Chapter 6 First Meeting with Cai'er
In Haoyue City, Su Zhe returned to the Haoyue Branch Hall.

"Brother Su!"

Little Long Haochen ran over, wearing a heavy-duty suit, and awkwardly gave Su Zhe a knight's salute.

Su Zhe smiled and returned the greeting.

Long Haochen is indeed very likable. He is humble, honest, and the fine qualities of a knight are already beginning to take shape in this ten-year-old child.

More importantly, the subtle, ethereal aura emanating from Long Haochen made Su Zhe feel a sense of goodwill towards him.

"As expected of the Child of Light, he already possesses such abilities even before awakening." Su Zhe exclaimed in amazement.

"Brother Su, can you take me back to Odin Town?" Long Haochen asked nervously.

“Odin Town?” Su Zhe was taken aback. “Why do we need to go back to Odin Town?”

As far as Su Zhe knew, Bai Yue and Long Haochen lived a frugal life and didn't have much at home. His master even had a storage space, so he should have packed their things when he brought the two of them back.

"I want to go back and say goodbye to my friends..." Long Haochen said softly.

Su Zhe suddenly realized that this request was reasonable for Long Haochen, who valued loyalty and affection.

"It seems Master has trained you too hard. You don't even dare to tell him. Wait, I'll go tell Master." Su Zhe said, both amused and exasperated.

Long Xingyu's training methods are indeed ruthless; otherwise, Su Zhe wouldn't have been able to reach the sixth rank so quickly.

In Long Xingyu's words.

"The last person whose innate spiritual power exceeded eighty became a Divine Seal Knight at the age of thirty-six. I want you to achieve Divine Seal before you turn thirty!"

Su Zhe arrived at the training room, only to find that Long Xingyu was not there, and only Bai Yue was cleaning.

Su Zhe quickly stepped forward and took the broom, saying, "Teacher's wife, you don't need to do these small things."

When Bai Yue saw Su Zhe, she smiled slightly and said, "Everyone is very busy. It's just some small matter. By the way, Xingyu asked me to tell you that he has already gone to Yulong Pass."

Su Zhe was taken aback. "There's been fighting at Yulong Pass?"

Bai Yue shook her head and said in a low voice, "This time, he probably went to Yulong Pass to resign from his position as Chief of the Military Affairs Department and devote himself to teaching the two of you."

Su Zhe nodded and changed the subject, "Master's wife, Haochen asked me to take him back to Odin Town, what do you think..."

Bai Yue chuckled, "Go ahead, I feel at ease with you here. Xingyu rarely leaves, so you two should relax a bit."

Su Zhe smiled slightly. With his master's wife's consent, even if his master came back, he couldn't stop the two of them.

After leaving Haoyue City with Long Haochen, Su Zhe summoned the landlord.

A sacred dragon, nearly ten meters long, suddenly appeared. Its enormous wings blotted out the sky. Little Long Haochen had never seen such a terrifying creature before, and his face turned pale with fright.

Su Zhe patted Long Haochen's head. "Don't be nervous. This is my mount, the landlord, a sacred dragon."

Long Haochen gradually calmed down and began to look at the landlord with curious eyes.

"Brother Su, will I have a mount like this in the future?" Long Haochen asked expectantly.

"Of course, with your talent, it won't be long before you reach the Knight's Holy Mountain. I'll teach you some basic knowledge about mounts along the way," Su Zhe said with a smile.

The two sat on the landlord's back, and the enormous dragon wings spread out as they sped off towards Odin Town.

Ironically, the landlord, being a sacred dragon, has potential equivalent to at least 85 points of innate spiritual power among humans. Apart from Su Zhe, only Long Xingyu can get close to the landlord based on his strength and talent.

Others are not sufficiently drawn to the element of light; if they get too close, the landlord will emit an angry whimper.

Because of this, Li Xin cried many times.

Along the way, Su Zhe taught Long Haochen a lot about mounts, including some powerful magical beasts.

Seeing Long Haochen's expectant look, Su Zhe was speechless, wondering if Long Haochen would be able to choose other mounts on his trip to the Knight's Holy Mountain.

Upon arriving in Odin Town, Su Zhe keenly sensed an unusual atmosphere.

From the distant mountains, a faint aura of darkness drifted by, and Su Zhe, as a possessor of the Light Protection physique, was extremely sensitive to it.

Su Zhe's expression was serious. "Haochen, you go in first. I have some things to take care of."

Long Haochen nodded obediently. He knew that Su Zhe had something to do, and with his current strength, he couldn't help Su Zhe at all.

After Long Haochen left, Su Zhe followed the dark aura all the way up the mountain.

Upon arrival, a petite girl was seen lying on the ground.

Su Zhe frowned, walked to the girl's side, and held his Spirit Demon-level shield in front of him.

"Is everything okay?"

The girl had several wounds on her body and was pointing anxiously behind her.

Can't speak?

Su Zhe's expression shifted. The girl who appeared at this time of day couldn't speak yet—could it be Cai'er? But Su Zhe didn't have time to think further; several figures dressed in black had already appeared.

"A lackey of the Demon Clan?" Su Zhe asked, his eyes narrowed.

The men in black exchanged glances, but didn't reply. Instead, they instantly attacked Su Zhe.

Su Zhe snorted coldly, and a spirit-demon level longsword appeared in his hand.

"Landlord!"

"Ow!!!"

As the dragon's roar that echoed through the sky subsided, the men in black felt dizzy and stopped in their tracks.

Su Zhe seized the opportunity, and the longsword in his hand was covered with golden light.

"Ascension Formation!"

The longsword was plunged into the ground, and a burst of intense golden light erupted from below, knocking several men in black to the ground.

"Holy Sword!"

Su Zhe swept his longsword across, beheading several men in black.

The landlord's figure descended from the sky, glanced at the several dusty corpses, and turned its head away in disgust. It only liked shiny things, such as the demon's magic crystal.

Of the demons Su Zhe had killed before, apart from the two emerald-green dual-blade demons, the demon crystals of the rest had all fallen into the landlord's hands.

Just as all of this was over, a figure in white suddenly appeared and pulled Cai'er behind him.

Eighth level!

Su Zhe's mind raced. To be able to take the girl away from him so quickly, she must be at least an eighth-level expert, and moreover, an assassin.

Hero Number One looked at Su Zhe and said coldly, "Thank you."

After saying that, Hero Number One turned and left with Cai'er.

Cai'er realized what was happening, and her small body began to struggle, whimpering.

"Put her down."

Su Zhe raised his longsword. He hadn't yet confirmed that the girl was Cai'er. Now, a stranger was trying to take away an injured little girl right under his nose. That would violate the chivalrous spirit that Su Zhe had learned.

More importantly, Su Zhe already sensed a familiar aura approaching. He knew without a doubt what would happen if he backed down when facing people from other professions.

Hero Number One stopped in his tracks. "Don't pry into things you shouldn't know."

His voice was cold and hard, devoid of any emotion.

The matter concerning Cai'er is a top secret of the Assassin's Temple. If Su Zhe hadn't been a sixth-tier rank at such a young age and had a sacred dragon as his mount, Hero Number One would have knocked Su Zhe unconscious long ago.

Su Zhe felt a surge of anger. "Damn it, if I were alone, I would call you 'senior' and politely ask you what's going on. But now that my master is here, you're still acting all high and mighty."

"I said, put her down."

The landlord landed behind Su Zhe, and the two auras intertwined, faintly comparable to the seventh rank.

Just then, Cai'er suddenly bit down on Xia Zhe No. 1's wrist.

Xia Zhe No. 1 winced in pain and instinctively let go. Cai'er ran behind Su Zhe and wrote on the back of his hand.

"Big brother, he's not a bad person, thank you."

Su Zhe put down his longsword and rubbed Cai'er's fluffy little head.

Seemingly enjoying the warmth of Su Zhe's palm, Cai'er surprisingly did not struggle.

"Goodbye."

The little hand wrote this, and at the same time, Cai'er took a ring off her hand.

"Forget-me-not..."

Su Zhe read aloud the words engraved on the ring and looked at the girl in shock.

It really is Cai'er. But I didn't risk my life to save people like Long Haochen did in the original story, so why did Cai'er give me this ring?

Regardless, Su Zhe accepted the ring.

Looking at Cai'er, who was only seven or eight years old, Su Zhe felt a sense of guilt, as he seemed to be about ten years older than her.

Upon seeing this, Hero Number One's expression changed. Just as he was about to make a move, a gentle breeze swept past him.

"What do you intend to do to my disciple?"
