Chapter 135 It is like a dragon.
Lu Linglong's cheeks flushed red, her pretty face puffed up like a bun, her almond eyes filled with resentment. After all, she had almost been knocked unconscious in front of her fellow disciples, which was really disrespectful to her.

She steadied herself, gritted her teeth, clasped her hands in a fist and said, "Senior's cultivation is profound, Linglong is completely convinced."

After Lu Linglong stepped down from the stage, a young man dressed in a Taoist robe came up and bowed to Han Yun.

"Huang Ming from the Quanzhen Longmen Sect has come specifically to seek your guidance!"

Han Yun looked at the other party with great interest. Was it because he had hit Lu Linglong that his fellow disciple wanted to regain face?

Han Yun also knew about Huang Ming, who fought against Xiao Xiao in the Luo Tian Grand Ceremony in the original novel with his Yang Shen technique.

Unfortunately, his kung fu skills weren't quite up to par.

According to the different tenets of the Quanzhen School, it can actually be divided into two schools: the Northern School and the Southern School.

The Northern School of Quanzhen School advocates "cultivating the spirit before strengthening the body," while the Southern School, such as the school to which Master Ziyang belongs, emphasizes "cultivating the body before cultivating the spirit." Although they share the same origin, their order of practice differs.

The Longmen Sect is a branch of the Northern School. After entering the sect, they focus on cultivating their inner strength. Otherwise, Lu Jin would not have sent Lu Linglong to the Longmen Sect to suppress her self-destructive nature. Therefore, the Longmen Sect's real specialty is the method of creating Yang Shen.

This technique allows the soul to leave the body and move rapidly, enabling it to attack the souls of others.

However, Huang Ming was just a novice with limited skills. The ultimate form of Yang Shen (a spiritual practice) can actually be the transformation of true Qi into physical form, allowing for free conversion between the physical body and the soul. This is the Great Dao.

Zhang Boduan, the founder of the Southern School of Quanzhen Taoism, was an expert in the art of manifesting his divine power.

Legend has it that there was a high-ranking monk in Zhejiang who was skilled in "soul projection," which allowed his soul to instantly travel hundreds of miles away. Coincidentally, Zhang Boduan was also skilled in this.

One day, Zhang Boduan invited him to go to Yangzhou to see the magnolia flowers. So, the two of them went into a quiet room, and their souls simultaneously traveled to Yangzhou. When Zhang Boduan and the monks saw the magnolia flowers, he suggested picking one as a marker.

Afterwards, the two returned from their spiritual journey. The monk had no hands, but Zhang Boduan took out a Qionghua flower.

He explained to his disciples that he cultivated the Golden Elixir Path, which takes care of both the soul and the body. Therefore, he can form a shape when gathered and disperse into Qi when dispersed. He can make his soul manifest a physical form and touch real objects. This is called the true "emergence of the Yang Spirit", which can be described as a perfect combination of form and spirit!

The monk, in his pursuit of quick enlightenment, only cultivated his soul, unable to manifest or touch physical objects; this was merely "the emergence of the spirit," which did not belong to the Great Dao at all.

So, does it look familiar?

Isn't the so-called "emerging spirit" very similar to a certain characteristic of the Great Luo Cave Observation?

After obtaining the Hidden Dragon Sleeping Pill Technique, Han Yun had many thoughts, such as why the Eight Extraordinary Techniques were just techniques and not the Dao.
The reason is simple: the Eight Extraordinary Techniques are all derived from certain fundamental Taoist methods, but they are only a part of them. They have the techniques but not the Tao, and they are of no use in tempering one's own fundamental life force. They are not methods that lead to enlightenment.

Daoist alchemy has always been one and the same.

In fact, what Zhang Boduan could do, Chen Tuan and the Fire Dragon Taoist could also do, and they could even transform into dragons and roam freely, controlling true fire, wind, and thunder.

The Supreme Elixir is Like a Dragon!

The Wenshi School is also known as the Youlong School!
Where does this allusion originate?
After Confucius left, he said to his disciples, “Birds, I know they can fly; fish, I know they can swim; beasts, I know they can run. Those that run can be caught in nets, those that swim can be caught with fishing lines, and those that fly can be shot with arrows. But as for dragons, I do not know them; they ride the wind and clouds to ascend to heaven. Today I met Lao Tzu, is he not like a dragon?”

Yin Xi, seeing the wondrous form and spirit of Laozi, yearned for it and thus comprehended this Dao of alchemy.

The so-called dragon image is an image close to the Tao, a sacred image, an elusive image, capable of activating many mystical forces, beyond praise, hence it is called a dragon!
Later generations of the Wenshi School masters added their own interpretations to the dragon that was transformed from the god Shangdanyang, and "refined" it further.

Such as the hibernating dragon, the fire dragon, and the yin-yang fish dragon.

The path is ever-changing; those who learn from me live, those who imitate me die. Every patriarch has forged his own path. Han Yun has only cultivated the Hidden Dragon Form so far. He has no idea about its future development yet, but he can already switch between the real and the illusory, forming a shape when gathered and dispersing into Qi when dispersed.

Qi is the root of heaven and earth.

Or rather, from the moment he had the inner space, he was already capable of doing it; he was born with a "near-the-Dao body," which could also be called an "innate Dao body!"

On the arena, Huang Ming's Taoist robe fluttered without wind. He formed the Meridian Seal with both hands, and a golden light suddenly shone between his brows. A semi-transparent "Huang Ming" floated out from his body!

The primordial spirit was surrounded by a faint, shimmering white aura, yet its movements carried a sharp and imposing presence, and in the blink of an eye, it pounced in front of Han Yun.

Han Yun stood with his hands behind his back, a smile playing on his lips. Just as the primordial spirit's palm was about to touch his brow, his figure suddenly blurred.

"Roar--!"

A clear, resonant dragon's roar echoed through the heavens, and the celestial energy of wind and clouds gathered, causing a purple-gold light, about ten feet in length, to rise from where Han Yun was.

A colossal, ancient dragon with distinct scales and claws, seemingly tangible, coiled on the arena. Its eyes were half-closed, and its body was surrounded by wind and thunder energy. As its whiskers flew, Huang Ming's primordial spirit was sent flying backward as if it had crashed into an impenetrable wall.

Huang Mingyuan's spirit spun rapidly in the air and then stabilized, his face filled with surprise and uncertainty.

He had cultivated for over ten years and had never seen such skill before. Instantly, his primordial spirit raced, observing from different angles, before finally striking at the dragon's seven-inch neck.

A hint of admiration flashed in the dragon's eyes.

The dragon's ten-foot-long body suddenly dispersed into a sky full of purple-gold energy, and the primordial spirit missed its target. The purple-gold energy flowed like a living thing, and in the blink of an eye, it re-condensed behind Huang Ming's primordial spirit, and the dragon's tail swept gently.

"boom!"

Huang Mingyuan's spirit was struck as if by lightning, staggering forward before hastily returning to his body. When he turned around, he saw the dragon's head looking down proudly, as if a god had descended to earth.

Han Yun naturally wouldn't really fight Huang Ming. That sweep just now was less of an attack and more of a way to send Huang Ming's primordial spirit back into his body.

But even just this one gift is hard for Huang Ming to bear.

"What kind of Kung Fu is this?"

Fine beads of sweat appeared on Huang Ming's forehead, and the back of his Taoist robe was already soaked. He had been practicing the Complete Perfection Yang Spirit method for many years, and had never encountered a method that could so easily break through the Yang Spirit.

The golden dragon circled once in the air, its whiskers fluttering as it emitted a deep roar. A sudden storm arose on the arena, only to subside in an instant.

Then the dragon's body gradually changed, reforming into Han Yun's figure.

"At your age, your ability to manifest your Yang spirit is already quite good; you can be called a genius."

Han Yun stood with his hands behind his back, a hint of approval in his eyes: "But you still need to keep practicing."

All the disciples below the stage were completely silent.

The dragon form that had just appeared, shifting between reality and illusion, was completely beyond the comprehension of ordinary supernatural beings. Lu Linglong's almond-shaped eyes widened, and the mineral water bottle in her hand had been crushed and deformed without her noticing.
