Chapter 105 You woman are quite the hypocrite.

The moment Su Ruoyun bumped into Huo Jingcheng's warm chest, she froze on the spot, stunned for a moment, the powerful heartbeat deafening in her ears.

She blinked slowly.

She had already learned her lesson that morning, and she hadn't expected this unexpected turn of events to happen again, leaving her momentarily stunned.

But at least she got the phone. Forget about being shy or angry, she snatched the phone from Huo Jingcheng's large, warm hand and started operating it on her own.

Su Ruoyun's fingers flew across the screen, and in just a few taps, she had completely deleted all the photos from the album, including those in the recycle bin, before handing the phone back to Huo Jingcheng.

She looked up and met Huo Jingcheng's deep, dark peach blossom eyes. His eyes narrowed slightly, and a dangerous aura emanated from him, like a cunning rabbit being stared at by a snow wolf. She couldn't help but feel a tightness in her heart, and only then did she realize how close the two of them were.

She immediately tried to escape Huo Jingcheng's embrace, but it was too late; she couldn't outrun him.

He steadily took the phone with one hand, smoothly putting it into his pocket, while his other hand naturally wrapped around her slender waist, gently pulling her close and holding her firmly in his arms.

"You hugged me again?"

"You're such a hypocrite," he commented.

A flicker of surprise crossed Su Ruoyun's eyes. She momentarily forgot to resist and slightly opened her mouth, "What do you mean by saying one thing but meaning another?"

Huo Jingcheng lowered his eyes, his sharp gaze sweeping across her face. He tugged at the corners of his sharp lips and said with certainty, "You like me, yet you insist on saying you don't."

"Stop talking nonsense." Hearing this, her chest heaved slightly with anger, and she immediately cursed.

The corridor is lined with glass walls on both sides, and sunlight pours in through the windows, creating a bright and open space. The dappled light and shadow dance on her face, making Su Ruoyun's expression even more vivid and lively.

Seeing Huo Jingcheng's arrogant and shameless demeanor, she turned her face away and said curtly and irritably, "I can't be bothered with you."

She then raised her hand, forcefully pushed Huo Jingcheng away, turned around, and walked out without looking back.

As they brushed past each other, she deliberately took a small step to the right, bumping into Huo Jingcheng's shoulder, but she didn't expect...

Not only did he fail to knock Huo Jingcheng down, but he himself staggered from the impact, yet his posture remained as steady as a rock.

Su Ruoyun lifted her eyelids, her gaze meeting his for a fleeting moment in mid-air. Embarrassed, she raised her hand to tidy her slightly disheveled hair, too embarrassed to look at Huo Jingcheng any longer, and walked straight around the corner.

When Su Ruoyun returned to the restaurant, she found that Li Li was no longer in her original spot. She sent her a message asking where she was.

Li Li replied quickly. After receiving her message, Su Ruoyun suddenly stopped, then picked up her foot, turned around, and changed direction, heading towards the hall.

Inside the hall, several genuine leather sofas were arranged in a staggered manner, echoing the glass coffee table. Various items were placed on the coffee table, including snacks and entertainment products. Several decks of cards were scattered around. Everyone sat in the hall enjoying a moment of rest.

Li Li raised his hand and waved at her, indicating that he was there.

Seeing this, Su Ruoyun immediately started walking towards her.

Su Ruoyun and Li Li nestled on a genuine leather sofa, the downy fabric slightly dented under their weight.

Su Ruoyun held her phone in both hands, staring intently at the screen as she discussed the "Yichuan Tobacco" teahouse event with her employees.

As summer arrives and the weather gets hotter, teahouses become increasingly popular, attracting not only business travelers but also many individual customers who come specifically to enjoy tea.

So, Su Ruoyun asked her employees to think of activities suitable for individual customers. She then forwarded the design images sent by Xiao Li to her WeChat Moments.

Within seconds, someone had given it a like.

A familiar profile picture—a snowy white landscape, a desolate winter day, distant pine branches, a barren snow-covered lake, and a warm lamp in a boat.

Su Ruoyun subconsciously looked up to find Huo Jingcheng's figure, but a tall and slender figure suddenly appeared in front of her, blocking her view.

She raised her head slightly and saw the face of the person blocking her way. "Brother Ruan Sheng."

Su Ruoyun greeted him politely, a slight smile on her face.

Ruan Sheng asked, "Ruojun, do you want to go for a run at the racetrack?"

In the pastures on the outskirts of Beijing, there are not only horse riding enclosures but also racetracks.

“…Okay.” Su Ruoyun thought about it silently for a moment, then readily agreed.

Not far away, Huo Jingcheng, sitting on a sofa, narrowed his deep black eyes little by little, as if a storm was brewing in his eyes, and his face was obviously shrouded in a layer of cold mist that lingered for a long time in the winter of Beijing.

Sitting to one side, Li Wenye had a faint smile on his lips. He deliberately raised his voice and asked, tilting his head, "Aren't you going to follow them and take a look?"

Huo Jingcheng turned his head, his gaze indifferent, and gave him a warning look.

Although he didn't say anything, Li Wenye understood the meaning in his eyes—it's none of his business.

Huo Jingcheng crossed his arms and casually looked around, feigning boredom. However, a glance out of the corner of his eye caught sight of Li Li standing with a young master, who clearly intended to invite Li Li to ride a horse together.

He twitched the corner of his mouth and deliberately asked, "Aren't you going to follow them and take a look?"

It wasn't hard to hear a hint of schadenfreude in Huo Jingcheng's tone.

Li Wenye was confused, but following his gaze, he felt a little aggrieved.

After a few seconds, he immediately retorted, "Look!"

It's unclear what Li Li said, but the young master showed a disappointed expression.

Before Li Wenye could gloat for even a few seconds, the young master immediately invited Li Li to rest in the rest area.

Li Li hooked the sun hat off the sofa, put it on, and asked as she adjusted it, "Aren't you going to ride anymore?"

Tan Xi shook his head. Seeing Li Li fiddling with her hair, he picked up his phone, opened the front camera, and used the screen as a mirror. He turned to Li Li, his eager gaze undisguised, and said, "I'll go with you to rest."

The rest area is located next to the racetrack, with a giant parasol and outdoor rattan tables and chairs, so that guests can relax while watching the race.

After tidying her hair, Li Li thanked Tan Xi, bent down to pick up a bottle of mineral water from the coffee table, and the two walked outside. Although their steps were not exactly synchronized, they were orderly despite the chaos.

Meanwhile, Huo Jingcheng saw Li Li and Tan Xi sitting down in the rest area through the floor-to-ceiling window, and couldn't help but chuckle, clearly mocking Li Wenye.
