Therefore, the concept of "karma" has become an important part of Buddhist practice. However, Buddhist practice emphasizes self-awakening and transcendence, so theoretically, there is no need to "beg for alms" from the outside world!

So why did the Bodhisattva Mighty King take the evil path of begging for alms through loans?

The answer is simple.

Achieving enlightenment and transcending worldly concerns is just too difficult!!

Even though He is a Bodhisattva, He cannot completely escape the three calamities and nine difficulties of the human world, and naturally cannot achieve complete enlightenment and transcendence.

This is also the state of the vast majority of Bodhisattvas in Buddhism today; they simply cannot achieve enlightenment on their own.

Therefore, they could only "learn" the theories of the Chan and Jie schools and Taoism, and use alms-begging to gather the power of sentient beings.
This led to the formation of a new force within Buddhism today – the alms-seeking faction!

Although it is not orthodox and is not favored by other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas!
However, it must be said that taking out loans to beg for alms for spiritual practice is a quick way to make money, so this faction's power expanded rapidly, and the Mighty King Bodhisattva is one of the most important representatives of it!

But it's a pity.

Since the alms-begging sect never had a Buddha, they lacked confidence on Mount Ling!
