Su Ruoyun followed Aunt Li's gaze and stared at the pair of disposable slippers that Huo Jingcheng had left behind, which she had forgotten to dispose of. She was momentarily stunned, her brain racing as she thought about how to deal with it.

The size 44 shoes were clearly men's shoes, and she quickly came up with a solution: "My brother came over last night."

“West Lake Longjing tea,” Li Wenye said.

Upon hearing this, Su Ruoyun, who was sitting opposite him, blinked slightly and tugged at the corner of her mouth. "Alright, then I'll have someone come in and make you some tea."

She pressed the service bell, and a waiter came in. Su Ruoyun gave a couple of instructions, and a few minutes later, a tea master from the teahouse entered with a tray.

The tea ceremony, including tea-related entertainment, took more than half an hour.

After the tea server left the private room, Li Wenye held the Jianzhan teacup in his hand, his gaze lowered, staring at the pattern inside for a few seconds before suddenly asking, "Are you with him?"

Upon hearing this, Su Ruoyun was taken aback.

Although Li Wenye did not specify who "he" was, both of them knew perfectly well that he was referring to Huo Jingcheng.

Su Ruoyun hesitated, not answering immediately. After all, she had just made an agreement with Huo Jingcheng not to reveal their relationship, and she couldn't possibly expose it without her consent.

Su Ruoyun lowered her eyes, staring at the emerald green tea leaves floating and swirling in the glass. She raised her hand and moved her wrist, causing the tea leaves in the glass to float and move as well.

She didn't want to betray her friend, and besides, she didn't want to hear about Huo Jingcheng from other people. She lifted her long eyelashes and refused, "If I want to know something, I can ask him when I get back. I don't need to go through you."

"But are there some things he will really tell you?"
