Under One Person: My Inner Realm Connects to All Worlds!
Chapter 191 The Hidden World of the Heavenly Eye
Chapter 191 The Hidden World of the Heavenly Eye
In legend, the divine eye possesses the visual ability to see the cycle of birth and death of all beings in the ten directions, and is considered wisdom gained through the practice of the Twelve Links of Dependent Origination.
However, the Heavenly Eye Transmission that Han Yun received was different from his.
This is a complete system for cultivating pupil techniques.
It is divided into five levels: physical eye, divine eye, wisdom eye, Dharma eye, and Buddha eye, which are progressively advanced.
Through special training, they break through visual limitations and gradually acquire extraordinary perception abilities.
The naked eye can observe distant objects and light particles; the heavenly eye has the ability to see through internal organs and remotely observe space; the wisdom eye involves multidimensional observation and causal tracing; the Dharma eye enables energy manipulation; and the Buddha eye reaches the realm of universal Buddha light, with energy spontaneously influencing the outside world.
The basic stage of visual perception requires eliminating the physiological limitations of vision; the clairvoyant stage involves activating acupoints to form non-visual perception, but is limited to the observation level; the insightful stage requires mastering complex abilities such as three-dimensional observation, information deconstruction, and time tracing.
The Dharma Eye begins to possess the energy to substantially intervene in things; eventually, the Buddha Eye reaches the state of unconsciously influencing the outside world, and its radiant effect is regarded by Buddhism as the outward manifestation of the light of one's own nature.
The physical eye is obstructed and cannot see clearly, while the divine eye is clear and cannot be obstructed. The Dharma eye only observes the mundane, while the wisdom eye understands the true emptiness. The Buddha's eye is like a thousand suns, illuminating different forms yet revealing them as the same.
Ultimately, one cultivates to the level of Buddha's Eye, becoming the light of wisdom that illuminates darkness and transforms into boundless radiance.
The Visionary Collection is even more interesting.
What makes it interesting is that this tradition involves spatial principles, analogous to the Taoist art of creating a celestial universe.
In physics, the term "horizon" is a key concept describing the boundaries of spacetime, specifically referring to the critical boundary at which events can be observed.
For example, a black hole!
The event horizon is the geometric boundary of a black hole; external matter can enter in one direction, but the interior cannot escape.
The so-called Vision Realm Inheritance can also be called the Vision Realm. Cultivators need to use their innate Qi to create a dark and silent world within their own eyes.
It presents an image of nothingness, emptiness, and chaos!
In this world, there is no stillness, no passage of time, and no up, down, or four directions.
The pupil is like a precious mirror, reflecting all things in the outside world. The gaze captures all things, causing them to be distorted or disappear, but in reality, they are being collected and stored within the field of vision.
However, this Vision Realm inheritance requires the cultivation of the Heavenly Eye Transmission to be supported. The higher the level of the Heavenly Eye Transmission is cultivated, the larger the vision it opens up becomes.
Finally, the Buddha's own eye, with its inherent light, transforms into the Great Sun Tathagata, illuminating the darkness of the world and creating a pure land of Buddha.
Although it cannot compare to the Mahayana tradition of the Buddha Kongwang, it is still a commendable practice within Theravada Buddhism, possessing the potential to liberate oneself and attain Buddhahood.
When Han Yun stepped out of the Great Buddha Temple, Ganzhou City was already shrouded in twilight. He did not rush to leave, but instead found a hotel in the city to stay in and meditate on what he had gained.
In the interior space, the text of the "True Scripture of No Seeing" obtained by Han Yun appeared in mid-air under the Bodhi tree like fleeting shadows, like golden sand slowly rotating, each grain of sand representing a profound Dharma teaching.
The inheritance of the Heavenly Eye and the Visionary Realm transformed into two strange streams of light, one as clear as glass and the other as deep as a black hole, intertwining and swirling.
"The physical eye is the foundation, the heavenly eye breaks through obstacles, the wisdom eye observes cause and effect, the Dharma eye moves heaven and earth, the Buddha eye illuminates the universe..." Han Yun murmured to himself, constantly simulating and comprehending by calling upon his inner energy, his fingertips unconsciously drawing various pupil-shaped golden patterns in the air.
Then, the inner energy gathered in his eyes. Han Yun tried to activate the initial method of the Heavenly Eye Technique. He felt his eyes get slightly hot and the world in front of him suddenly changed.
Han Yun exited the inner space. The walls in front of him gradually became transparent, and the bones and internal organs of the neighbor in the next room were clearly visible; looking up, the roof seemed to be empty, and he could directly see the stars moving in the night sky, and even capture the subtle energy flow in the light.
"I see."
Han Yun seemed to understand something, "This Heavenly Eye is not a simple visual enhancement, but an enhancement of one's own spirituality, allowing one to directly perceive the subtle and essential aspects of all things in the world."
“Using a speck of dust as an analogy for the three thousand worlds, the light of the spirit illuminates the vast universe.”
Although the initial stages cannot compare to my Heavenly Eye, it is still a precious pupil technique for enhancing one's primordial spirit and spiritual nature. Moreover, each level is equivalent to a supernatural power.
It is comparable to the fundamental heritage of some major schools.
Just as Han Yun had guessed, many sages and saints had sealed away some of their inheritances, but at the same time, they all hoped that their descendants could inherit them so that their family's skills would not be lost.
The Celestial Master's teachings are like this, and so is the true scripture that Han Yun just obtained.
The current Buddhist practice of clairvoyance is a censored version, at most reaching the level of wisdom eye.
Han Yun then attempted to cultivate the Vision Realm Treasury.
According to the tradition, one must create a "stillness realm" deep within the eyes. This process is extremely dangerous, almost like gouging out one's eyes and piercing the pupils. The slightest carelessness could damage the eye orifices or even backfire on the primordial spirit.
Therefore, it requires a certain level of physical strength from the cultivator to be able to bear the innate Qi and create a "world". However, for Han Yun's current body, it is too easy.
If an ordinary person's physical body is like mud, then Han Yun's physical body is like a diamond, subject to countless hammering and chiseling.
Han Yun focused his mind inward, guiding his true energy slowly into his eyes. Although there was a slight discomfort, it was still tolerable. He felt as if two tiny vortexes were forming inside his eyeballs, constantly devouring the surrounding light and energy.
Gradually, two tiny black dots appeared at the center of the vortex. Although small, these dots gave people a sense of infinite depth, as if they could devour everything.
Two hours later, Han Yun suddenly opened his eyes. Two barely perceptible black dots seemed to flash and disappear deep within his pupils.
He walked to the window and looked at an old tree in the hotel courtyard. With a slight thought, a leaf on the old tree suddenly moved without any wind, and then mysteriously disappeared from the branch, as if it had never existed.
Within Han Yun's vision, the leaf was quietly suspended in absolute darkness, maintaining the posture it had just taken in.
"Indeed mysterious."
Han Yun praised softly, "This Vision Storage can not only store items, but also directly capture the opponent's attacks or even their physical body when fighting an enemy."
"If one cultivates the Vision Concealment to a high level, one might truly be able to contain Mount Sumeru within a mustard seed," Han Yun mused.
Moreover, this Vision Treasury lineage can not only open up one world; according to the lineage's description, it can open up to six, symbolizing the six realms of reincarnation.
In other words, each eye can contain three "worlds": one eye for the upper three realms and one eye for the lower three realms.
Combined with the Buddha's Eye realm, it can even capture the opponent's primordial spirit and soul into its field of vision for tempering, such as the eighteen levels of hell in the hell realm or the dream of wealth and glory in the human realm.
