Chapter 246 Lan Cangming and An'an 3
As Lan Cangming left, his silver-blue fish tail swept across the stone wall by the pool, and a loose reef made a soft clicking sound.

Su An'an caught a glimpse of the passage hidden behind the reef, and suddenly straightened up, her pink fishtail instantly tensing.

Lan Cangming paused at the prison gate: "By the way, the Sea Witch said you stole my Mind-Stabilizing Pearl."

He turned his face to the side, and moonlight shone through the cracks in the water prison ceiling onto his long eyelashes:
"But my beads have never left my side."

Su An'an looked down in shock. The blue calming bead on her wrist had been taken away by Lan Cangming at some point.

"give me back!"

Su An'an swam forward, but Lan Cangming had already closed the door and left.

That stinky mermaid! I really don't know if he's a good guy or a bad guy.

Su An'an finished the steaming seaweed paste in one gulp, then looked at the loosened reef.

I've decided to leave this awful place first.

She gritted her teeth, flicked her pink fishtail, and quickly swam out of the cage.

At the end of the corridor, Lieutenant Rhea was patrolling by.

Upon spotting the fleeing Su An'an, he brandished his eight tentacles, ready to sound the alarm.

"do not move."

Lan Cangming's voice came from the shadows, cold and deep.

Rhea froze: "Marshal, the hybrid has escaped!"

"I know."

Lan Cangming swayed her silvery-blue fishtail gently, her gaze fixed on the pink figure in the distance:
"Only by letting her go can we uncover the forces behind her."

After a moment's hesitation, Rhea finally nodded: "Yes."

Su An'an traveled at a brisk pace, her heart pounding like a drum.

She knew she was being followed, but the pursuers always seemed just short of catching her.

As they disappeared into the coral reef, the pursuers were caught up in the chaos.

When they tried to squeeze through the narrow crevice between the rocks, the pursuers were too big to fit through.

Just as she was about to be cornered, the pursuers received an urgent military order and hastily retreated.

Clearly, the fish had been releasing water all along to help her escape.

In a place where Su An'an cannot see.

Lan Cangming followed closely behind, his silver-blue fishtail drawing an elegant arc in the water, but his gaze never left the pink figure.

“Marshal, if this continues, she will escape the sea.” Leia frowned.

"Not urgent."

Lan Cangming said calmly, "She can't escape."

Mysterious underwater canyon.

Red Fang knelt before the statue of Poseidon, his sharp fingernails slicing open his wrists, black blood gushing out and seeping into the cracks in the statue's base.

"Drink, my lord!"

He laughed maniacally, his tendrils swaying excitedly behind his head: "I will use the blood of Su An'an and Lan Cangming to complete the final sacrifice!"

The dark red veins on the statue's abdomen suddenly lit up, like ignited blood vessels.

The entire canyon was shrouded in an ominous crimson hue.

The murky black crystal eyes slowly turned, locking onto the pink and silver-blue fish shadow in the distance.

Su An'an has swum to the edge of the sea.

Further ahead lies the free sea beyond the Mermaid Forbidden Zone.

But her heart suddenly clenched, as if gripped by an invisible hand.

"Ugh!" She arched her back suddenly, her pink fishtail convulsing violently.

An irresistible force pulled her, forcing her to turn around.

"Damn it."

She bit her lip to try and stay awake, but her body moved uncontrollably through the water, swimming towards the pitch-black deep-sea canyon.

"Marshal! She's headed towards Death Valley!"

Rhea's tentacles thrashed restlessly against the water.

Lan Cangming suddenly groaned, and its fish tail swayed uncontrollably as it swam towards Su An'an.

Rhea was horrified to discover that the marshal's eyes were gradually turning dark red.

He tried to catch up, but the marshal and the pink mermaid had already vanished.

Su An'an felt like a fish caught in an invisible giant net, falling involuntarily and crashing heavily in front of a statue.

She looked up abruptly and was met with a bizarre fox with tentacles growing from the back of its head.

Even more terrifying was the enormous Poseidon statue behind him.

The statue's abdomen bulged, and a viscous black liquid seeped from its surface patterns, as if something was being nurtured within. "Bang!"

Lan Cangming also crashed heavily behind Su An'an, his eyes bloodshot.

Chiya looked at the two people being dragged in one after the other, his sharp nails drawing black blood from his palms.

Trembling with excitement: "Look how perfect this stage is! Let you two 'lovers' end each other with your own hands!"

He slammed his hand on the base of the statue, and the dark red veins instantly swelled up, coiling around Lan Cangming's limbs like venomous snakes.

"Uh!"

A painful groan escaped Lan Cangming's throat, and his blood-red eyes completely lost focus.

The ice crystals that had formed in her palm suddenly elongated, transforming into a long sword radiating coldness, pointing directly at Su An'an's heart.

Su An'an subconsciously gathered pink divine light to shield herself.

But the moment the icy blade struck the light shield, she was shaken so badly that her blood and qi surged.

That power carried the oppressive aura of the mermaid royal family, which she simply couldn't withstand.

The blade drew ever closer, and the pink light shield was already covered in cracks.

Looking at the complete unfamiliarity and murderous intent in Lan Cangming's eyes, Su An'an felt as if her heart had been pierced by an ice pick.

Just as the ice crystals were about to pierce her chest.

Deep-sea blue patterns suddenly appeared on Lan Cangming's abdomen.

That was the divine pact that Su An'an had once made.

Then, a beam of blue light suddenly flew out from his clothes; it was the Mind-Stabilizing Pearl that he had never parted from!

"Buzz!"

The blue light exploded, simultaneously piercing the minds of both individuals.

The excruciating pain swept over me like a tsunami.

A turbulent scene flashed before Su An'an's eyes.

A week ago, in the same canyon.

She and Lan Cangming floated in front of the Poseidon statue, each holding a golden sealing rune stone.

"Ready?"

Lan Cangming looked at her with tenderness in his eyes.

Su An'an nodded, the divine light at her fingertips intertwining with his silver light to form a ring: "Solve it once and for all."

They simultaneously pressed the runestones against the base of the statue.

"boom!!"

The massive shockwave shattered the surrounding reefs, and the black mist spewed from the statue instantly enveloped them.

My memory ends here.

Lan Cangming's ice crystal sword clattered to the ground.

He clutched his head, curled up in pain, and a glimmer of clarity flashed in his bloodshot eyes.

Su An'an was also thrown to the ground by the intense pain.

The calming bead hung between the two, its blue light binding them together like a ribbon.

Seeing this sudden turn of events, Red Fang screamed:
"How could you possibly break the curse?"

"Red Fang, you got away last time, but you won't live this time!"

Su An'an suddenly looked up, her pink fishtail creating huge waves, and divine light surged in her palm like the blazing sun.

Lan Cangming's blood-red eyes instantly cleared.

The ice crystal longsword solidified again in his hand, echoing Su An'an's divine light.

Seeing the two's perfectly coordinated stance, Red Fang's tentacles lashed wildly across the water's surface:

"Impossible! How could the curse fail?"

Before he could finish speaking, his shoulder was pierced by Lan Cangming's icicles.

Su An'an's divine light seized the opportunity to wrap around his neck.

"You think you've won?"

Red Fang suddenly burst into maniacal laughter, black blood gushing from his wound: "I'm no longer human!"

He violently ripped open his chest, splashing his scalding flesh and blood onto the statue of Poseidon:

"My lord! Descend upon me in my very body!"

The dark red veins on the statue's abdomen throbbed violently, and a crack appeared.

A red claw covered in slime suddenly shot out, reeking of decay, and lunged at the two of them.

The cursed black mist wrapped around their limbs like a living thing, and the divine light and ice crystals began to dissipate inch by inch.
