My version of Heavenly Dao is too old, so it's full of bugs.

Chapter 748 The Person Who Most Wants Buddha to Die

Chapter 748 The Person Who Most Wants Buddha to Die
To help the Buddha revive and be reborn, all the Buddhist deities rushed forward to protect him, and they were about to reach the gate of life and death.

But at this moment, the demon gods and monsters of the Nine Saints Heretical Path rushed up "enthusiastically," instantly disrupting the formation of the Buddhist gods.

[You wretched creatures! What are you trying to do?]

[Hahaha, no matter what, we're on the same side, so naturally we must help Buddha revive!!]

[The Demon Nest Matrix! Activate!]

boom.

Suddenly, the millions of miles of mountains and seas of Liangshanbo spread out from the void, blocking the Heavenly Court's pursuers behind them, but also blocking the path of the Buddhist sect, intercepting everyone within the mountains and seas.

The Buddha was not surprised by this.

After all, cultivating to His level is a tremendous burden on the Three Realms themselves.

Therefore, even if the Nine Saints and Heretics do not move...
Heaven and Earth themselves will surely try to prevent Him from reviving and will set up countless obstacles for Him.

These are all the "trials" He must go through for His resurrection!

Buddha put his hands together in prayer position, then raised his right hand and extended his left hand downwards.

【This is.】

Upon seeing this, the Buddhist monks were immediately overcome with emotion and knelt down devoutly, disregarding even the threats from the Heavenly Court and the Nine Saints Heretic Sect!
next moment,
The Buddha pointed one finger to the sky and one to the earth, roaring like a lion towards the heavens and the earth: "If I am resurrected!"

[I vow to liberate all sentient beings, to eradicate endless afflictions, to transmit immeasurable Buddhist teachings, and to attain supreme Buddhahood!]

The loophole in the mind's perception was activated as desired by Heaven!

The supreme Buddhist supernatural power, "Making a Great Vow," then activated, and boundless divine power rolled, transforming into countless tentacles that deeply penetrated the body of the "Three Realms."

As a result, the three worlds of heaven, earth, and humanity, as if brainwashed by a pyramid scheme leader, began to tremble violently and emitted bursts of joyful lamentations.

Flowers began to fall from the sky, and auspicious clouds began to gather.
The Buddha's imagery is dreamlike and ethereal, radiating a more sacred light than that of ordinary Great Luo cultivators.

"You bald monk, you want another loan?!" Tiandao7.20's eye twitched at the sight, unable to resist trying to stop him.
However, the Buddha's supreme power of making great vows bypassed the power of the Heavenly Dao and directly completed the "world brainwashing," forcing the world itself to "believe" in these four vows and borrowing infinite fortune from all things in the universe!
The Buddhist deities who survived from the Western religions were immediately awestruck.

Back then, these Western believers were merely lending money to monks and making money off ordinary people.

And what about Buddha?

He borrowed from heaven and earth with a great vow!
Now, it's just a small test. With just 28 words, he has successfully borrowed boundless fortune from heaven and earth.
One can only say that he truly deserves to be called Buddha!
The Buddhist monks looked at the aura gathered around the Buddha, and then thought about the loans they had taken out on the black market. They were filled with shame and felt ashamed.

I can't help but wonder if they made a mistake in their repairs?

But for monks to make grand vows is like undertaking an engineering project. From project initiation to loan approval, to funding and allocating funds, it's all a matter of knowledge.

Whether or not the money can be lent out is a question.

After that, how to use the money, how to repair it, whether to repair it or not, whether it can be repaired, whether it will be abandoned or handed over to the authorities—there are just too many hurdles in between.

If used properly, you are like Buddha, able to make grand vows and borrow fortune at will.

But if used improperly, it's like Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, still working in the underworld to pay off debts, and most likely will never be able to be liberated in this lifetime.

Currently in Buddhism, apart from the Buddha and a few other Buddhas, even the great Bodhisattvas cannot "make vows casually"!
Therefore, many newly enshrined deities in Buddhism can only imagine the scene of Buddha making vows in legends, but they are seeing it for the first time in reality!
For a moment, many people couldn't help but burst into tears of joy.

The person who cried the most intensely was none other than Dipankara Buddha!

At this moment, He couldn't help but clasp His hands together and say with utmost sincerity: "The Buddhist sect, after enduring two versions of this, has finally found a new vision!"

After the Buddha's passing, the Western religion, which was destined to flourish, suddenly declined and almost perished along with the Buddha.

Fortunately, these surviving Buddhas managed to give this declining force a much-needed boost by converting Western religions into Buddhism.

But the Buddhist community eventually disbanded.

The Buddha who has passed away still firmly occupies the current position of Buddha; of the three pillars of Buddhism, only He and Maitreya remain.
Only the past and the future remain, but the present is gone!

Even more fatal is that the newly established Buddhist community lacks a "great vow," or rather, a guiding principle and a goal. Therefore, it is outwardly strong but inwardly weak, and has already become a disorganized mess.

After all, there are countless Buddhist teachings, and every Bodhisattva and Buddha has their own Dharma gate. The doctrines proposed by Dipankara Buddha and Maitreya could not be accepted by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

Although the Buddhist sect has made many attempts over the years, no one but Buddha has been able to achieve "all Buddhas paying homage," unify the branches of Buddhist doctrine, and unite the entire lineage.

If it weren't for the pressure from the Heavenly Court and the rise of the Nine Saints Heretical Paths, the Buddhist sect might have already completely split apart long ago.
After two versions, a new "target" has finally appeared!

I vow to liberate all sentient beings, to eradicate all afflictions, to transmit the immeasurable Dharma, and to attain supreme Buddhahood.

Dipankara Buddha knows.

This is not only a vow of Buddha, but also a transformation of Buddha's identity!

It's kind of funny, really.

When the Buddha passed away, Buddhism had not yet appeared. The title "Buddha" was merely bestowed upon him by later generations and was never recognized by him personally.

Moreover, because the Buddha's passing was too sudden, many Buddhist teachings were lost, especially the fortune that the Western religion had gathered was "locked up".

And now,
The Buddha himself vowed to spread the Buddhist teachings. This symbolizes that Buddhism has completely inherited the "Western Buddhist tradition," and even more so, it symbolizes that Buddhism has completely shaken off the shadows of the past and entered a new stage!

Therefore, not only did Buddha successfully borrow fortune from heaven and earth.

Even the Buddhist monks inherited the fortune that originally belonged to the Western religion from heaven and earth, and received countless blessings from the Buddha's teachings!
As a result, more than two hundred new divine positions were added to the Lingshan pantheon on the spot.

In addition, all Buddhist deities at the Dao Integration Realm collectively advanced by a small rank, and at least 30% of mortal monks experienced a direct leap in rank.

The entire Buddhist sect's strength was enhanced as Qi Refining progressed to Foundation Establishment, Foundation Establishment to Golden Core, and Golden Core to Nascent Soul.

Boom!
Several Grand Luo Immortals from the Heavenly Court, along with their army of cultivators, were surprisingly defeated on the spot despite having a temporary overwhelming numerical advantage.

The Nine Saints Heretics don't even have a Great Luo Immortal anymore, which made Sun Buwu's expression change. He immediately led a group of demon gods and monsters to retreat.

That's a bit much!

If a river changes course, it is extremely difficult to reconnect the old and the new; how much more difficult would it be for a lineage of thought?
Western religions and modern Buddhism differ in two versions, with countless subtle differences, yet even the slightest difference can lead to vastly different outcomes.

The result was unexpected.

The Buddha had only been resurrected for less than a day, yet he had already bridged the gap between the Buddhist and Western traditions.
It can only be said that he is indeed a terrifying existence who was able to suppress the original form of the Great Sage Equaling Heaven for five hundred years, and he is indeed the Lord of the Western Paradise who can rival the Three Pure Ones!
This efficiency is terrifying!

With everyone backing away, the Buddha's path was no longer obstructed, and he finally arrived at the foot of the Heavenly Emperor's Gate.

Seeing this, Guanyin Buddha's tightly pursed lips finally relaxed slightly: [Heavenly Dao, do you see? The greatest uncertainty, the Nine Saints and Heretics, has retreated. No one can stop the Buddha's resurrection!]

Hehehe

Tiandao7.20 smiled and repeated: "While I did say that there are people who are even less willing than I to see Buddha resurrected, I never said it was the Nine Sages or the Heretics."

The Buddha stepped forward, about to push open the gate to the Heavenly Emperor's Path.

Countless monks eagerly awaited the Buddha's resurrection, their minds already filled with dreams of Buddhism replacing the Heavenly Court and becoming the supreme ruler of the Heavenly Realm.

Suddenly,
A beam of dark light suddenly descended upon the Buddhist camp, engulfing all the Buddhist monks and completely isolating them from the outside world.

this moment,
Not only is it invisible from the outside, but it's also impossible for people outside to see inside.

Even the monks inside could not see each other, completely losing their perception of the world.

Buddha seemed not to have reacted for a moment, and then with a soft "plop," a hand pierced through his body.

[Cough cough cough]

The Buddha did not turn around, but calmly asked: "Why?"

For the sake of Buddhism!

Dipankara Buddha sighed and locked away the Buddha's mind and will, cutting off all possibility of His escape.

But He did not escape either.

"Indeed, with your wisdom, you must have already guessed it, yet you still gave me this opportunity. I can only say, that's just you! Buddha!"

puff!

puff! !
Immediately following, knives, swords, vajras, and shamans pierced into the Buddha's body.

Buddha finally turned back.

Looking up along the blade, one could see Vairocana Buddha, Rocana Buddha, Akshobhya Buddha, and even Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, all of whom were now fiercely attacking Him.

So, you're all here.

Right
Besides the combined efforts of all the Buddhas, who else could instantly invade the Buddhist legal system and block the senses of all the monks?
The Buddhas do not want the lower-level monks to see what they are doing now!
The Buddha turned his head slightly and asked again: "Why?"

Ran Deng remained silent, unwilling to reveal the cruelest truth.

Finally, it was Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, with tears in his eyes, who asked: "Buddha, will you abandon your dream of rebuilding the Pure Land and bringing happiness and joy to all?"

You're definitely the most virtuous one!

The Buddha smiled, his eyes gleaming with the light of dreams, and said with unwavering determination: "No."

Tears finally welled up in Puxian's eyes and streamed down his face as he said, "This is why you must die."

【teacher!】

We have sacrificed so much for your dream!

The Buddhist community today can no longer afford the price of fulfilling your dreams.

So please die here, making way for those who come after you.

After all, a world filled with flowers and happiness never existed in the first place!
