Chapter 218 Tied up

Jiang Lanye's embrace was now filled with a faint, bitter scent, due to the excessive medication he had taken. It was different from the previous fragrance, but it still made her feel at ease.

She thought that even if Jiang Lanye became a sick man, she would still love him.

Song Yi closed her eyes contentedly and snuggled closer to him, but Jiang Lanye suddenly stepped back.

Song Yi bent one leg and accidentally bumped into him. Jiang Lanye groaned, his voice unusually low and husky. In the darkness, a hand precisely touched her cheek, and he warned in a low voice, "If you move again, I don't mind not sleeping all night."

She jolted awake and quickly said, "No, I still need to sleep. I won't move around."

It seemed that Jiang Lanye had really been enduring it all along. Song Yi turned over, facing away from him, thinking that maybe this would make things much better. But soon after she turned her back, Jiang Lanye leaned close to her, his arm around her waist, and commanded, "Turn around, you are not allowed to turn your back to me."

Song Yi: "."

Turning it around is wrong, not turning it around is wrong, what should we do with her?

"Okay, okay, I'll turn around again. But it's a deal, neither of us is allowed to turn around again."

Jiang Lanye did not respond. Song Yi found it strange, so she opened her eyes and looked at him in the moonlight, only to find that he had already closed his eyes and fallen asleep.

Given his usual sleeping habits, how could he fall asleep so quickly?
As Song Yi watched, a sudden sense of foreboding rose in her heart. She waited a while longer until he was completely asleep before quietly slipping out of his arms and beginning to hide everything that might bind or restrict her.

Immediately afterwards, she quietly went over and stood by the dragon bed, looking at Jiang Lanye who was sleeping, feeling somewhat conflicted.

Counting the days, the Gu had indeed failed to disturb Jiang Lanye's emotions for several days. Of course, this was probably due to Jiang Lanye's strong mind, but tonight was another story.

To protect herself and him, Song Yi decisively lifted the blanket, placed his two hands together, and then wrapped them several times with the sash of her clothes.

Even so, Jiang Lanye still didn't wake up.

Song Yi became even more certain that he was truly trapped in a deep dream, and might go crazy when he woke up.

So she found a longer strap, wrapped it around his hands, and tied it tightly to the headboard, so that Jiang Lanye couldn't move.

Song Yi quietly climbed up, covered him with the blanket, and then crawled into bed to sleep.

An hour later.

Jiang Lanye's breathing suddenly intensified. Tonight's dream was still strange. He dreamed that he was dead, but his soul had not dissipated. He watched as Song Yi remarried after his death, with red candles and a lively wedding tent.

His beloved was wearing a fiery red wedding dress, and a man was holding her hand. No matter how hard Jiang Lanye tried to touch her, his hand would turn into light and disappear the moment it touched her.

The man holding his hand turned his head away with a smile.

As expected, Jiang Lanye dreamed of Lang Xiao again, and the two of them were standing together, a perfect match.

A surge of intense jealousy welled up within him, and a murderous desire roared within him.

Immediately afterwards, Jiang Lanye suddenly woke up.

I was covered in cold sweat, and my body was soaking wet, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

He was breathing heavily when he turned his head and saw Song Yi lying obediently beside him. His earlier anxiety subsided somewhat.

But his desires had also soared to unprecedented heights. Every drop of blood in his body was boiling, screaming out the deepest longings within him, compelling him to touch Song Yi.
Jiang Lanye's hand moved, and suddenly he froze.

Can't move.

He was tied up. His reason seemed to be being roasted over a flame. Normally, he would have immediately realized that Song Yi was behind it, but tonight, he was clearly out of his mind. He only felt that something was binding him, and he just wanted to break free and gain freedom.

Jiang Lanye's strength gradually increased, and Song Yi was awakened by the noise. She opened her blurry eyes and found that Jiang Lanye was indeed awake, but his current state seemed a bit off.

He seemed oblivious to the pain, letting the straps constrict his flesh tightly.

Song Yi quickly leaned closer to look at his pupils, squinting to observe them carefully; they seemed to be unfocused.

"Jiang Lanye, Jiang Lanye, can you hear me? It's me."

Song Yi called out to him urgently, trying to prevent him from struggling too much. She raised her hand and gripped his wrist tightly, trying to soothe him with a gentle voice: "Don't be afraid, don't struggle, I'm here, don't be afraid."

As she spoke, she gently stroked his body with her other hand, hoping to relax his tense muscles as soon as possible.

Jiang Lanye finally sensed Song Yi's presence; it was a scent that made him trust her.

So he obediently relaxed his body, looked at Song Yi, and said in a hoarse voice, "Why did you tie me up?"

"If I don't tie you up, you'll definitely eat me alive, given how you were just now."

He felt extremely uncomfortable all over. Looking at Song Yi, fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, and his voice became even more hoarse.

"Yiyi, I feel unwell."

"I know, I know you're in pain. Can you bear with it a little longer? Just bear with it for a while, and I'll take you to take a bath."

He let out a rapid, panting sound, which, when it reached Song Yi's ears, made her tremble all over, and half of her body went numb.

Although the timing wasn't right, the sound of Jiang Lanye's deep, hoarse breathing reminded her of the time when his body had covered hers, his hot breath and sensual moans reaching her ears.

Her cheeks flushed, but thankfully it was nighttime and not clear.

"Can you untie it?"

He felt wronged, struggled a couple more times, and pleaded softly, "This is really uncomfortable."

Song Yi began to struggle, feeling the knot in her hand, wondering if she had really tied it too tight. But when she thought that Jiang Lanye was not fully awake yet, she gritted her teeth and refused, "No, I'll untie it for you when you're fully awake."

"I am now awake."

Nonsense.

Seeing that Song Yi did not move, Jiang Lanye began to call out, "Yi Yi, baby, baby Yi Yi. I feel so uncomfortable, my darling, please let me go."

Song Yi's ears burned. Unable to bear it any longer, she covered Jiang Lanye's mouth and said fiercely, "What do you want? I already said I'd let you go in a bit, so don't shout."

Shouting like that in the middle of the night could easily lead to an accident.

Jiang Lanye's eyes were bloodshot, and he didn't struggle, just looked at her pleadingly.

Song Yi felt that she was sometimes too soft-hearted, especially when facing Jiang Lanye.

Once the rope was untied, she belatedly realized that she seemed to have done something wrong.
