Zombie Sage in Naruto

Chapter 247 The First Experience of the Tail Jinchuuriki

Chapter 247 The Ten-Tails Jinchuriki's First Experience
As the leader, Kaede Tsukasa did not come in person, but only sent a disciple who had transplanted the Eternal Kaleidoscope.
Mizuki was shocked and furious. He was genuinely wary of Kaedeji, after all, he was born and raised in Konoha and had heard Kaedeji's legendary deeds since childhood. However, extreme awe can easily breed extreme jealousy, especially for someone like Mizuki. Suddenly gaining the strength to stand among the top ninjas in the world amplified the dark side of his heart like never before.

He was now even angrier that Kaedeji had dared to look down on him so much!

"He doesn't dare to face me directly. It seems he's realized he's no match for me," Mizuki said coldly. "Even if you're an immortal ninja, it's useless. I'll crush you into mincemeat."

Hidan tilted his head and rolled his eyes: "You're not an Otsutsuki yet. Teacher said you're just a modified tool, the kind that can be discarded after use. Even if you have a Karma on you, it doesn't mean anything. Unless Jigen dies, you won't have the chance to inherit all of Jigen's power and become the new Otsutsuki."

"It seems you know a lot about the Otsutsuki clan... Hmph, it's only a matter of time. Even Jigen has to rely on my power; he hasn't mastered divine arts."

Mizuki immediately waved his hands to bind Hidan. He had already prepared his tactics in his mind, using his claw marks to dismember Hidan's body and throw the pieces to different locations in the ninja world.

"Be careful of the spacetime markers he creates remotely!" Iruka warned.

Hidan simply shook his head. The instant claw marks appeared on his body, he quickly formed a hand seal and pressed it against the ground. A strange summoning jutsu appeared, and then a phantom power descended.

"What is this thing..." Sasuke's Sharingan can see more things than ordinary people, and he was surprised and uncertain at this moment. A summoning beast?
The claw marks eventually landed on the thing Hidan summoned.

"What is this? Why does it feel so strange..." Just as this thought flashed through Shui Mu's mind, he saw that this thing was completely unaffected by the claw marks and pounced on him in an instant, pinning him down.

He tried to use the claw marks to escape, but to his shock, he found that he was unable to use magic.

"Oh my, the teacher has finally shown me one of her most treasured secrets."

Hidan snorted coldly, looking at the terrified Mizuki with a wicked smile. His expression was full of amusement. He loved this kind of amusing thing the most. Every time he saw the enemy's terrified expression because they hadn't had prior intelligence, he felt extremely happy.

Before Mizuki could utter a curse, Hidan's figure gradually disappeared under the watchful eyes of the others.

It was as if some force was gradually erasing Mizuki's existence from reality.

"...Izanagi?" Iruka asked, bewildered.

Sasuke immediately shook his head: "Impossible, it's definitely not Izanagi. Turning such a powerful person into an illusory thing is something Izanagi cannot do. Besides, Lord Hidan's eyes are not blind, they are perfectly normal."

He was more inclined to believe that Kaede Tsukasa had forcibly erased Mizuki using the Musou Tsukuyomi—like turning Mizuki from a real person into a dummy in an illusion. But this was too shocking and unheard of.

However, considering that the Musou Tsukuyomi is the strongest illusion technique in the world developed by Kaede Tsukasa and can achieve a super wide range of coverage, it is not entirely impossible for it to do something so incredible.
Sasuke, who appeared calm, had already mentally crashed. He had just walked on the edge of life and death, awakened his Sharingan, and witnessed a high-level confrontation that he shouldn't have been involved in. His small brain had to process too much information, making it somewhat difficult to function.

Naruto wasn't much different; he didn't even know what Izanagi was and could only rely on post-mortem analysis.

"It's a dragon vein. I don't really know where my teacher found this thing, but it's very useful... He always manages to find some strange things, like the Grim Reaper, dragon veins, the Box of Elysium, and so on."

Hidan turned and left. From the moment he appeared there until he turned and left, he only made one move. It was as if he wasn't dealing with a terrifying enemy, but rather enjoying a leisurely outing.

This casual attitude of not taking the enemy seriously at all made Naruto and Sasuke admire them greatly, their eyes sparkling with admiration.

Iruka wanted to apologize, since Mizuki had come to Konoha mainly because of him, but Hidan had no intention of listening to his nonsense.

Kaede Tsukasa had even less interest in him, though he was somewhat interested in Mizuki.

"Where is this place?! Damn it!"

When Mizuki opened his eyes again, he found that the surrounding environment had changed drastically. Judging from the architectural style, he could vaguely tell that this was still Konoha Village.

The surrounding area was filled with dilapidated and collapsed houses, a scene of deathly stillness, as if no one had lived there for a long time. Looking around, there was only silence, like the end of the world.

Occasionally there would be some noise, usually from zombies passing by, but they were in a daze, driven only by instinct.

"Illusion?" Mizuki bit his lip until it bled, enduring excruciating pain, but there was absolutely no way he could break free.

"It's both an illusion and reality. You're the second guy I brought here, and there might be a third soon."

Kaede Tsukasa appeared in front of Mizuki, looking at him with great interest. His gaze was clearly that of someone sizing up a rare animal: "You, a piece of trash, can actually wield divine arts. Orochimaru is truly a genius."

Mizuki was horrified and instinctively took a step back. Even if the man in front of him did nothing, he would still feel immense psychological pressure: "What does this have to do with Orochimaru? I mastered divine techniques entirely through my own efforts! Kaede Tsukasa, you dare to appear in front of me? Aren't you afraid of death?"

He created a large number of claw marks, not only on the ground, but he also planned to create several on Kaedeji's body.

Not only that, patterns began to appear on his face as Mizuki forcibly unsealed the data in the White Wedge, intending to borrow Cixian's power.

But Kaede stood there motionless, all the attacks passing right through his body, as if Kaede himself were just a phantom, not existing in the current dimension.

“Divine magic is indeed very powerful, but it depends on who uses it. Someone like you was created as an experimental subject… Since Cixian dared to let you into my village, it means he has already prepared for the worst.”

However, even Jigen probably wouldn't have expected that Kaedeji would actually send Mizuki to another world in one go. But that's fine, it makes it easier for him to trick Jigen. "Besides, Claw Mark is a spatial ability, which is completely different from time-based abilities. If I hadn't used the main power of the Dragon Vein to seal Otsutsuki Toneri, you wouldn't be able to stand in front of me and speak to me."

Kaede Tsukasa is using the Dragon Vein as some kind of forbidden technique. Whenever there is a troublesome enemy, he uses the Dragon Vein to throw them over by connecting the Musou Tsukuyomi and the Limited Tsukuyomi, as well as the close connection between the Limited Tsukuyomi and the anime timeline.

At least in the comic book timeline, the enemy has been effectively dealt with, and as long as the dragon vein doesn't cause any problems, there's basically no need to worry about the enemy returning to the comic book timeline.

However, Kaede Tsukasa cannot simply regard the Limited Tsukuyomi as a garbage dump. Although this world is already in the midst of endless war and has no value for Kaede Tsukasa to cling to, it is still somewhat useful.

Shui Mu immediately jumped onto the roof of a dilapidated house and looked around in horror. He often saw people fighting. He even watched as someone died in battle, but no body was left behind. The body slowly disappeared.

"What's going on... Time, you possess the Time Eye Technique, is this the future? Has the Hidden Leaf Village you ruled been destroyed by war?"

Shui Mu's mind was in a mess. He wasn't particularly good at intelligence analysis to begin with, and it took him a few extra seconds before he suddenly realized what was going on:

"This is the Limited Tsukuyomi!! I understand now, this is the war to attack the Limited Tsukuyomi that people can participate in after logging into the Musou Tsukuyomi!!"

Mizuki was completely stunned. A chill ran down his spine, and immense fear made him tremble all over. His body, which had been greatly enhanced by Orochimaru and Karma, was now shaking violently, and his heart was pounding.

He was no stranger to this place. Before he defected from Konoha, he was a Chunin of Konoha, qualified to use chakra to enter the genjutsu world. He naturally knew that most people who wanted to earn points in the Musou Tsukuyomi and exchange them for their desired bloodline limits and secret techniques mainly had to do so through the war against the Limited Tsukuyomi.

Those who die in battle disappear from the illusionary self, while their real selves suffer mental trauma, fall seriously ill, and need a period of recuperation to recover before they can re-enter the Mukoro Tsukuyomi to participate in the battle.

As for those in the Limited Tsukuyomi, once they die, they are truly dead—although some people have grumbled that the NPCs in the Limited Tsukuyomi are too lifelike, they can only attribute it to Tsukasa Kaede's forbidden technique reaching its peak, which can simulate the real world to the greatest extent possible, creating a false world that people feel is very real.

Even if some individuals do have doubts, there is no evidence, and the speculation is too absurd—those who are limited by Tsukuyomi die, but those who launch attacks from the side of Musou Tsukuyomi do not. Could it be that fake people can attack real people? Or is it an endless resurrection, launching endless attacks regardless of the boundary between life and death? That would be even more absurd.

"Damn it, so this isn't the future, or even reality, but an illusionary world?" Mizuki suppressed his inner panic and pretended to be calm.

His twitching face betrayed his true thoughts.

Kaede looked up at the sky: "This is indeed a limited Tsukuyomi, but it's not entirely a genjutsu world. Your intelligence is a little higher than I thought. Speaking of which, you also participated in this war. You did 29 D-rank missions and 6 C-rank missions to get a chance to participate, but you were killed by Uzumaki Kushina as soon as you entered the battlefield. You were swept out of the game without gaining any merit or points. All your previous efforts were wasted... How pitiful."

"You spy on me?"

"The Formless Tsukuyomi is my forbidden technique, and I was the one who spearheaded the war against the Limited Tsukuyomi. I have backups of all your online activity, your behavior, and your mission details."

Kaede Tsukasa pointed to his head: "To put it simply, you can think of everything in the Musou Tsukuyomi as a giant 'wedge'. All the data can be recorded and sealed, and I can access it whenever I need it. You received the white wedge from Jigen, so you must understand what I'm trying to say. So don't talk about monitoring you. Someone like you isn't worth my deliberate monitoring."

Shui Mu took two steps back in fear. He found the man in front of him to be terrifying. The super-large-scale group illusion he created had even more terrifying uses, completely exceeding Shui Mu's comprehension.

In comparison, his divine arts, in terms of their informational impact, did not seem so intimidating, at least not to the point of making Kaede Tsukasa wary.

More patterns appeared on Mizuki's body. This behavior was actually very dangerous. He had only recently obtained the Wedge and had used its power at a high intensity to create claw grime. He then used it repeatedly. This frequent unsealing would accelerate the damage to his already substandard body.

But Shuimu had no choice.

"My divine magic remains unaffected. Whether the Limited Tsukuyomi is set in an illusionary world or another reality, it won't affect my power! Kaede Tsukasa, don't even think about making me worship you like I used to!!"

Mizuki roared and swung his claws fiercely, leaving black marks. He only needed one chance; if he could leave claw marks on Kaedeji's body, he could bind and kill him.

Kaede stood there motionless. Before Mizuki could even show a joyful expression, a black sphere instantly appeared in front of Kaede, rapidly expanding into a disc and blocking the claw marks.

Immediately afterwards, the black sphere changed shape, and all the claw marks on it dissipated, as if no form of spatial coordinates could leave a trace on the black sphere.

"This is impossible!! How could you so easily block my divine magic? This is a divine magic!!"

Mizuki roared in disbelief, his inner terror completely erupting. He rushed towards Kaede Tsukasa without regard for anything, his speed exaggerated by the power of the Karma, even faster than the Third and Fourth Raikage!

But it was no use, because the enormous claws he swung out, the power of ninjutsu and objects that should have been able to crush everything, were easily blocked by a hand that Kaedeji extended.

Despite the ground beneath their feet sinking violently and the force dissipating, the collapses spread outwards in concentric circles, engulfing the ruined streets and houses.

But Kaede Tsukasa did block it calmly, relying solely on taijutsu, which shows that his body has transcended the realm of ordinary ninjas.

"This body hasn't disappointed me. Even though it's far from being a complete Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, you're not even a broken Otsutsuki." Kaede Tsukasa was fairly satisfied with his first time wielding the power of this body.

At the same time, Cixian stood up from his seat, and a rare look of surprise appeared on his usually indifferent face.
