Chapter 193 Your face reeks of lies
Brush brush!
Sword light danced, scattering specks of blue light, like twinkling stars in the night sky.

At this moment, man and sword are in perfect harmony, creating countless images, like a gentle breeze, as if it were made by nature.

In a flash.

Ren Shaoyang flicked his wrist, and his sword flashed out in quick succession.

In an instant, the mist followed the direction of the sword, shooting out in all directions like a volley of arrows. The surging water surface made a "thump-thump" sound, like large and small pearls falling onto a jade plate, creating a cacophony of sounds and endless variations.

Ren Shaoyang wielded the "Flowing Wine Sword" with unrestrained passion, perfectly in tune with the rhythm, feeling utterly delighted.

"Qiang!"

Sheathing his sword, a gentle breeze swept by, and the surroundings suddenly brightened, revealing verdant mountains and crystal-clear river waters.

The sudden dissipation of the mist surprised everyone. They saw the man in white robes gazing into the distance with his hands behind his back. Following his gaze, they saw the distant mountains undulating and blending with the clouds and mist, just like ink paintings naturally spreading on rice paper, with varying shades of light and dark.

Ren Shaoyang gazed upon the vastness of the universe and admired the magnificent scenery of swordsmanship, thus finding joy in letting his eyes roam freely and his heart soar!
"Hahaha!"

Ren Jianshen chuckled, his long-lost youthful spirit bursting forth, startling the tourists on both sides who thought he had gone mad.

"Wow!"

"Ouch! That's cold!" Ren Jianshen was splashed with foot bath water in his face. He turned around and glared at Hongxiu with hostility. "Little beggar, you've made me look so pathetic!"

Hongxiu sat with her knees drawn up to her chest, golden bells jingling on her round, snow-white ankles, and green shoots adorning her snow-white insteps, making her even more adorable.

The little beggar stuck out his tongue slightly: "You cripple, are you practicing swordsmanship or just showing off?"

"Yeah, yeah!" Ding'an was sweating profusely from rowing. "All these young women and wives are staring at you like you're a slut!"

"Hey!" Ren Shaoyang frowned. "That's a really harsh way to put it. Haven't you heard the saying: 'I thought you were just a painting in the scenery, but who knew you would become the scenery in my heart'?"

"Ew!" The little beggar grinned, "You cripple, you repressed pervert!"

"Haha, these young ladies and wives are still too shy." Ren the Scoundrel chuckled smugly. "If it were the bold and unrestrained heroines of the 'Heavenly Mandate Sect,' they might have already boarded the ship with aphrodisiacs and started chatting!"

Hongxiu gritted her teeth, her eyes blazing with fury: "Witch!"

Ding'an exclaimed "Hey!" and said loudly, "How can you speak of a female bodhisattva like that?"

The beggar was furious and stepped forward to elbow him, yelling, "You stinking broken hand, you're a big pervert!"

The small boat drifted downstream and arrived at the ferry crossing in Yangshuo.

The place was renamed Yangshuo because the two peaks of Yangshuo Mountain stand opposite each other, resembling sheep horns.

The three of them got off the small boat, but instead of leaving, they waited for the little beggar to find someone to chat with at the ferry.

After a short while, Hongxiu came skipping over, tossing silver coins in her hand.

Ren Shaoyang laughed and asked, "The ship has been sold?"

Hongxiu raised her head, put her hands on her hips, and said, "My sister Hongxiu is loved by everyone and flowers bloom for her; she's already sold herself to these handsome young ladies!"

As they were talking, the young men carrying swords stood on the covered boat, waving and shouting, "Miss Hongxiu, when we arrive in the capital, you are welcome to visit the Xining Sect!"

The little beggar jumped up, waved, and shouted, "Okay! I'll definitely look for you!"

Once the small boat had sailed far away, Ren Shaoyang crossed his arms and looked at her: "You bought it for two taels of silver, and you're selling it for five taels. Aren't you afraid they'll realize what's happening and cause you trouble?"

Hongxiu tossed the silver coins, caught them with her backhand, and, wiping her nose, said smugly, "Your sister Hongxiu praised them to the skies, saying they were the best in the world, their mouths were practically stretched to their cheeks, they've never been so happy in their lives! Is three taels of silver a lot? Did we ask them for a single extra penny?"

Ren Shaoyang thought for a moment and couldn't help but laugh, "If that's the case, we sold it at a loss."

The two stared at each other for a long time, then couldn't help but grin mischievously.

Just then, the sound of wheels rolling came from afar; it was Ding'an driving a donkey cart over.

That white donkey is quite something.

The distance from Guilin Prefecture to Yangshuo is more than 60 li, and he insisted on pulling his own cart to come all the way, just in time to wait for the three of them to disembark so they could get in the cart together.

The donkey cart traveled happily along the path, and the outline of Yangshuo County gradually became clear.

The place was surrounded by mountains, but the mountains were not continuous; instead, they looked like corn stacks. The three country bumpkins exclaimed in surprise.

Upon entering the county town, one sees large expanses of white-walled, blue-tiled buildings situated along the water, contrasting with the dark stone slabs and pale green mountains.

They were reflected together in the pool of water accumulated by the rain.

Yes, it's raining again.

The weather was fine when we disembarked, but then a clap of thunder brought a torrential downpour that drenched the mountains and rivers.

"Wow~"

The donkey cart rolled through the puddles, casting fragmented reflections of the town. The three stopped at a restaurant, made arrangements, and then went inside for a meal.

Ding'an asked the waiter, "Is there any more food?"

"Oh dear, sir, you're late. We've sold out of meat and wine, and all we have left is rice noodles."

Ding'an thought for a moment and said, "Then let's have three big bowls of noodles and plenty of fresh leafy greens."

The three of them habitually found a spot by the railing on the second floor and sat down.

As the saying goes, when eating hot pot, you should lean against a wall; when eating a meal, you should lean against a window. This is an unshakeable piece of old wisdom.

Soon after, the noodles were served.

"This place is beautiful, with beautiful people and scenery, the best in the world." Hongxiu slurped up her noodles and muttered to herself, "Hmm, the noodles are pretty good too." After taking a big gulp of soup, she changed the subject, "It's just that the rain comes down so suddenly, and the weather is hot and humid, not very pleasant."

"There are gains and losses." Ren Shaoyang finished his noodles in a few bites, rubbing his ring and laughing. "If you get all the good things from God, then there will definitely be man-made disasters."

"Haha, bring some rice wine, let's have a taste!"

Ding'an came over carrying a small jar of wine, calling out, "Bring out bowls, I'll pour it for you."

Just then, the noisy commotion in the entire restaurant suddenly subsided.

The three paused, puzzled, when suddenly they heard the sound of horses' hooves.

"drive!"

"drive!"

"drive!"

The three villains stared intently and saw a group of knights wearing straw hats and raincoats galloping in from afar. They were strong and tall, with a red scarf peeking out from under their hats. They carried knives and swords and had an imposing presence.

Ren Shaoyang raised an eyebrow and said, "The Red Turban Bandits?"

Before Hongxiu could answer, the people around her got up, paid their bills, and left.

An old man, who was kind-hearted, said to him, "Young man, are you new here? This red scarf from the Xinmen sect has been stolen. You'd better leave quickly."

"Are they the Street-Cleansing Tigers?" Hongxiu asked in surprise. "So ferocious?"

Ding An slurped up noodles while looking down at the knights below, saying, "They're coming for us."

Ren Shaoyang sipped his rice wine: "How terrifying! These people have no good intentions."

The little beggar laughed and said, "Aren't we the ones who should be?"

The old man saw that they were saying how scary it was, but they didn't move an inch, so he sighed and hurriedly ran towards the door.

In just a few breaths, the entire restaurant had become quiet, except for the sound of rain outside the window and the three people slurping noodles.

Just then, a flurry of footsteps could be heard.

Then a thin man dressed in a black robe rushed up to the second floor. He had a mustache, high cheekbones, and dark circles under his eyes.

Only his peach blossom eyes, once swept across Hongxiu's face, fixed on her face, gleaming with a sharp light.

The three villains simultaneously narrowed their eyes.

Then a dozen or so men in black came up and approached Ren Shaoyang and his group's table together.

Several men in black quickly carried a rosewood armchair up from downstairs for the thin man to sit on.

He pulled a pipe from his pocket, had his subordinate light it, took a couple of puffs, and then said with a smile, "I am Bu Di from the Zunxin Sect. I greet my brothers and sisters from the 'Three Fiends of the Northern Frontier'!"

Ding An snorted coldly: "Who's your brother or sister?"

Bu Di looked at Hong Xiu, raised his pipe, took a few more puffs, and shouted loudly, "At home you rely on your parents, but when you're out in the world you rely on your brothers! The three of you are talents in my underworld, aren't you my brothers, Bu Di?"

Hongxiu looked at her indifferently and said, "Who sent you to test us?"

Bu Di paused in his smoking, his expression changed, and he looked at her seriously: "As expected of a master who defeated Feng Han and Qian Luo, your insight is truly remarkable!"

He smiled and then said, "You are all highly skilled in martial arts and have unpredictable methods. After a year of silence, you have suddenly come to the territory of my Zunxin Sect."

"Of course I, Bu, must come to show my hospitality as the host!"

Ren Shaoyang put down his wine glass and said calmly, "You're lying."

Bu Di was taken aback, then said with a gloomy face, "How did I lie?" He then took another puff of his cigarette.

Ren Shaoyang said, "Your face reeks of lying." After a moment's hesitation, he added, "Did Fang Yeyu send you?"

Bu Di was greatly alarmed, his eyes widened, and his gaze sharpened.
