Kyoto kisses her

Chapter 115 Would a decent person dress like this?
A flicker of confusion crossed Huo Jingcheng's eyes. He didn't understand why Su Ruoyun would say such a thing. He raised an eyebrow and asked seriously, "How am I being unserious?"

"A respectable person wouldn't dress like that?"

As Su Ruoyun spoke, she gestured to herself in the air.

It's no exaggeration to say that there are more unbuttoned buttons than buttoned ones.

Huo Jingcheng lowered his eyes and looked at his chest. Under his shirt, his pectoral muscles were clearly defined and his abdominal muscles were faintly visible, outlining a sense of power.

Not realizing he had done anything improper, the man's eyes revealed an innocent look. Then, he turned his gaze to Su Ruoyun with a clear and innocent expression, looking directly at her.

The moment she caught his gaze, Su Ruoyun's lips twitched violently. Judging from his expression, he thought she had said something utterly heinous.

She let out a barely audible hum from her nose, tilted her head back, and looked just like a proud peacock, gracefully passing over Huo Jingcheng.

She was so hungry that she didn't have time to argue with Huo Jingcheng about whether he was proper or not; who would want to know the answer to that question?

She walked past the living room and headed straight for the dining room.

The dining room is located to the right of the living room. Aunt Li had finished cooking dinner and left. The dishes she had prepared were on the table, and the air was filled with the enticing aroma of the food.

On the dining table, several plates of home-style dishes were neatly arranged.

Shredded pork with sweet bean sauce, steamed shrimp with garlic and vermicelli, sweet and sour pork tenderloin...

Aunt Li usually leaves around seven o'clock. Su Ruoyun touched the white porcelain plate; it was still warm and didn't need to be reheated.

She strode into the kitchen, reached into the cupboard and took out a white porcelain bowl, then picked out a pair of chopsticks from the chopstick holder.
Suddenly, a thick shadow fell on the ground, a tall and slender figure, elongated by the orange light.

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of the man standing in the kitchen doorway. She slowed down as she picked up her chopsticks, her hand hovering in mid-air.

Grabbing a set of bowls and chopsticks, as she left, passing Huo Jingcheng, Su Ruoyun bluntly said, "If you want to eat, go get your own bowls and chopsticks."

After saying that, she walked towards the dining table without stopping and sat down.

Upon hearing this, Huo Jingcheng subtly curved his lips into a smile, straightened up slightly, and took both hands out of his pockets.

A moment later, he pulled out a chair and sat down opposite Su Ruoyun. Su Ruoyun didn't wait for him to join her. She picked up a plump shrimp with her chopsticks and put it in her mouth. Then she picked up a few grains of rice with her chopsticks.

The two ate slowly and deliberately, with only the occasional soft clinking of bowls and chopsticks.

Huo Jingcheng put down his chopsticks first and replied to several emails while holding his phone in one hand.

By the time he finished replying to the email, Su Ruoyun had finished eating. She took a tissue, pressed it to the corner of her lips to wipe them clean, and then threw the crumpled tissue into the trash can next to the dining table.

Huo Jingcheng draped his long arm over the back of the chair next to him, lazily glancing at her.

Su Ruoyun's pajamas were not the silk nightgowns she wore before. They were cotton pajamas, long-sleeved and long-legged, in pink and white tones. The pattern on the chest was embroidered with a rabbit, and its two droopy ears hung down softly, making her look both cute and adorable, especially when she was eating seriously, she looked just like a lop-eared rabbit taking small bites of a carrot.

"Good Rabbit" gave the order to leave, her voice deliberately lowered and indifferent, "You've finished eating, you should go back now."

"I'm thirsty." Huo Jingcheng replied irrelevantly, casually placing his other hand on the edge of the table and tapping the surface lightly with his fingers.

“…” Su Ruoyun said stiffly, “Go to the living room and pour it yourself.”

After Huo Jingcheng finished his tea in the living room, Su Ruoyun once again gave him the order to leave, "You've finished your tea, you should go now." She glanced at the irregularly shaped clock on the white wall; it was already 8:30, and it seemed that the Huo family hadn't called once.

Huo Jingcheng slowly leaned forward, placed the cup on the coffee table, leaned back on the sofa, and then beckoned Su Ruoyun over with his finger.

"What?" Su Ruoyun asked, taking a small step forward and standing next to the coffee table.

Huo Jingcheng asked, "Are you free this Saturday?"

Revisited.

Su Ruoyun lowered her eyes, staring blankly at the empty cup on the coffee table. After a moment of hesitation, she casually brushed it off, "No time, I have something to do on Saturday."

"What is it?" Huo Jingcheng pressed on, knowing full well that she was deliberately giving him a vague answer, but he still wanted a definite one.

Su Ruoyun's gaze was unfocused, still trying to figure out how to make things up, when suddenly she met his gaze, and his hawk-like black eyes easily captured her heart.

She cleared her throat. "It seems like everything's alright now. What do you need me for?"

"I'll take you up mountains of knives, I'll take you down seas of fire." The man's tone was casual, yet he intimidated people with great interest.

Just as Su Ruoyun was about to say, "Then I won't go," Huo Jingcheng suddenly raised the corner of his lips and spoke, his tone playful: "Just kidding."

"..." Su Ruoyun.

After getting the answer he wanted, Huo Jingcheng didn't linger. Ten minutes later, Su Ruoyun escorted Huo Jingcheng to the door.

Huo Jingcheng walked slowly, taking one step at a time, and occasionally turning his head to glance at Su Ruoyun following behind him.

Su Ruoyun could only accompany him as they walked slowly to the shoe cabinet in the entryway, where he bent down to put on his leather shoes.

The man stood at the door, his alluring peach blossom eyes fixed on her. Their gazes met briefly in mid-air, and Su Ruoyun awkwardly looked away.

Seeing this, Huo Jingcheng reached out and pulled her into his arms, his chest pressed against hers, and his sharp, thin lips touched her forehead.

The kiss came a little unexpectedly, and a little hard, with a clear "pop".

Su Ruoyun fell into his arms, blinked blankly, and before she could react, she had been taken advantage of by him again.

Just as I was about to raise my hand to push him away, I heard Huo Jingcheng repeatedly remind me, "Don't forget this Saturday..."

Su Ruoyun was stunned for a moment, then used both hands to push his shoulders and drag him to the door.

"Okay, okay, you're so annoying..."

After she finished speaking, Huo Jingcheng was pushed out the door.

Su Ruoyun decisively raised her hand and closed the door, leaving Huo Jingcheng outside.

Huo Jingcheng stared at the metal door for three to five seconds, a smile playing on his lips, before turning and leaving to make sure Su Ruoyun wouldn't open the door again.

Meanwhile, Su Ruoyun leaned against the door, tilting her head slightly upwards, staring at the wall lamp in the entryway at a 45-degree angle. Because she had been staring at the light for a long time, her eyes were sore, and a single tear welled up at the corner of her eye and slid down her cheek.

After staring for about thirty or forty seconds, she finally came to her senses, raised her hand, and touched the spot where Huo Jingcheng had just kissed her, the lingering sensation still present.
