Hong Kong Nights of Passion

Chapter 103 You can do it too, I'd love to.

Chapter 103 You can too... I'd love to.

The basement was dimly lit and filled with noise.

The people kneeling on the ground trembled with fear.

When Chi Yige's gaze swept over, it was as if he were looking at a dead person.

They begged for mercy in trembling voices, only to be met with a cold, hard order: "Call the old man and get to Victoria Peak within an hour. If you're late, I'll wipe out his entire gang."

The oppressive atmosphere in the air caused cold sweat to pour down the foreheads of the group.

Li Mingyi responded and walked aside to make a phone call.

Chi Yige glanced at the person on the ground with disdain, patted his trouser legs, got up and walked towards the stairwell, with Shen Yu quickly following.

What about the rest of them?

"Let's review it again and see if there's any other useful information."

Shen Yu readily agreed, "I love doing this kind of thing."

As Chi Yige was walking upstairs, his phone suddenly rang.

He glanced at the caller ID, hung up immediately, and walked downstairs.

The butler cautiously approached: "Young Master, the Master just called... saying he won't be back for an hour."

"Then don't come back."

Chi Yige sat down on the sofa and started typing on his tablet.

The butler's forehead was sweating.

How could I possibly convey these words to the master?

I had no choice but to hide in a corner to make a phone call, my fingertips trembling as I held the phone.

An hour later, Chi Ce rushed over, still wearing his camouflage uniform.

He strode over and sat down opposite Chi Yige, cursing in a rough voice, "You brat! Tell me, what do you want?"

Chi Yige then closed his laptop and placed it on the coffee table, raising his eyes to say, "Qin Fang."

"What's up with him?"

Chi Ce poured himself a glass of water from the coffee table and took a sip.

"Are you trying to introduce his daughter to me again?"

Chi Ce slapped his forehead, suddenly realizing, "Right, it was at the beginning of the year when he brought his daughter to pay New Year's visits. I mentioned it casually. What's wrong?"

“He wanted to kill your future daughter-in-law.” Chi Yige looked up at him, her eyes icy cold.

"The future? You know it's the future..."

Before she could finish speaking, she was interrupted, "Miss Qin's birthday is in two weeks. She has already made arrangements and plans to invite Niannian to attend."

"You already had a plan."

"I called you back for two things."

Chi Yige tapped the table with his fingertips, his tone turning serious. "First, the person locked in the basement is connected to the murderer who killed your wife. Second, I will not let the Qin family off the hook; I'm just informing you."

Chi Yige picked up the tablet and stood up: "I'm going back."

"You called me back from all this way, aren't you going to have a meal together?" Chi Ce shouted.

Chi Yige paused, then a smile involuntarily crept onto his lips as he thought of something. "I'm going to start dating."

"You brat, you've forgotten your father now that you have a wife."

Chi Yige didn't reply, but simply waved his hand behind his back and strode out of the villa.

Seeing Chi Yige leave, the butler immediately stepped forward and said, "Master, let's go check the basement."

Chi Ce sighed, "It's time to clean house."

"Deputy Qin has been with me for so many years..." He narrowed his eyes, his fingertips tracing the tabletop. "It seems he's getting old. I've turned a blind eye to what he's done all these years. But to dare touch my future daughter-in-law..."

His tone suddenly turned cold. "I have to be clear-headed."

The butler chuckled, "Master is right. If the young master knew that you were protecting the future young mistress, his relationship with you would definitely improve."

"Let's go."

He stood up and dusted off his sleeves.

---

Chi Yige rushed back to the mountainside, but found no one at the villa.

Linda greeted him: "Young master, the two young ladies are planting flowers in the back garden."

He responded and was about to walk towards the back garden when Linda said, "Miss Wen said to go to the third floor when you come back, saying she has something for you."

He stopped in his tracks, turned around, and went up to the third floor.

Pushing open the door, I saw two exquisite boxes on the table. Upon opening them, I found a pair of cufflinks and a tie clip.

Seeing the letters on the tie clip, he couldn't suppress the corners of his mouth. He slightly raised his lips, fastened his cufflinks to his shirt, and took out his phone to call Li Mingyi: "Go to the mall and buy more bags and clothes that girls like."

He paused for a moment, then said, "Buy two."

Li Mingyi on the other end of the phone was taken aback.

The young master is clearly in a good mood right now.

Chi Yige walked to the balcony and saw Wen Jinnian and Fu Yiyi, covered up by sun umbrellas and sun-protective clothing, squatting in the yard planting trees.

One of them was carrying a seedling tray, and the other was filling a wooden bucket with compost, with bits of soil still stuck to the tip of their noses.

As he watched this scene unfold, he suddenly felt that the sunlight outside the balcony had become warmer.

Wen Jinian continued working until she received an invitation from the Qin family.

While Wen Jinian was picking out paints in the warehouse, she was suddenly pinned against the wall by a pair of large hands.

She looked up and saw Chi Yige wearing a collarless silk shirt, leaning against the wall with his elbows, staring intently at her.

Wen Jinnian was surprised.

"How did you end up here?"

He leaned down and whispered in her ear, his voice slightly hoarse: "I missed you."

"You've only been away on a business trip for a few days?" Her ears burned.

"It's a banquet at the Qin family today." He took a hair clip from his pocket and fastened it for her. "Wear it tonight."

As soon as he finished speaking, the man suddenly lowered his head and kissed her, his breath hot: "I missed you so much, did you miss me?"

"I'm always thinking about making money, I don't have time to think about anything else."

She chuckled softly.

"You can... mess with me too, I'd love to."

The man's gaze was intense, and his words, though clearly malicious, were incredibly tender.

"Ahem, this is a warehouse, someone will be here soon!"

Wen Jinnian felt the air was a little sticky after being flirted with.

He nuzzled her forehead and chuckled, "Niannian, still not satisfied with a one-month trial period?"

"We'll talk about it when Auntie gets back."

"She's been traveling for almost a month now, and it's almost the Ghost Festival."

Someone stared at them with a plaintive and pitiful gaze.

Wen Jinian felt embarrassed to look him in the eye and looked away.

Recalling what happened last time, Wen Jinnian paused, but ultimately did not ask those people how they handled it.

With her back against the wall, she hooked her arms around the man's neck and pulled him down until their noses touched.

Her warm breath brushed against his cheek, and she raised an eyebrow slightly: "Dr. Chi, did you find a new target while on your business trip? Are you tired of it?"

"Wen, how long have I been single?"

He chuckled softly, his eyelashes casting shadows beneath his eyes.

She brushed her fingertips against the back of his neck, then suddenly tiptoed and gave him a light peck on the lips.

Just as I was about to step back, my head was grabbed by the back of my hand.

The man ran his fingertips through her hair, lowered his head and bit the corner of her lip, his voice hot with urgency.

When she felt his palm moving upwards along her waistline, she suddenly felt the air in the warehouse was hot and sticky.

When Wen Jinian was almost breathless from the kiss and her knees went weak, the man suddenly pulled her into his arms.

Hearing his low, resonant laughter emanating from his chest, my ears burned intensely.

"Let's go home." It was a blatant invitation.

She was taken aback: "No, I still have tonight..."

Before she could finish speaking, he lifted her up by the waist, and she panicked and reached out to hook her arms around his neck.

Just then, footsteps sounded at the door, and Duan Jiaxu's complaining voice rang out: "Boss, what are you coming to the warehouse for?"

"I'm here to get the tools. The paint in the warehouse cost so much, those little brats never know how to appreciate it..."

Wen Jinnian poked the man's chest with her fingertip and muttered, "A blatant capitalist."

He chuckled softly, straightened her clothes, and just as the door opened, he led her behind the shelf to hide.
