Late that night, a dark figure darted out of Gantang Village, heading west directly into the depths of the Men'som Mountains. Rings of golden energy emanated from Lan Tian's head and penetrated his entire body, continuously cleansing his form and cleansing his soul. At this moment, the two forces within Lan Tian's body quieted down, as if subdued by some higher-level, more powerful energy, which imprisoned the two black and white energies within him. These two energies traveled along his blood vessels and bones, through his skin and meridians, settling in his dantian. Within the dantian, the two forces balanced, contained, and interacted with each other, circulating independently.

The surroundings suddenly fell silent; the dark clouds, lightning, and demonic energy dissipated, and the valley truly returned to peace. At that moment, the golden figure vanished again, disappearing into the blue sky as if it had never existed.

After a long while, the Mensomm Mountains returned to calm. The mist around the crater in the valley had dissipated, and the dark clouds and lightning were no longer visible. The entire valley had lost its former mystery, terror, and immense pressure; everything had returned to normal. There was no longer the slightest fluctuation of energy, and not a trace of terror could be found. The valley was deathly silent. The darkness had receded, and the dark clouds and lightning had vanished. A gentle breeze swept through the valley, scattering dust into the air. The wind rustled the leaves, the stream murmured, and insects, fish, birds, and beasts rested there. Looking up at the sky, one could see a vast expanse of stars, a distant, twinkling expanse that seemed to beckon to the blue sky.
