Chapter 152 Brian, Fight!
Scarlett took the money and went downstairs.

The fire was almost extinguished, with only a few sparks still flickering. A splash of water would extinguish the sparks, so it wouldn't do much good.

A group of people were carrying buckets and finishing up the work.

Scarlett spotted Harrison immediately.

After wiping the dust off his face, his clean-looking face was revealed, revealing a delicate and scholarly appearance.

Scarlett walked over and greeted him, "Harrison."

Harrison turned his head and immediately laughed. "Scarlett. How did your talk with my great-grandfather go? Did he give you any money?"

Scarlett waved the money in her hand. "Yes, there's plenty."

"That's good."

Harrison said, "Thank you for saving me. If it weren't for you, I might have been burned to death, and the theater would have suffered huge losses."

When Harrison took Scarlett upstairs earlier, she told Scarlett about how she accidentally saved someone.

She waved her hand modestly: "It's nothing, just a small favor."

"Anyway, I still want to thank you. If there's anything I can help you with in the future, remember to let me know, and I'll definitely help you."

"I do have something I'd like to ask you for help with."

"what's up?"

“I want to ransom Riley and Brian.”

Upon hearing this, Harrison smiled and said, "Come on, I'll take you there now."

The two walked through a magnificent golden corridor and arrived at the backstage of the banquet hall. Before they even got close, they heard the sound of glass breaking on the floor.

Immediately afterward, a fierce shout rang out: "Did you two good-for-nothings start this fire today? How could it suddenly catch fire! It must be you! I'll chop you both up today!"

Scarlett's expression hardened, and she pushed open the door first, ignoring Harrison.

fortunately.

The backstage door was almost completely burned and couldn't be locked; it opened with a push.

Scarlett went inside.

Seeing Lucas grabbing Brian by the collar, he raised his hand to hit him.

She rushed over to Lucas in a few quick steps, kicked him in the shoulder, and pushed him away from Brian.

Someone entered from backstage, catching Lucas off guard. He looked up and saw it was someone unrelated. His eyes widened, and he arrogantly roared, "Who are you? You dare kick me? You don't want to live anymore!"

Although the person in front of him was female, this was his territory, and he had the right to be arrogant.

Scarlett raised her chin, her sharp gaze sweeping across Lucas's face. "Whether I live or not is none of your business, but whether you die or not depends on my mood!"

Scarlett stomped on Lucas's chest, then turned to Brian and asked, "Brian, did he bully you?"

"Yes!"

Brian got up from the ground, held his injured face up to Scarlett, and pointed to the bloody handprint, saying, "He hit me, and more than once."

Upon hearing this, Scarlett immediately ground her shoe into Lucas's chest.

She was wearing pointed leather shoes, which were already painful against his chest, and now they were grinding against him with even more force, making Lucas feel like he was going to ascend to heaven, and he kept screaming and yelling.

"Who are you? How dare you treat me like this? Are you looking for death?!"

"Guards! Guards! Drag her out of here!"

"Help! Someone, come here!!!"

His shouts attracted the bodyguards from next door.

Harrison raised his hand to stop the bodyguards from entering, and watched to see how Scarlett would deal with Lucas.

This must be the first time she and Brian have met. Are they really that close?
Scarlett showed no mercy, ignoring Lucas's cries of pain, she dragged him to the middle of the backstage area and said to Brian, "Brian, hit him!"

Brian had been wanting revenge for a long time, and now that Scarlett had come to his aid, he was ecstatic and rolled up his sleeves, ready to beat up Lucas.

Lucas continued to glare, threatening, "You dare! Don't forget, your indenture is still in my hands. If you dare hit me, I'll sell you to the black market as a slave! I'll make sure you never see the sunlight again, and torture you..."

Before he could finish speaking, Scarlett tossed down a wad of cash and said with a grin, "Sorry, from now on, Brian is mine."

"Brian, fire!"

Brian's character is actually weak and helpless, but he's too excited right now to care, and he throws a punch at Lucas's face.

He wanted to vent his anger.

Scarlett turned her head and saw Riley lying on the side. His face was covered with wounds, and his clothes were torn in several places with blood dripping from the edges. It was clear that he was more seriously injured than Brian.

Scarlett composed herself and helped Riley up. "Riley, are you alright?"

Riley shook his head and forced a smile. "Your Highness... I'm fine."

Scarlett took his arm and asked in a low voice, "Do you want revenge?"

Riley paused, looking at the excited Brian and his constantly waving fists.

He never indulged himself and always followed the rules. He could not be as carefree as Brian.

He had neither confidence nor any trump cards.

He cannot break the rules of the stage.

Riley paused for a few seconds, lowered his eyes, and was about to shake his head in refusal when his palm suddenly felt a warmth.

Scarlett took his hand and quietly handed him something.

Scarlett looked at him, smiled mischievously, stood on tiptoe, and whispered in his ear, "This is a power pill. After taking it, you'll replenish your strength and hit people harder."

Riley's heart trembled violently.

His usual composure, self-control, and discipline all cracked at this moment, as desire took root and sprouted like a seed, taking over all his reason.

He gripped the pill in his hand and looked at Scarlett.

Her slightly upturned peach blossom eyes, even with dust on them, still shone brightly, carrying a hint of foxy cunning, as she looked at him with a smile.

So he smiled, quietly swallowed the pill, and punched Lucas on the head.

Lucas was beaten so badly he saw stars, cried out in pain, and begged for mercy.

Scarlett walked up to Harrison and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I can be a bit impulsive sometimes. I can't stand seeing people fight. I know that man is one of yours. Don't worry, I will definitely pay for the medical expenses."

Harrison paused for a moment, then chuckled: "It's alright, our Ya'an Theatre can afford this medical expense. No need to pay, do whatever you want."

It's okay if you kill him.

They have nothing but a lot of people.

Getting back to the main point, Scarlett then suggested taking Riley and Brian with her.

Harrison smiled and said, "Alright, I'll give you their indentures."

Riley and Brian are good-looking, tall, and have good physiques. They are classified as first-class males by the Ya'an Theater and are auctioned for 2000 Star Coins.

Harrison refused to accept the money and gave it directly to Scarlett, saying it was to repay Scarlett for saving his life.

Scarlett feigned reluctance twice, then accepted it impolitely, a shrewd glint in her eyes that did not escape Harrison's notice.

Scarlett saw that Riley and Brian had almost finished fighting, so she stopped them and they left backstage together.

She had other things to do.
