closed her eyes and gradually fell asleep.

In a hazy, half-asleep state, a layer of warmth covered the back of my hand.

She slightly opened her eyes, revealing a narrow slit. She saw the man's large hand resting on her arm beside her. Su Ruoyun frowned, impatiently shaking off the hand, and moved her own hand to the side before closing her eyes again.

Half a minute later, the heat returned.

Back and forth, repeating this three or five times, that large, well-defined hand seemed to have a GPS system, precisely locating Su Ruoyun's hand, able to touch it no matter where she placed it.

After several attempts, she finally lost her temper, helplessly gave up the fight, and had no choice but to give up.

When we landed in Beijing, it was already 2:30 pm.

Su Ruoyun pulled her suitcase and walked to the parking garage. Out of curiosity about what happened last night, Li Li offered to pick her up. His pink McLaren was eye-catching and could be seen at a glance.

She opened the car door, got in, and as she fastened her seatbelt, Li Li deliberately cleared his throat and asked gossipily, "Last night..."

"No confession, no boyfriend, nothing." Su Ruoyun was so calm, it was hard to believe she had just survived a world war.

Li Li was somewhat disappointed, leaned back in his seat dejectedly, and put his hands on the steering wheel. "Fine."

……

The McLaren was parked in the apartment's underground garage, and Li Li followed Su Ruoyun upstairs.

Su Ruoyun changed out of her high heels and shuffled to the kitchen in her slippers to get water for Li Li.

Li Li sat down on the sofa without any hesitation. When 'Panda' heard the noise, it crawled out of its den and walked over step by step with its short legs.

It intended to follow in Su Ruojun's footsteps to the kitchen, but unexpectedly, it was intercepted by Li Li halfway there.

Li Li reached out and pulled the kitten into his arms, stroking its back; the touch was so comfortable.

Meanwhile, Su Ruoyun took two bottles of purified water and two glasses from the refrigerator.

When it was placed on the coffee table in the living room, Li Li glanced at it casually and keenly noticed that something was wrong.
