Chapter 193 Amnesiac Youth
"You mean, Wu doesn't remember you?" Teng crossed his arms and leaned lazily against the mottled wall of the bamboo house.

He tilted his head slightly and glanced indifferently at Wu, who was sitting on the bamboo bed with his back to everyone. A glint of light flashed in his dark green eyes.

Yu Li's expression was solemn, and he said in a low voice, "It's not just that he doesn't remember me, it's that he doesn't remember anyone."

Bai Cang frowned slightly, his amber eyes lingering on Wu for a moment before asking Qinglan, "Did you call her Aying?"

Qinglan nodded gently, glancing at Wu with some concern: "We've already called."

Teng glanced outside, the glaring sunlight falling on his gloomy brows, making his dark green vertical pupils appear even colder.

He snorted coldly, his voice filled with suppressed anger, as if he were grinding his teeth: "Ha, this fish, he usually acts harmless, but Ah Ying is pregnant with her babies, yet he doesn't care at all, he has no sense of proportion!"

The room fell silent for a moment.

The males remained silent, a murky and ambiguous emotion hanging in the air.

Yu Li, however, seemed to be trying to cover up his mistake by coughing twice, his eyes darting around, and a thin layer of red instantly spreading across the tips of his ears, which also tinged his handsome face with an unnatural blush.

Teng narrowed her dark green vertical pupils, looking at him suspiciously. Just as she was about to question him, she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure out of the corner of her eye, dressed in crimson, slender and graceful.

"Aying!" Teng suddenly turned his head, but froze when he saw the cub in Danyue's arms.

He straightened up abruptly, gasping as if struck by lightning, and exclaimed in shock, "Aying gave birth last night?!"

His voice even trembled slightly at the end.

A stone stirred up a thousand waves.

All the males in the room turned their gazes to Fuying, and the air seemed to freeze.

Bai Cang's gaze first fell on Fu Ying's forehead, and then turned to the cub in Dan Yue's arms.

He strode forward, his slender fingers gently parting the hem of the swaddling clothes. His amber eyes flickered slightly when he saw the cub's appearance, and his voice carried a hint of amusement: "It hatched last night? Tuanzi will be very happy if he knows."

Dan Yue nodded, her eyes filled with tenderness as she looked down at the cub in her arms.

This little guy can eat and sleep well, and he hasn't woken up yet.

His little face was rosy and rose and fell slightly with his breathing, showing no sign of the great suffering he had endured in his mother's womb.

Fuying slowly stepped into the bamboo house, his narrow eyes looking past everyone and landing directly on Wu on the bamboo bed.

He sat quietly, his back straight, his pale, slender fingers resting on his knees, his gaze fixed on the window as if watching the clouds drift by. The noise inside the bamboo house did not affect him at all, as if they were all just air.

The ducks, however, were clearly not in the mood to talk to them, and isolated themselves in another world.

She turned her gaze away and looked at Yu Li, who was standing to one side: "He woke up yesterday, why didn't he wake me?"

Yu Li froze, her golden pupils darting around, and her Adam's apple bobbed with difficulty.

He took a deep breath, avoiding her gaze, and said in a deep voice, "My brother doesn't remember anyone, including me and you. Do you have a way to make him remember again?"

Teng glanced lazily at the infant in the swaddling clothes, let out a soft hum from its nose, and casually turned its face away.

He remembered all the old and new grudges with the Marquis of Nevernight, so don't expect this little brat to receive the same treatment as Tuanzi. Besides, this is a male; how can he be compared to a delicate little female?
Hearing Yu Li's words, Teng chuckled, a hint of amusement in his voice: "Make him remember? Weren't those memories painful for him? Now that he's forgotten them, that's a good thing."

After saying that, his voice suddenly turned cold: "However, whether it's true forgetting or pretending to forget, that's another matter."

As he spoke, his eyes swept dangerously over Wu, with a cold scrutiny.

Luo Heng still vividly remembered the lesson from the past. He remained vigilant in the face of these suddenly returning males, determined not to let the incident at the tribal trade fair repeat itself. Who knew that Wu might be pretending to be stupid in an attempt to harm his females!
Yu Li's eyes suddenly turned cold, her knuckles clenched until they turned white, and she stared at Teng, saying, "What do you mean?"

Teng twitched his lips, walked to Fuying's side, put his arm around her waist, and pulled her a few steps back.

He lightly stroked the side of Fuying's waist with his fingertips, his voice carrying a nonchalant danger: "Don't you know what I mean? Who knows if you two brothers harbor hatred, but know that revenge is hopeless, so you resort to these petty tricks?"

Qinglan's eyelashes trembled almost imperceptibly as she silently gazed at Wu and Yuli.

The words Teng spoke were nothing short of immense pain to him, for he had witnessed them firsthand.

Even though Wu was injured while saving him and ended up like this, he couldn't utter a word in his defense. If anything happened to Aying, even if he gave his life, it would be too late to make amends.

Dan Yue tightened her grip on the cub's arm, but her gaze fell on Fu Ying.

He didn't speak, but only glanced at Fuying with concern.

He knew better than anyone that the current Aying was no longer the ruthless female who took pleasure in tormenting males.

She will definitely save the duck.

This thought silently spread through Dan Yue's mind, carrying a certainty mixed with an indescribable complexity.

Bai Cang's amber eyes flickered slightly as he silently moved to the other side of the pillar.

He glanced at Teng sideways. This snake was usually cold and menacing, but in this matter, he was right. Regardless of whether Wu's amnesia was true or not, they could not joke about the safety of the female.

After all, Luo Heng's matter is still a thorn in everyone's heart. Who can guarantee that Wu's amnesia is another hidden deception?

Looking at everyone's attitude, Yu Li's eyes simmered with suppressed anger.

He turned to look at Fuying, his voice hoarse, and said in a deep voice, "You said you would save my brother, is this how you save him? Make him forget everything from the past? Make him a weakling who has erased his past?"

He knew, of course, that those memories were a torment and pain for his brother, but no matter how painful, they were still branded into his bones. To simply forget them, to escape, to live another life was not in the temperament of their Golden Eagle clan.

Fu Ying looked at Wu quietly for a moment, then said, "You all go out first, I'll be alone with him for a while."

Teng's pupils suddenly contracted to slits, his whole body radiating a fierce aura, his voice filled with disapproval: "No!"

"Just for a little while." Fu Ying looked up at Teng, her charming voice full of gentleness.

Teng's Adam's apple bobbed violently. He frowned as he looked at his female, the bulging veins running down his neck to his collarbone. After a long while, he finally looked up at Yu Li and squeezed out a sentence through gritted teeth: "You, come out with us!"

He couldn't let the two brothers share a room with Aying; that would be too dangerous.
