Under One Person: My Inner Realm Connects to All Worlds!
Chapter 176 Pig Carrying Mountain
Chapter 176 Pig Carrying Mountain
"Ha, now you know how to apologize? Where were you before?"
Han Yun snorted coldly: "Too late!"
Do you really think Taoist priests have no temper?
Taoism has always emphasized "speaking one's mind directly." If you need to curse, then curse. After all, if you keep swearing in your heart, your heart will become dirty. If you curse out, your heart will become clear.
He makes me uncomfortable, so he's definitely my nemesis. I have to find a way to get rid of him.
Han Yun gazed at the ruined Dragon Palace and suddenly raised his hand. The dragon energy from the thousand carved dragons simultaneously detached from the beams and pillars, transforming into streams of light that gathered in his palm, condensing into a dragon pearl.
“I have taken the dragon energy that the Li family’s Dragon Palace has accumulated over a thousand years.”
He tossed the Dragon Ball to the five dragons, then gathered pure Yang sword energy in his hand. With a thought, the inner vision manifested outwards, and under the golden vein glazed Bodhi tree, several colorful lines of vows and causal relationships were clearly visible.
"This cause and effect is now over."
Having said that, Han Yun lightly flicked his sword finger, and the pure Yang sword energy, like a blade of judgment, severed all the colorful causal lines.
Wu Long suddenly felt a sense of relief, as if he had broken free of some shackles.
Then, the five dragons joyfully shared the dragon energy, and their scales immediately shimmered with a jade-like luster. However, the entire dragon palace seemed to have lost its soul, and all the exquisite carvings instantly became dull and lifeless.
These dragon energies were gathered by the Li family over a thousand years of hard work. They may have come from the original five dragons, from the people's faith and the people's expectations, or from the remnants of the original Tang Dynasty, all in order to one day rebuild the Tang Dynasty.
If enough dragon energy is gathered, there is hope that another person with an extremely noble destiny will be born, leading the Li family to prosperity once again.
Unfortunately, they didn't live to see that day.
Li Xingbang's face was ashen: "You...you destroyed the foundation of my Li family..."
"Foundation?!"
Han Yun chuckled lightly: "What era are we living in now? The imperial mandate is long gone. Besides, the so-called foundation of your Li family was destroyed by your own hands."
"Greed knows no bounds; a snake tries to swallow an elephant. One who reaps what one sows will not escape punishment!"
Han Yun turned and left: "Remember, today I only took the dragon's energy, and no one was killed. If there is a next time..."
Before the words were finished, a side hall in the distance suddenly collapsed silently and turned into dust.
"Should this be the case in this palace!"
------
As they left Longxi, the setting sun cast Han Yun's shadow long. The white dragon whispered, "Master, will they retaliate?"
"will not."
Han Yun patted his head, "Without the suppression of the Dragon Qi, that Soldier Fiend Formation will backfire on the main family. Without the protection of the Dragon Qi, the main branch of the Li family disciples will have to endure the bone-corroding pain of the fiendish energy when they cultivate."
"Furthermore, the foundation of those eight hundred Li family members has been destroyed. The extraordinary individuals have become ordinary people. After this battle, the lifespan of ordinary people will also be affected."
"If nothing unexpected happens, the Li family of Longxi will be completely cut off from the world of supernatural beings in another ten years or so. But that's fine, it will save them from being greedy and causing trouble."
However, afterwards, Han Yun called Zhao Fangxu again and told Na Du Tong to investigate as much as possible. If the Li family had violated the rules of the supernatural world, they should take this opportunity to investigate and deal with it all.
The reasons given are plausible. They attacked Han Yun, the honorary director of Na Du Tong, first, and Han Yun didn't go all out to kill them. Taking lives is understandable. Of course, if Han Yun didn't have the title of honorary director of Na Du Tong, he might actually have gone on a killing spree, but now his status is different, and he needs to be mindful of the consequences.
-----
After leaving Longxi, head west to Lancheng, which is most famous for its beef noodles.
Of course, there are always restaurants across China that claim to be Lancheng Ramen, but in reality, there is no such thing as Lancheng Ramen in those places; they are all beef noodles.
Moreover, the beef in the beef noodles is extremely plentiful, unlike the thin slices of beef in Lancheng ramen, which are even jokingly referred to by netizens as: "One cow is passed down for three generations, and the cow remains even after the person leaves."
The local beef noodles are characterized by five elements: clear broth, white radish slices, bright red chili oil, fresh and green cilantro and garlic sprouts, and smooth and translucent yellow noodles.
There are also different kinds of noodles. They are divided into different thicknesses, such as very thin, thin, medium thin, medium thin, thick, thin, thin leaf, thin wide, wide, and very wide. They are either as thin as silk rain or as wide as a jade finger.
Han Yun personally prefers to eat slightly more delicate food. After finishing his meal, Han Yun toured Lancheng for two days before heading to Zhuanglang County, which is under the jurisdiction of Lancheng.
The most famous place here is Zhutuo Mountain, the sacred site where the "Golden Buddha" was granted enlightenment by Emperor Ma Zi of the previous dynasty.
This Buddha with gold inlay was named Li Fu. After growing up, he became a monk and named himself Wuqing (meaning "heartless"), later changing his name to Chaodu (meaning "transcendence"), and was known as Fengdian (meaning "madman"). He was commonly called Buddha Li, and later generations also called him Fengdian Jigong (meaning "madman Jigong").
The reason he is called Ji Gong is because he does indeed possess some of Ji Gong's characteristics.
It is said that Li Fu attended a private school for two or three years when he was young, started farming at the age of eleven or twelve, and cut off his finger to become a monk at the age of eighteen to show his determination. He went to Xuanmao Mountain to practice, and when he saw that the mountain temple was dilapidated, he vowed to repair it.
To repair the Ten Kings Hall, Feng Dian drove a pig to carry bricks and tiles every day, and he even gave the pig the name "Self-Awakening".
Every day, they transported bricks and stones to the top of the mountain. Feng Dian carried six bricks on his own back and four on pigs. He transported bricks day after day without stopping. Later, when people saw this, they all came to contribute their labor and raise funds, thus fulfilling his long-cherished wish.
From then on, the original Xuanmao Mountain was renamed Zhutuo Mountain.
In addition, there are many other stories about him, such as sacrificing himself to pray for rain, boiling himself to provide relief, curing chronic illnesses in strange ways, turning over the soil to suppress sand, and cleverly repairing bridges. These stories are quite similar to those of the real Zen Master Ji Gong.
Although not as famous as him, he should still be a person of profound character and wisdom.
On this Pig-Carrying Mountain, there stands a 22-meter-tall gilded bronze statue, which, though not as magnificent as the Leshan Giant Buddha, is still quite remarkable.
However, Han Yun did not linger on any of the scenery of Pig Carrying Mountain. After glancing at the Buddha statue, he went straight to the temple on the mountain.
The temple was not small. At that moment, in the kitchen at the back, a young novice monk poured the leftover vegetarian food from the day's meals into the food trough and then tapped the trough.
Before long, a small black boar came running over, grunting, and buried its head in the trough, feasting heartily. The young novice monk was unfazed, simply smiling and patting its head.
Han Yun stood not far away, his gaze fixed on the little black pig, a strange light flashing in his eyes.
"Does this benefactor wish to offer incense?" The young novice monk noticed Han Yun and asked, his hands clasped together.
Han Yun smiled slightly: "No, I'm here to find it."
He pointed to the little black pig.
The young novice was taken aback: "This... you are joking, benefactor. This is just a wild boar from the mountains that comes here from time to time to beg for leftovers."
Han Yun shook his head, slowly stepped forward, and squatted down to look the little black pig in the eye.
