Chapter 205 Fusion and Ian's Advancement
Chapter 205 Fusion and Ian's Advancement
In the chaotic zone between the end of time and the collapsed area of TVA, energy turbulence flows like a raging galaxy, and shattered fragments of time and spatial debris fly in all directions like meteors.
A golden-red streak of light suddenly burst out from the collapsed TVA area behind.
Like a petrel darting through a storm.
It skillfully evaded all kinds of deadly energy turbulence and physical debris.
The shimmering light was none other than Morgan Stark, with four mechanical tentacles extending from her back firmly "grabbing" four adults: the unconscious Thor, the severely injured and weak Doctor Strange who was barely conscious, the helpless Captain America, and Sylvie, whose mouth had just been sealed with nanomaterials and who was panting heavily.
"Saturday! Hold your ground! There's a floating starship wreck ahead!"
Morgan gave a low growl.
“You can always trust me.” The artificial intelligence responded, and the armor instantly transformed into a streamlined aircraft, narrowly missing a rotating titanium alloy giant plate.
Here, the laws of physics have become blurred, and everything is in a chaotic and dangerous balance, with only the distant end of time radiating eternal light and brightness.
Morgan Stark was like a giant crane, using the mechanical arms extending from his armor to grab several people, dodging all sorts of turbulent currents as he frantically approached the end of time.
They could all see that at the end of time, Ian and the time monster Elios were still locked in close combat. The boy rode on Elios's ever-changing "neck," his four arms desperately holding back the tentacles/mouthparts made of pure energy that were trying to burrow into his abdomen.
He was still muttering curses under his breath.
"I told you that's the toilet! It's the sewer outlet! Not your front door! Can't you have any sense of boundaries?! If you keep this up, I'll charge you! I'll charge by the second! It'll be very expensive!"
Threats had no effect; Elios responded with an even more ferocious devouring desire and roars, resulting in a stalemate and an extremely absurd and dangerous balance.
Morgan Stark was about to make a few jokes.
at this time.
"What exactly was that mechanical monster?!" Doctor Strange asked hoarsely, his voice strained despite his injuries, his face still bearing the shock and horror he felt when facing Ultron.
Thor gradually awakens.
"Where's Daddy?! Where did my daddy go?"
As soon as he woke up, he tried to find his father. His eyes were bloodshot, and he was clearly not fully recovered from his trauma. So he looked like he was struggling desperately.
This severely impacted Morgan Stark's flight.
"Sorry, Uncle Thor, please calm down for a bit."
Morgan, a ruthless man with sweet words, delivered a powerful electric shock that instantly caused Thor to convulse. His armor immediately released more nanochains, binding him like a mummy and sealing his mouth shut.
"Has anyone answered my question?"
Doctor Strange spoke again at this moment.
Morgan was completely focused on maneuvering his armor, weaving through the dense obstacles, and had no time to explain, thus breaking the seal on Sylvie's mouth.
“Miss Loki, you explain,” Morgan said succinctly to Sylvie, while making a sharp turn to avoid a huge piece of spaceship engine wreckage burning with eerie blue flames.
"My name is Sylvie!"
Sylvie corrected Morgan's statement, but because she didn't want to end up like Thor, she didn't refuse Morgan even though she was frowning.
"That mechanical entity was named Ultron, an artificial intelligence originally designed to protect Earth. But it went out of control, believing that life was chaos and that only a complete mechanical order was the ultimate destiny of the universe. In some universes, it was defeated and became nothing more than dust in history."
"However, in certain special universes, he surpassed his creator and eventually... became an extremely terrifying being, just like the one we are encountering now."
“He must be a remnant program of Ultron from before the end of the universe, who planned everything and seized control of the Time Mutation Administration immediately after the universe restarted, becoming the master of all this now.” Sylvie was a little nauseous from the high-speed and bumpy flight. She took a deep breath, suppressed her discomfort, and quickly explained the situation.
"An artificial intelligence... can actually reach this level?" Doctor Strange found it hard to believe.
Although he prided himself on being well-informed these days, the fact that an AI created by humans could ultimately control time and nearly destroy the multiverse was still beyond his comprehension. Thor, bound like a dumpling, also stared wide-eyed, clearly shocked by the news, temporarily forgetting his worries about his father.
Good sons are all like this: they are filial, but their filial piety is somewhat Schrödinger's cat-like.
Seeing their shocked expressions, Sylvie sighed helplessly.
"The boundary between the virtual and the material is not as clear-cut as you imagine. Although Ultron is essentially an artificial intelligence, it has already embedded itself into the most fundamental operating rules of the world, like a virus invading the core of the world, thereby usurping many powers that do not belong to it."
"He is no longer a program, but has become part of the time-based logic—like a computer virus parasitizing a computer's hardware system."
Sylvie's tone was heavy.
"What?!" Doctor Strange's pupils contracted. "You mean... he became the 'administrator' of time?"
“To be more precise,” Sylvie sneered, “he has become the real cancer cell of the universe—constantly replicating, spreading, and devouring the normal structure of reality.”
"Do you think those cyborgs are all his subordinates? No, they are all part of him, you can see them as his clones. What he wants to create is a universe where all universes belong to him."
Sylvie clearly knows a lot about Ultron, possibly because of her connection with Loki, the god of the story, and has learned about most of the characters in the multiverse.
Thor seemed to understand, but unable to express his opinion, he could only continue to stare wide-eyed.
Doctor Strange's expression turned grave: "If... if the intelligent Tony we knew were still around, perhaps we could find a way to fight science with science..."
His tone clearly revealed that, when faced with a technological creation of Ultron's caliber, even his prized magic seemed somewhat inadequate.
“It’s pointless. Ultron’s current program is too advanced. Other artificial intelligences will just be absorbed by Ultron as nourishment,” Morgan Stark suddenly corrected.
Industry specializing in surgery.
Medical doctors certainly can't match the scientific knowledge of their families in this area.
“Is there nothing I can do…” Doctor Strange fell silent. He instinctively gripped the Eye of Agamotto on his chest, feeling a surge of helplessness and fear deep within him.
"Can magic... counter this level of technology?" he muttered to himself.
Sylvie glanced at him: "You don't need to fight him with magic; you need to use rules that are superior to his."
"What is that?" Doctor Strange pressed.
Sylvie looked up.
However, there was no direct answer.
He could only gaze at Ian, who was still battling the Time Monster in the distance.
The voice is deep.
“That boy—Ian Kent. What he’s hiding must not fall into Ultron’s hands. Otherwise, no one can stop his ambition.”
Perhaps this is what is meant by a higher rule.
"What is Ian Kent hiding?" Doctor Strange and Thor both looked puzzled. What could that seemingly inhuman evil god possibly have hidden that would be powerful enough to fight Ultron?
Ian himself was being chased all over the place by a monster.
“The specific situation is very complicated. You have lost some of your memories, so it’s impossible for you to understand how absurd the current situation is.” Sylvie organized her thoughts and tried to explain in the simplest way possible: “Simply put… he has hidden the Creator somewhere.”
Doctor Strange: "???"
Thor (eyes): "!!!"
"……What?!"
Doctor Strange, who was caught by the robotic arm, almost jumped up without touching the ground.
"The Creator? You mean... God? The Creator God? The origin of the universe?" He couldn't believe it. "That kind of being... can be 'hidden'?"
He genuinely found it absurd, outrageous, and unbelievable.
Doctor Strange's mind raced, and an absurd image flashed through his mind.
"Could it be... that long ago, Ian was actually a demon god who transcended dimensions, defeated the creator, and seized control of the universe? So everything now is the result of his reshaping?" He was quite startled by this idea and was almost convinced, but was interrupted by a glare from Sylvie.
“You have a bit too much of an imagination.” She ignored Doctor Strange and looked up at Morgan, who was focused on piloting the armor with Saturday.
Loki's voice held a last glimmer of hope: "Morgan, Ian Kent seems to be like these heroes, forgetting everything."
“Based on what Loki told me, you are Ian Kent’s goddaughter, and he is your godfather. You should know his… well… special habits better than anyone else. Perhaps you know where he usually hides the most important things that he absolutely cannot lose?”
Sylvie's voice carried an extremely serious tone.
"Um, well."
Upon hearing this, Morgan, while maneuvering his armor to narrowly avoid a suddenly appearing spatial rift with an extremely risky low-altitude glide, actually managed to get a moment's attention and think about it.
Under Sylvie's expectant gaze, she gave a thoughtful but uncertain response.
"Um...maybe it's inside his...stomach?"
Morgan even used reduplication.
"??????" Sylvie's eyes instantly turned extremely annoyed, feeling that Morgan Stark simply didn't understand the situation. Was this the time to be acting cute and joking?
Morgan seemed to realize that his answer was too shocking, and quickly explained, "I'm not trying to be cute! I'm quoting Uncle Ian!"
“He always says, ‘The safest place in the world is my stomach,’ ‘No bank safe or extradimensional bag is as reliable as my digestive system,’ ‘What you eat is what’s truly yours.’ So he generally thinks that the most important things might actually be… um… temporarily stored there.”
Morgan felt wronged, as this was an answer she had come up with after much thought and considerable mental effort, and she felt it was definitely the most likely scenario.
Even Thor and Doctor Strange, after considering Ian's appendix modification and gallbladder expansion techniques, began to understand Morgan's idea.
however.
Sylvie, who knew very little about Ian, did not think so.
"To...to eat the Creator...and hide him inside your own stomach?" What kind of insane and powerful digestive system would one need to come up with such an idea?
Moreover, if Ian really did such a thing, how could he still be being chased by a time monster? Shouldn't he have already transformed into a creator god or exploded due to indigestion? Sylvie thought she was a person with common sense, but the superheroes around her were all more lacking in common sense than the last.
"So this is what superheroes are like after they've lost their heroic spirit... How are they any different from Homelander's little business syndicate?" Sylvie actually remembered the Merge Universe.
She sighed silently.
“If you can’t even find a reliable direction, I don’t think I could possibly guess what that guy’s thought process is.” Sylvie felt her temples throbbing; she was completely at a loss. Ian Kent himself was the biggest paradox and enigma.
According to her memory.
I don't remember this person ever existing in the multiverse.
of course.
To reiterate, Sylvie trusts Loki. If Loki says Ian existed, then Ian did exist; she simply doesn't know what happened to him that caused him to lose his memories and powers.
"It seems that in the end, Ian will have to 'remember' it himself. Whatever that thing is or where it is, the OAA must be within Ian himself."
Sylvie sorted out this thought.
“Go find Ian!” she said decisively to Morgan.
“That’s exactly what I was thinking too!” Morgan replied, his armor accelerating rapidly, trailing a long tail of flame as it shot towards the edge of the chaotic zone like a sharp sword.
Finally, they broke through the last chaotic energy vortex and spacetime fragments, and the scene before them opened up—although still dilapidated and desolate, the rules were much more stable.
They arrived at the true end of time.
Beneath my feet lies an endless junkyard, a collection of waste from various eras, civilizations, and dimensions. In the distance, I can see strange objects, fresh from the chaotic realm and judged by time, crashing to the ground like meteorites, sending up clouds of dust and debris.
Meanwhile, on a relatively flat "garbage plain" not far away, that familiar figure was still engaged in a seemingly endless, comical, and dangerous struggle with that enormous time monster.
One wants to crawl into the other's belly, while the other wants to trap the other inside a Poké Ball that it has made by hand. It is indeed a battle of equal strength.
"That was a thrilling high-speed flight."
Morgan piloted his armor, dragging four "humanoid accessories," and landed with great difficulty on the soft and strange surface of the garbage heap at the end of time, stirring up a cloud of dust.
Her metal boots echoed dully as she stepped on the mountain of cosmic debris.
All around me is time garbage.
Broken temple pillars leaned precariously among the rusted wreckage of the spaceship, and the fractured throne was covered with moss of time, as if the entire space was silently decaying.
"This is?"
Doctor Strange had barely steadied himself when his gaze suddenly sharpened—not far in front of him, a massive, rusty truck lay half-buried in ashes-like dust. The front was twisted, the windshield shattered, and the tires were carbonized, but the familiar red paint and license plate made his pupils shrink.
“This…this is impossible…” he muttered to himself, his voice filled with astonishment. “This is…the truck that hit me back then? Why would a truck be here?”
Morgan Stark quickly activated the armor's scanning system, and light patterns scrolled rapidly before her eyes: "Detection in progress... Energy residue analysis complete. This vehicle... was indeed forcibly stripped from Earth's 2016 timeline and sent to the end of time."
"Why?" Doctor Strange's voice was deep. "How did it get here? Is this also something that interferes with the timeline?"
Morgan frowned: "In theory, any object that TVA determines to be 'time anomaly' should be sent here for destruction. But this car... it should just be the tool used in a regular traffic accident and shouldn't be listed as an 'object of adjudication'."
Sylvie stood to the side, her gaze now deep and intense. The female Loki stared at the truck, as if she could see through it some hidden truth.
"Don't you understand?" she said slowly. "This is not an accident."
“What doesn’t?” Morgan asked.
“The car accident that took away his life was not accidental.” Sylvie’s voice was very low. “If that truck hadn’t hit Dr. Strange, he wouldn’t have lost the fine motor skills in his hands; if he hadn’t lost his hands, he wouldn’t have given up surgery.”
"By the same logic, if he hadn't set foot on the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, he wouldn't have met the Ancient One; if he hadn't become the Sorcerer Supreme..."
She paused, then looked directly at Doctor Strange: "You wouldn't exist now."
The air solidified instantly.
Doctor Strange's face turned from white to green, then from green to red, as if he had been struck by lightning.
He stumbled back a step, his voice almost cracking: "What?! I was hit...it was all arranged by Gu Yi?! That old bastard Gu Yi?!"
Doctor Strange's focus is clearly somewhat problematic.
He practically shouted it out, his voice distorted.
He had always believed the car accident was an unfortunate accident, a cruel twist of fate, and that the Ancient One was his guiding light in the darkness. Now, however, someone was telling him that this tragedy that changed his life might very well have been orchestrated by his seemingly detached mentor?!
Who can stand this!
"How could he?! How dare he?! To ruin my life for the position of Sorcerer Supreme?!" Doctor Strange trembled with rage.
He started rambling incoherently, his respect for the Ancient One shattering instantly.
Sylvie was taken aback by Doctor Strange's intense reaction.
“The Ancient One is the guardian of time,” Sylvie said calmly. “He knows you need to become a mage. And sometimes, fate needs a little ‘push’.”
The teammates who stay with Loki, the god of the story, are those with high ideological awareness.
"Push?!" Doctor Strange sneered. "Run me over with a truck?! That's murder! That's manipulation! That's...that's..." He was so angry he couldn't speak, he could only point at the wrecked truck, his fingers trembling.
Morgan added in a low voice.
“The TVA files contain the concept of ‘anchor points.’ Certain events, no matter how small, must happen, otherwise the timeline will collapse. That car accident… might be your ‘anchor point.’” Stark’s daughter also possesses a unique understanding of how the universe works that is beyond the reach of ordinary people.
Doctor Strange slumped to the ground, his eyes unfocused. He had spent his life trying to control his destiny, but in the end, it turned out that his fate had been arranged perfectly from the very beginning.
"So... I never had a choice?" he murmured, raising his hand to look at the ring on his hand. Seeing this, Sylvie stepped forward and impatiently slammed Doctor Strange's hand.
"Hey, just talk, why did you hit my hand?"
Doctor Strange was also quite annoyed.
"Your sadness and distress are not the point! The point is what just happened!" Sylvie didn't want to have to worry about someone with a fragile heart at this time.
She pointed to the truck, her tone more serious than ever before: "It looks like Ultron has begun his revenge! He's not just hunting us down, he's interfering with the timeline of this one and only universe! He's trying to wipe out all the superheroes who might threaten him at the source! Or maybe worse..."
Sylvie's voice was even lower, tinged with coldness: "He may be using his own mechanical clone to quietly replace you in the timeline!"
These words were like ice water poured over a doctor's head, instantly extinguishing the anger Doctor Strange felt over the Ancient One's "cover-up," leaving only a chilling feeling.
Eradicate it at its source? Replace it with a mechanical clone?
The thought that a cold, perfect copy of Ultron might be living on his face filled Doctor Strange with intense nausea and fear.
"What?!" Doctor Strange jumped to his feet. "You mean, he'll become another me? Another Thor? Another Captain America?"
“Yes,” Sylvie nodded, “a ‘perfect version’ completely under his control. No weaknesses, no emotions, only absolute order.”
Doctor Strange felt a chill run down his spine and straight to his head.
"What are you waiting for?!"
Doctor Strange was horrified and forgot all about scolding the Ancient One. He shouted anxiously, "Go find Ian right now! He's the Great Evil God; he definitely has the power to fight that mechanical monster!"
Doctor Strange, that incompetent follower, finally remembered his master. Morgan nodded, and the armor released nanochains, completely releasing the restraints on Thor.
Upon gaining his freedom, Thor did not leap up and charge. Instead, he remained silent, lay on the ground, buried his face in the garbage, and let out a deep, frustrated sigh.
"Thor?!" Doctor Strange urged, "Get up! Ian needs backup!"
Thor slowly raised his head, tears welling in his eyes: "I don't have... a hammer."
"what?"
Doctor Strange was dumbfounded.
Thor's voice came through, muffled and filled with disappointment.
“My hammer… Mjolnir… was crushed by that mechanical monster… Without my hammer, how can I fight? I can’t even protect my father…” Odin’s disappearance again and the destruction of his weapon seemed to have dealt a huge blow to the god of thunder.
He also began to suffer from depression.
Yimou~
Doctor Strange wanted to say something more.
But then the usually taciturn Captain America spoke up: "My shield... was taken away too. The TVA said it was an 'abnormal item' and hasn't been returned yet."
Without his shield, Captain America's fighting power is indeed greatly reduced. Doctor Strange looked at this "Hammer God" and the "Shield King" and felt dizzy.
"So... our two combatants are now... Hammer God without hammer, Shield King without shield? That's your true form?" He rubbed his forehead, almost collapsing.
As the most normal of the heroes of this era, Doctor Strange was exhausted. He could only turn his hopeful gaze to the seemingly more decisive Sylvie and the technologically advanced Morgan.
"What do we do now?"
Doctor Strange's voice sounded uncomfortable.
“As expected, Ultron stole your heroic hearts.” Sylvie didn’t answer, but suddenly seemed to think of something and murmured thoughtfully.
at this time.
Morgan was nervously testing the energy readings in the area where Ian and the time monster Elios were locked in battle, using instruments mounted on his armor. The screen was filled with chaotic red warnings. The energy field there was extremely unstable, and even space itself was distorted. Not to mention getting close, even a ranged attack could trigger unpredictable chain reactions.
Sylvie looked at the devastated battlefield, her brow furrowed. She called out to Morgan, "Use your equipment! Think of something! Can we temporarily suppress or disrupt that time monster?"
Morgan shook his head helplessly, his little face full of distress: "Science isn't omnipotent... I only took some emergency supplies and the 'treasure chest' my dad left me with me when I went out... Who knew my first solo adventure would be so exciting, going straight into a cosmic-level BOSS and a time monster..."
She sighed, her tone even carrying a hint of world-weariness beyond her years, "Sure enough, Uncle Ian was right before. When children go out, they have to carry 99,999 trump cards with them, ready to overturn the table at any time... Alas, I was still too young and too naive."
Seeing that even the only big brother in the group was about to become depressed.
Doctor Strange rushed forward.
"So science can actually do it, right? You just didn't bring enough?" Doctor Strange caught the key information and immediately raised his hand wearing the sling ring, suggesting, "Then we can go back to your 'cozy' little house to replenish our equipment? It's in that universe full of zombies."
He remembered Morgan mentioning the laboratory her father had left her.
Morgan has not yet answered.
Sylvie immediately rejected the idea.
"Precise teleportation across the universe and time is too costly! Moreover, Ultron may have already locked onto us, and another large-scale space jump would be tantamount to exposing our coordinates!"
She remained cautious, after all, she had dealt with quite a few big bosses in the previous cosmic era.
"Then what do you suggest we do?!" Doctor Strange, who had only been in the industry for less than two and a half years and lacked experience, asked somewhat irritably, feeling that the current situation was somewhat dead end.
"This... um." Sylvie was speechless. She really couldn't come up with any good ideas that would work immediately. The current situation was vastly different from the action plan she had previously learned about. Facing a creature of the Time Monster's caliber, she was simply like a skilled cook without ingredients.
"Looks like you don't have any good ideas either," Doctor Strange sneered. Many people don't know that he's the most sarcastic of the Avengers.
Just when everyone was at a loss and the atmosphere reached a stalemate.
"Don't panic~ I'm here~ You still have me~" A confident, even slightly smug voice suddenly came from the pile of garbage at their feet.
Plop!
A pile of scrap metal and plastic was pushed aside, and a red and black figure emerged like a groundhog. It was Deadpool, who had been slapped away by Ultron earlier!
Although he was covered in dirt, grease, and some kind of slime, he looked... completely unharmed? Even more absurdly, he had a makeshift swaddle made from some tattered rag he'd found somewhere, and inside it was baby Odin! Odin had a dirty pacifier in his mouth.
of course.
The Deadpool doesn't mistreat itself.
Deadpool himself also has two pacifiers in his mouth, one more than Odin, which explains why his speech is a bit slurred.
"Father!"
Upon seeing this scene, Thor immediately leaped to his feet, rushed forward, and carefully yet forcefully snatched Odin from Deadpool's chest.
"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, your son has saved you." Overjoyed, tears and snot streamed down his face as he tightly embraced Odin, keeping a wary eye on Deadpool.
Deadpool did not resist the challenge to Thor's capture; he even waved it off dismissively.
"Tsk, what's the point of fighting over him? He's not your own child, it's no fun taking him along, his crying is so annoying." As he spoke, Deadpool even stomped his feet on the spot, probably something he learned from Journey to the West. He wanted to say a few more words about Odin being a stupid kid, but was interrupted by an impatient Sylvie.
"You say you have a way? What way?" Sylvie asked anxiously. Now, no possibility could be overlooked, even if the person standing in front of her was the most unreliable person in the universe... the second most unreliable person in the universe.
Deadpool heard this.
There was no direct answer.
Instead, she deliberately lifted her mask to reveal half of her face, which bore burn scars but was trying to put on a "wicked and arrogant" expression, and winked at everyone.
The effect was quite terrifying.
"Ta-da! Look what this is!" He proudly pulled out a very old-fashioned, even slightly rusty... TV remote from his back pocket.
"I am Deadpool! Just now, when that tin can Ultron was beating me up, I casually stole the controller he used to operate that big guy outside, Helios!"
He brandished the remote control, brimming with confidence, "Just press a button and that big guy will immediately lie on the ground, exposing his belly, so you can rub it all you want!"
"How about that? Isn't it amazing?" Under the skeptical gazes of the crowd, Deadpool confidently pressed the largest red button on the remote control.
however.
The wind still howls.
Nothing happened.
In the distance, Ian was still engaged in a passionate hand-to-hand combat with Elios.
"I handcrafted this Poké Ball, it's made with pure dedication, how is it not a Master Ball? Damn it! Get it in here!" Ian's furious curses and roars were incessant.
Upon seeing this, Deadpool's smile froze for a moment.
"Uh...maybe it's not this button?" he muttered, pressing all the buttons on the remote control, from power to volume up and down to channel switching!
Still... nothing happened.
The scene was completely silent. Only the sound of the wind in the junkyard and the distant sounds of fighting could be heard.
"Is it possible that it really is just a regular remote control?" Everyone stared at Deadpool as if he were an idiot.
"Nonsense! Ultron doesn't need to watch TV! He can play paid porn movies in his head by himself! I envy him so much!" Deadpool felt he had lost face and slammed the remote control on the ground—of course, his anger didn't last long, and he picked it up again with a pained expression and blew off the dust.
“Deadpool never makes a mistake! How could I possibly steal the wrong thing?! If the controller isn’t working, there’s only one possibility!” He turned around abruptly, pointed to the intense battlefield in the distance, and declared loudly in a resolute and unquestionable tone: “That guy is definitely not Elios!”
Deadpool, at least, believed his own judgment.
Everyone: "…………"
No one present thought this statement was even slightly plausible.
Even baby Odin seemed to spit out the pacifier in disgust.
Deadpool, seeing the "you're a fool" looks on everyone's faces and his completely broken "remote control," felt utterly humiliated. But who was Deadpool? How could he only have one solution?
"Alright, alright! Looks like you won't learn until you're faced with the truth! No problem! Deadpool has a backup plan! A more awesome, more exciting, and absolutely problem-solving Plan B!"
Deadpool stood with his hands on his hips, looking like he was saying, "You've forced me to use my ultimate move," under the strange gazes of everyone, including Odin, who was being held in Thor's arms and spitting out a pacifier.
Deadpool reached into his crotch, which seemed to connect to another dimension, and started rummaging around as if he were digging in a small garden.
After some fumbling, the guy pulled out a... basketball-sized, silver-white metal box with complex fluid patterns on its surface.
This box looks incredibly high-tech, a stark contrast to the old-fashioned remote control we had before.
"Look closely, mortals!" Deadpool held up the box as if displaying a treasure. "This is something I smuggled from Ultron's private vault—the prototype of the Ultimate Cradle of Life! According to the manual, no living being can refuse to enter its embrace!"
"There must be the smell of a mother's womb in there!" he said, his words flowing like a river. Before anyone could process this outrageous information, he mustered all his strength and, like a shot putter, hurled the "ultimate cradle of life" towards the direction where Ian and the Time Monster were locked in battle!
"Go, Mom of Ultron! Show me your magic!"
Deadpool shouted expectantly.
He has a lot of influence.
then……
Then there is no more.
The so-called "Cradle of Ultimate Life" had just flown into the edge of the raging energy field created by Ian's battle with the Time Monster, a field that had even shattered space itself, when it was crushed, decomposed, and absorbed by the extremely chaotic energy currents that were capable of tearing apart the laws of nature.
It was directly transformed into a negligible amount of nourishment for the Time Monster.
Not a sound was made.
"Fuck you! Ultron is no good! He learns nothing but counterfeit goods!" Deadpool cursed as he turned around, only to see the same, even more intense, expressions of disbelief from the crowd behind him, as if they were looking at an idiot, with a hint of suspicion that he might be a spy sent by the other side.
Deadpool, somewhat annoyed by the gaze, put his hands on his hips and sighed helplessly: "There's no other way! It seems that conventional methods won't work against monsters of this level! In that case, we'll have to use the ultimate, oldest, but also the most effective method!"
With a "whoosh," he drew the two iconic steel knives from his back, their blades gleaming coldly in the eerie light at the end of time.
"quick!"
Deadpool pointed the knife at the group, his tone becoming "serious," "Who among you is closest to that guy? Has the deepest bond? Is it a life-or-death friendship? Come forward and let me kill him a couple of times!"
Everyone: "???"
Deadpool explained in all seriousness: "Believe me! This is a universal law! As long as someone is sacrificed, especially the one you're closest to, that guy will immediately sense it and then unleash a barrage of lines like 'Bonds!' 'Friendship!' 'My turn to draw cards!'!"
"My strength will increase by tens of thousands! Killing the BOSS will be a piece of cake! That's how the script is written!" As he spoke, he scanned Doctor Strange, Captain America, Thor, Sylvie, and even Morgan Stuart with a malicious look, as if he was choosing which sacrifice would be the most effective.
Odin was not chosen.
The main reason is that Deadpool knows that babies won't pass censorship and are very difficult to kill.
"No way, are you an idiot?!" Seeing this, everyone, with perfect understanding, took a step back in unison! Even Morgan manipulated his armor to move back slightly by half an inch!
Seeing this, Deadpool was not angry at all, but became even more "excited": "Good! Good! You are all so conscious! You are all willing to sacrifice yourselves for the world, right? Great! So great! Then let's kill you all! Kill you all! That guy will definitely get an unprecedented big seed! Directly level up!"
Deadpool then began to "sharpen" his knives with a practiced air, merely rubbing the backs of the blades together, but he did it with great flair. He brandished his twin knives, poised to charge.
However, in this chaotic and tumultuous moment—in the distance, Ian Kent, who was engaged in a fierce struggle with the time monster Elios, suddenly felt a strange burning sensation coming from the palm of his hand, which was pressed against Elios's energy tentacles! It was as if something was being etched onto it!
"My hand is unclean after touching this guy, and I'm going to get pregnant?" Ian was shocked and subconsciously glanced at it. He saw that a mysterious mark, which was extremely complex and constantly changing, appeared on the skin of his palm, as if it were made up of countless stars and geometric symbols!
At this moment, the mark is emitting a strong, flickering light, as if it is resonating strongly with something!
"What the hell is this?"
Ian was stunned, having no recollection of ever getting such a tattoo. Before he could even figure it out, the brand on his palm suddenly unleashed an unprecedented suction force!
The time monster, which had been incredibly violent and focused solely on burrowing into Ian's abdomen, suddenly let out a long cry that was neither pain nor anger, but rather carried a strange sense of liberation and return!
Then, something astonishing happened—Elios's enormous body, made of abandoned spacetime energy, began to melt like snow exposed to sunlight.
Starting from the point of contact with Ian's palm, it rapidly "melted" and decomposed! But it did not dissipate; instead, it transformed into countless pure, shimmering, emerald-green energy "silks" that flowed gently and continuously into the mysterious mark on Ian's palm, like rivers flowing into the sea!
This process was faster than anyone could have imagined! In just a few breaths, the terrifying monster Elios, capable of devouring timelines, vanished completely!
They were all sucked into Ian's palm!
"No, that's it?" Ian hovered in mid-air, his black and red mimicry armor slowly returning to calm, and his four arms retracting. He looked down at his palm; the mark, after absorbing Elios, gradually faded in light and eventually disappeared completely as if it had never existed.
A "dragon" like a stream of air swayed within the runes.
"My hand really looks like a placenta!"
Ian realized something too, his eyes widening in disbelief, his medical knowledge severely lacking. He sensed some inexplicable changes within himself, an unprecedented...sense of fullness and a certain sense of connection? But the "system" within him remained unusually silent, offering no notifications or attribute enhancements.
It was eerily quiet.
"Is this... that familiar feeling of increased global recognition?"
