Chapter 158 God is complex

Scarlett tried to outsmart Manjusha by comparing a one-dollar bill with Manjusha's hundred-dollar bill. The moment she pulled out the money, Manjusha was speechless.

With hundreds of eyes watching from the dance floor, agreeing would be a loss for her, but refusing would make her seem like she lacked courage.

Manchusa knew that Scarlett was putting her on a pedestal, and for the sake of her pride, she decided to give it her all.

She's the owner of Langton Street; she can't lose that kind of boldness!

With a slight smile, just as she was about to speak, Haiper walked onto the stage and whispered a few words in a low voice.

She raised an eyebrow and looked at Scarlett.

His disdainful gaze lingered on Scarlett, moving back and forth, but the smile on his lips gradually turned cautious because of Heper's words. He rolled his eyes and nodded, saying, "Okay, I understand."

Manchusa stood up, walked over to Scarlett's side, looked at the one-dollar bill in her hand, randomly pulled one out, and smiled, "Although I don't know what methods you used to get Rachel to speak for you, I listen to my sister the most. So, tell me, who do you want to redeem?"

"Sevier".

"Sevier?"

Manchusa raised an eyebrow and made a regretful expression. "I'm so sorry, I just threw him into Lake Nega. You might be able to retrieve him if you go now."

Scarlett's heart sank, a cold glint flashed in her eyes, she glanced at Mantua, suppressed all her resentment, and calmly asked, "Can you take me with you?"

Manchusa admired the calmness in Scarlett's eyes and smiled, "Of course."

Manchusa immediately arranged for a car to take Scarlett to Lake Nega.

Lake Nega is very large and its waters are so deep that the bottom cannot be seen. It is nighttime now, so it will be difficult to retrieve either a corpse or a living person.

Standing by the lake, the moonlight poured down, illuminating the entire lake surface, stretching as far as the eye could see.

Manchusa tapped the sand and pebbles by the lake with the tip of her shoe and said, "I ordered someone to throw him off from this spot. Good luck."

She promised Rachel she would release Scarlett, but didn't promise to help find her. Sending Scarlett here was already more than enough.

Scarlett stared at the lake, her eyes flickering slightly. "Thank you."

"besides."

She turned around and, by the moonlight, looked into Mantua's eyes. "Give me Sevier's indenture."

Manchusa's long, thick eyelashes fluttered slightly as she smiled and tossed out the contract of servitude.

[Task 3: Please take your beastman with you in a reasonable manner. (6/8)]
"thump!"

Manchusa had only taken two steps when she heard the sound of splashing water behind her. She turned around and saw that Scarlett was gone, and the calm lake surface was now covered with ripples.

She smiled casually. "This female is really interesting."

……

……

The lake water was fishy and smelly, making it impossible for Scarlett to open her eyes. She held her breath, swam to a dark spot, changed into her wetsuit, put on her goggles, and went back into the water.

She opened the light screen to locate Sevier.

Fortunately, the two were not far apart.

Scarlett swam to the location indicated by the light, but didn't see Saviour, so she swam further down and dived directly to the bottom of the lake.

Sure enough, I saw Sevilla.

His eyes were tightly closed, his lips were pressed together, his face was as pale as paper, and he was completely unconscious.

His hands and feet were bound to huge rocks, and his body floated slightly, swaying with the flowing water at the bottom of the lake, like a rag doll that had been abandoned by its owner and was about to break.

Scarlett swam to Saviour, cut the rope with her knife, and as she lifted him up to swim, her foot tripped on another rope.

I almost got dragged down.

She looked down.

The rope looked quite old, covered in signs of decay, and mostly broken, with only a thin, tangled thread remaining in the middle.

Scarlett accidentally tugged at her foot, and the thing tied with the rope was pulled out and exposed to her view.

A stark white bone.

It was covered with dense teeth marks.

The moment she saw it clearly, Scarlett felt a jolt of electricity run down her spine, and her mind went blank for a few seconds.

Without lingering, she quickly led Sevier away from there.

……

……

On the shore of Lake Nega. A cold wind is blowing.

As the night grew darker, the chill intensified, sweeping across every inch of the land.

Scarlett laid Sevilla flat on the ground and checked his breathing and heartbeat.

The worst has happened: Sevia has stopped breathing and her heart has stopped beating!

Scarlett quickly pried open his mouth to check if his nose and mouth were blocked by any foreign objects. After confirming that there were none, she began to perform CPR.

She pressed down while calling out to Saviour.

But she wasn't sure if the person in the video was Sevier, and it would be terrible if she called the wrong name.

Unlike Saviola, Tyronn has been courting disaster!

If they can't muster the will to survive at this point, they're both doomed.

After much deliberation, Scarlett decided to treat the person in front of her as Tyrion.

This is the method with the least risk.

"Tyron! Tyron! Wake up! You have to wake up!"

"Didn't Holster say you were the god of the sea? How could you drown! Water is your territory; you'd be laughed at if people found out!"

"Tyron!"

"Tyron!"

Scarlett called out Tyron's name.

I was anxious and nervous.

It was as if she was genuinely afraid of losing him.

Thirty CPRs and two artificial respirations were performed, relentlessly prying away the boulder that was crushing Tyron's life.

"Tyron!"

"You must wake up!"

"If you die here, the light screen will identify you as Sylvia, and then there will truly only be Sylvia in this world, and no more Tyrion."

"I promise you, after the competition, I will definitely give you a proper title! I'll let the whole galaxy know of your existence, okay?"

Tyron's eyes were tightly closed, offering no response, like someone who had been dead for a long time in an ice coffin, whose soul had long since left the body.

But as Scarlett bent down to give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation again, his hand suddenly rose and gripped the back of her neck.

His eyes suddenly opened.

His deep blue eyes, now as dark as a whirlpool, gripped Scarlett tightly. "Are you telling the truth?"

Scarlett paused, her eyes flickering, whether out of guilt or something else, she didn't dare to look Tyron in the eye.

He braced himself on the ground and slowly raised his body, trying to get a little further away from Tyron.

Tyron noticed her actions, and with a forceful pull, he grabbed the back of her head and pressed her down.

He gently kissed Scarlett's cool lips, smiled, and said nothing.

……

……

Francis Clinic.

Scarlett settled Tyron in and then left. Any questions or things to say could be discussed once everyone was present.

As soon as she leaves.

Brian leaned closer, stared at Tyron's pale face for a few moments, and asked curiously, "Are you Saviour?"

Tyron grinned, his smile carrying a hint of wickedness that looked quite eerie.

It's obvious without even needing an answer that this person isn't Saviola.

Brian moved away from him.

Riley cut an orange, gave half to Tyronn, and the other half to Brian.

Sitting on the edge of Tyron's bed, wiping the water stains off the fruit knife with a handkerchief, he asked casually, "God, it seems, doesn't need mental power, right?"

Tyron took a bite of the orange and looked up at him.
