Kyoto kisses her

Chapter 100: He doesn't like me, yet he hugs me on his own initiative?

Suddenly, Li Li struck with an elbow, and Su Ruoyun looked up sharply, following her words, and looked into the distance.

Inside the racetrack, several tall men rode on horseback, holding the reins in one hand. Their relaxed and composed demeanor made them seem more like they were strolling leisurely than racing.

The men were all similar in build, wearing black riding boots and black casual suits, and she couldn't tell which one was Ruan Sheng for a moment.

"Which one?"

"He's the most handsome one." Li Li, the 'brother-obsessed' guy, is back online.

Upon hearing this, Su Ruoyun's lips twitched. How could she possibly tell which person was the most handsome when they were so far apart?

"Isn't he handsome?"

Hearing Li Li ask her, Su Ruoyun could only squint her eyes, glance at one randomly, and pick the one riding at the very front who looked the most relaxed. She nodded perfunctorily, "He's quite handsome."

However, before that second had even passed, Li Li's "womanizing" habit kicked in again, and he changed his mind in an instant.

"But I think the man in the floral shirt next to my cousin is more handsome."

Upon hearing this, Su Ruoyun blinked blankly, thinking to herself, "Oh no, I think I've mistaken someone for someone else."

She turned her head and looked again. There was no man in a floral shirt next to the "Ruan Sheng" she thought he was. Instead, there was a man next to the person who was at the very end.

As the group returned on horseback and drew closer, Su Ruoyun finally saw who was leading the group.

Although they were still far apart, Su Ruoyun could feel Huo Jingcheng's intensely perceptive gaze.

Her eyes flickered, her gaze drifting back and forth, not daring to meet his eyes. Instead, she turned her head and stared blankly at the short, undeveloped grass on the lawn.

Only when Su Ruoyun realized that those deep eyes were no longer looking at her did she quietly turn her head away without making a sound.

Li Li curled the corners of his lips, gripped the railing of the racecourse with both hands, waved to Ruan Sheng not far away, and called out loudly, "Cousin."

Ruan Sheng nimbly dismounted, and the groom who had been waiting nearby quickly stepped forward and led the Arabian horse over.

He walked with steady steps, a gentle smile on his lips, toward the direction where Li Li and Su Ruoyun were.

Unlike Su Mingyan's superficial smile, which lacked genuine emotion, Ruan Sheng's smile was a truly warm and genuine one.

"Cousin/Brother Ruan Sheng"

“Lili, Ruojun.”

Li Li rested her head on the back of her clasped hands, tilting her head slightly. "Brother, who was that man riding next to you just now?"

She has a cheerful and straightforward personality and never hides her true feelings.

Upon hearing this, Ruan Sheng turned around and glanced at him, saying, "It's Li Er."

Li Er? Li Wenye?

Li Li and Li Wenye, although they share the same surname Li, are not from the same family.

Li Li wrinkled her nose, her expression vivid and adorable.

While they were chatting, the other young men strolled over, politely greeted the two of them, and then turned and walked out of the racetrack towards the three-story building not far away. Seeing that Su Ruoyun wasn't very interested, Li Li smiled and asked, "Cousin, aren't you going with them?"

She paused slightly, then playfully teased, feigning disgust, "You've been riding a horse for so long, you smell of sweat. Go take a shower."

Urged on by Li Li, Ruan Sheng also went into the lounge, and Li Li was taken away along with him.

So, on the huge racetrack, only Su Ruoyun outside the racecourse and Huo Jingcheng inside the racecourse remained.

Huo Jingcheng was the first to dismount, but the last to leave the racecourse.

He stroked the back of his reddish-brown horse, chatting with the groom beside him, seemingly discussing the horse's condition, and occasionally stroking the horse's mane.

After a while, he handed the reins to the groom, patted the horse's body, turned around, and walked over with a leisurely gait.

Huo Jingcheng's posture was lazy and relaxed, casually holding a horsewhip in his hand, the black walnut handle gleaming with a warm, jade-like luster.

He strolled slowly, his eyes lowered as he leisurely wrapped and tied the whip around his neck, his movements exuding a sense of ease.

When he reached the railing outside the stable, the riding whip in his hand had been neatly tied and was held in his large palm.

Huo Jingcheng lightly braced his right foot against the railing, his hands casually resting on the edge of the railing, his movements elegant and relaxed, looking at Su Ruoyun standing to the side with a half-smile.

"Were you looking at me just now?"

Su Ruoyun cautiously looked around, and only after confirming that no one was around did she dare to retort, deliberately being stubborn: "Narcissist."

"Is someone who looks like a narcissist?" he said jokingly, his tone somewhat mocking.

Upon hearing this, her gaze unconsciously drifted towards him. He had deep-set eyes and handsome features, and his black shirt fit him perfectly, exuding a cool yet charming aura.

"You think you're handsome? You don't even..."

She licked her dry lips, trying hard to recall a name to compare herself to, "You're not even as good as a single hair on Brother Ruan Sheng's head."

Hearing this, Huo Jingcheng's chest heaved slightly, angered. A cold laugh escaped his throat, the sudden chill even causing the surrounding air to drop a few degrees, making Su Ruoyun involuntarily shrink her neck.

He said through gritted teeth, "It's okay, as long as you like me as I am. If you say you have bad taste, then there's nothing I can do about it."

Huo Jingcheng looked helpless, his tone carrying a sense of powerlessness towards her, as if she really liked him.

"Who likes you?!" Su Ruoyun was so angry that she jumped up and down, as if her sore spot had been hit.

Huo Jingcheng raised an eyebrow, a hint of mockery in his voice, and slowly said, "If you don't like me, then who was the person who kissed and hugged me before? I remember that woman was Su Ruoyun, right..."

"Or is it that your body is honest, but your mouth is..." Before he could finish speaking, Su Ruoyun was already blushing with shame and indignation.

Fearing that Huo Jingcheng might say something shocking or nonsensical, she quickly took a small step forward and reached out to try to cover his mouth.

Unfortunately, Huo Jingcheng was half a head taller than her, so Su Ruoyun could only stand on tiptoe, stretch out her hand, and lean forward.

In the back and forth they went, her body inevitably bumped into his chest, she stumbled, and fell between his elbows.

Huo Jingcheng achieved his goal with ease, stretching out his long arms to pull the person into his embrace and hold him tightly.

He wore a smug grin, his eyes and brows brimming with amusement, and spoke in a nonchalant tone, deliberately saying, "You say you don't like me, but your body is quite honest; you know to come and hug me on your own initiative."
