"What I seek is all kinds of methods and a thousand kinds of paths, and the return of all methods to the truth, to comprehend the principles of Yin and Yang in the universe, and to understand right and wrong in the world."

"The five Zen temples on Mount Wutai are just a corner of the scenery I have experienced. The east wind prevails over the west wind, and the west wind prevails over the east wind. What is there to say about prevailing or not prevailing? The law has no constant victory, and the Way has no constant honor."

"I have never had any desire to win or lose, so how can there be a distinction between victory and defeat? It is you, Zen Master, who are attached to the distinction between Buddhism and Taoism, and to honor and fame. Do you still resemble a monk?"

Han Yun meant that he had not taken what the other person said to heart at all, but the other person was fixated on that little bit of self-interest, which was unreasonable.

Zen Master Huiming's expression changed repeatedly after hearing Han Yun's words. Finally, he couldn't help but sigh, "This old monk was attached to appearances. Benefactor, you truly are a successor of the Buddha of Emptiness!"

He clasped his hands together and bowed deeply: "Benefactor Han's realm is lofty, this old monk is ashamed."

Han Yun bowed again and then took his leave.

Zen Master Huiming personally saw Han Yun off as he left the gate of Xiantong Temple. Watching Han Yun's departing figure, he exclaimed, "Truly a disciple of the Buddha!"

Han Yun's goal has always been very simple: to ask questions, seek the Dharma, and to stop for a while in his spare time to enjoy the scenery along the way. Whether the scenery is good or bad, it doesn't affect Han Yun's enjoyment of it.

This scenery could be the wonders of the myriad worlds, or it could be a reflection and exploration of the myriad flavors of life; Han Yun would always gain something from it.

I have come here, I have witnessed, and that is enough.

When things are going well, one might get involved in the world's affairs; when things are going well or not, one might observe with indifference. One relies on one's heart, and only the heart can constantly experience and endure.

As for where the finish line is?

Han Yun didn't actually know either; he had only heard one saying: "The Tao has no end!"
At this moment, inside the interior space.

Han Yun placed the shattered fragments of Zen Master Huiming's Wisdom Sword into a golden-veined, glazed Bodhi leaf. The world within the Bodhi leaf changed, reflecting Zen Master Huiming's journey in cultivating the Wisdom Sword method.

The Mahayana Bodhicitta Sutra contains immeasurable wisdom, which can be one's own or that of others, and will ultimately become Han Yun's resources.

Han Yun looked at the tree full of Bodhi leaves. Three thousand Bodhi leaves, three thousand wisdoms, three thousand worlds are three thousand dharmas. This is the first leaf, and there will be a second, a third...

Until all the Bodhi leaves are full, it is a new cycle. The leaves wither and fall, and new leaves are born again, endlessly repeating the cycle!

Han Yun focused a wisp of his mind into the Bodhi leaf. When he opened his eyes again, two ethereal, crystal-clear magic swords shot out from them. These swords were formed from the spirit of wisdom and could cut through afflictions and sever ties with the mortal world.

It can seal memories, sever the past, extinguish the five senses, and lock the six roots!

I possess a sword that can cleave mountains and seas and all things in the world of my thoughts!

Finally, a golden vertical line appeared between Han Yun's eyebrows, resembling an eye pupil but also very narrow and long.

The fundamental nature of Han Yun's innate ability is that it transcends the past in time and space. When enveloped by innate Qi, it forms its own small world, detached from the greater world.

However, Han Yun's cultivation level was still shallow before, so he could only understand it as the ability of compound eyes like flies. To use a more appropriate analogy, it was more similar to the body of a tortoise and a fly!

After receiving the teachings of the Buddha of Emptiness, Han Yun grasped the meaning of "not here, not on the other shore, not in the middle stream." His understanding of innate abilities deepened, touching upon the profound boundary between existence and non-existence.

It is illusion, it is all emptiness!

The human body is a small world, and the world is a big human body.

Han Yun's body, this small world, can exist in the real world of "Beyond One," and it can also exist in the inner world, which is the world of his thoughts. It can also exist in both worlds simultaneously. Suddenly, Han Yun had a thought, and his figure appeared in three different locations at the same time: one where he was sitting quietly under the Bodhi tree, one where he was looking down from the clouds, and one where he was strolling in the mountains.

The three figures looked at each other, yet remained perfectly integrated.

The three Han Yuns spoke at the same time, their voices overlapping and echoing: "Not here means that one can be everywhere; not on the other shore means that there is no need to transcend, one has already transcended and is equal to heaven and earth; not in the middle stream means that one has already transcended opposition."

One is ten thousand, and ten thousand is one!

The oneness of all things is the ultimate self, which can also be transformed into myriad forms of self. It is neither a clone nor an incarnation, but all are the same self.

Emptiness and existence are both inseparable and interdependent; all phenomena are inseparable from a single thought.

The Bodhi tree blends seamlessly with the interior space, symbolizing the accumulation of immeasurable wisdom and merit. The Wisdom Sword Dharma Gate, on the other hand, is equivalent to condensing wisdom and spirit into a weapon, transforming the illusory into the real.

It was as if a chance event had triggered Han Yun's inner world, causing it to manifest on his physical body and ultimately transform into a strange phenomenon at the center of his forehead.

This is what is known as the "eye of heaven" or the "eye of wisdom"!
I observe the world with my divine eye, but in reality, I observe the world through my inner vision. Therefore, what I see is the true nature of the world's rules, the root of the Tao.

It's like the interior space is activated, analyzing how the rules of the outside world operate.

In addition, because it is an inner vision, it also possesses wisdom and spiritual insight, and has the ability to understand cause and effect, the past and the future.

Furthermore, it can use the Wisdom Sword, the thunder and true fire transformed from inner vision energy, and the Dharma collected by the Bodhi Tree as offensive techniques.

Han Yun no longer needs to painstakingly seek the inheritance of that cultivation method; he only needs to use his Heavenly Eye to observe it and he will be able to understand the principles of its operation.

Of course, Han Yun's golden vertical line between his eyebrows can be concealed at any time and will not be revealed to ordinary people.

With a slight thought, the golden vertical line between Han Yun's brows disappeared quietly, as if it had never appeared. Then, Han Yun left the inner space.

Han Yun stood on the mountain path, feeling the profound insights he had just gained, his mind clear and serene.

The distant sound of bells echoed through the valley. Han Yun looked up and saw the setting sun casting its last rays, painting the peaks of Mount Wutai red.

He suddenly remembered a saying that the Buddha Kongwang once said: "All things return to one, but where does one return to?"

At this moment, he seemed to have touched upon the edge of the answer to this question.

"The inner landscape is revealed outwardly, achieving harmony between humanity and nature!"

Han Yun murmured.

With a thought, the vertical lines between his brows reappeared, but this time it wasn't to unleash any supernatural power; he simply wanted to observe the world from a completely new perspective.

Through his clairvoyance, he saw sights that ordinary people could not see.

The mountain streams flow not only with water, but also with the energy of heaven and earth; the temples are filled not only with the rising incense smoke, but also with the colorful wishes of believers; even the soil underfoot reveals unique energy patterns under the observation of the divine eye.

Han Yun suddenly understood that this was the true nature of observing the world. Now that his inner vision was manifesting outwards and his Heavenly Eye was formed, he could finally directly perceive the operation of the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth.

Transcending the opposition between appearance and essence, directly grasping the entirety of the Tao, hence: Observing the world! Observing the Tao!

The interior space is like a small well, but Han Yun insists on sitting in the well and looking at the sky!
