Dimensional Invasion: I Can Fish for All Heavens

Chapter 432 A divine dragon carrying a map emerged from the Luo River, and thus commanded Feng Hou to create the text.
Since the “dimensional invasion”, the number of “heavenly treasures” that have descended upon Great Xia and even the whole world is not small. What is truly rare are those who can discover the special nature of these “heavenly treasures”, awaken them, and obtain their corresponding powers.
Among those who obtained the power of the "Treasures of the Heavens," some took the initiative to reveal their identities to the "Celestial Pivot Bureau" and seek cooperation; others preferred to explore on their own and were unwilling to be bound by any organization or force.
They will step forward when a nation or civilization faces a crisis, but most of the time they prefer to hide in the city or in the mountains and rivers, enjoying this freedom that transcends worldly affairs.
Wang Ye was one of the latter.
Interestingly, "Wang Ye" is not actually his real name.
In the years before the spiritual revival and dimensional invasion occurred, he lived for more than twenty years under another name, a name that often carries great causal significance in many novels: Wang Teng.
Before "Dimensional Invasion," the name wasn't anything special. At most, acquaintances would say, "My son Wang Teng has the bearing of an emperor." After being said so often, even his unreliable father liked to say the same thing.
But after the "dimensional invasion," the name really had a "great karma." At least he felt that he couldn't control the name, and his father also felt that he couldn't bear the karma of "Wang Teng's father."
For their own safety and mental well-being, the two decided to change their names!
As for why "Wang Ye" was chosen?
The reason is simple: he loves watching "Under One Person" and has a particular fondness for the character "Wang Ye". In addition, he also has the surname Wang, so he changed his name to Wang Ye.
But whether it was because a "name" could really bring some kind of mysterious fortune, or it was just a coincidence, shortly after he changed his name, during a seemingly ordinary sorting of old things, he unexpectedly touched upon a hidden ancient charm.
It was not a physical object, but a feeling and inheritance that seemed to transcend dimensional barriers and flow directly into the depths of his soul.
From then on, he became one of the holders of the "Treasures of the Heavens".
What he inherited was the same as the "Double-Handed Skill" acquired by the medical master "Jiang Qingyao," and was known as one of the "Eight Extraordinary Skills"—Feng Hou Qi Men!
A divine dragon carries a map out of the Luo River, and a colorful phoenix carries a book in the azure clouds.
Because Feng Hou was instructed to develop the text, the art of divination and divination began.
This is the weight that Feng Hou Qi Men carries in its original world.
It was realized by Zhou Sheng, one of the thirty-six thieves in the Jia Shen Rebellion and also a disciple of the Wudang School.
Zhou Sheng believes that everything in the world, in its myriad forms, ultimately boils down to the word "change," and his lifelong wish is to completely control the infinite changes of all things in the world.
Feng Hou Qi Men represents the pinnacle of the "Qi Men" art.
To understand the extraordinary nature of "Feng Hou Qi Men," one must understand the foundation and limitations of traditional Qi Men Dun Jia:
Traditional Qimen Dunjia constructs a sophisticated model consisting of four plates:
The territory symbolizes the fixed Bagua, eight directions, and five elements attributes, and is the basic framework of the situation.
The Human Plate corresponds to the Eight Gates (Open, Rest, Life, Injury, Block, View, Death, and Shock), and governs good and bad fortune.
The Heavenly Plate corresponds to the Nine Stars (such as Tianpeng and Tianrui), symbolizing the flow and influence of celestial phenomena.
The Divine Plate corresponds to the Eight Gods (such as the Chief Deity and the Soaring Serpent), representing elusive and mysterious energy.
The absolute core of the entire arrangement is the central palace! The fortune or misfortune of all directions, regardless of the caster's own position, revolves around the central palace.
The biggest limitation of traditional Qimen Dunjia is that the practitioner must strictly follow the timing and location of the heavens and earth.
Once the Qimen Dunjia formation is set up, the directions, auspiciousness, inauspiciousness, and interactions within it are fixed. The practitioner is like a chess piece on a chessboard, only able to utilize the rules by moving their own position or waiting for time to pass; they cannot change the chessboard in the slightest.
But "Feng Hou Qi Men" overturned all of this.
Those who master "Feng Hou Qi Men" are themselves the central palace, the core of this world!
He no longer needs to passively conform to the existing pattern, but can freely manipulate the four plates and arbitrarily alter time, space, mutual generation and restraint, and fortune and misfortune within the Qimen formation he has set!
But powerful abilities always come at a price.
The biggest risk in learning Feng Hou Qi Men is losing yourself in the endless changes of the situation.
Once learners develop the illusion that "I can control all changes," they will become completely immersed in the illusion they have created, and their real bodies will become like zombies.
So why is it so easy to get lost in the inner vision of Feng Hou Qi Men?
Even those who have experienced all kinds of life and whose minds are far more steadfast than ordinary people can get caught up in learning Feng Hou Qi Men.
That's because other people's inexplicable omnipotence in the inner world makes people feel unreal, like they're dreaming, and naturally they want to wake up and return to reality;
However, the inner vision of Feng Hou Qi Men does not make you omnipotent; it merely expands your Qi Men formation infinitely and provides unlimited Qi.
Everything you can do indoors, you can also do outdoors.
It is this "power of absolute truth in a false world" that makes the interior both incredibly alluring and terrifying.
The only difference between the interior and reality is that the former allows you to control an infinitely large area, while the latter still has boundaries.
Thus, a stark contrast arises. In the inner vision, you are a deity who holds the reins of power and whose words carry on the law; but in reality, you are still a practitioner who can be exhausted, injured, and has many flaws.
This incredibly realistic experience of "power and strength" within the interior reflects the "weakness" and "limitations" of reality itself, making reality seem like a poor imitation.
In such circumstances, how many people can remain true to themselves amidst the temptation of "reality"?
I'm afraid most people would willingly abandon the "false" reality and forever exile their souls to the "truth" of the inner world, until their bodies decay and their souls dissipate.
The reason Wang Ye was able to master Feng Hou Qi Men was not because his mind had transcended worldly affairs and reached a point where he was completely indifferent to such temptations.
Ultimately, he simply changed his name to "Wang Ye," not the real "Wang Ye."
In his nature, he still has the thoughts and desires of an ordinary person, far from being "transcendent" to the point where he cannot resist any temptation.
He was able to learn "Feng Hou Qi Men" purely because the "inheritance" he received was quite special. He didn't need to learn it bit by bit. Instead, the moment he received the inheritance, the complete power was engraved into the depths of his soul, allowing him to almost instinctively know how to use it.
In other words, the lineage chose him and, in a way that "cheated," allowed him to skip the most dangerous training process.
If he had to figure it out on his own from scratch, he would probably have already become one of the vast majority of people who sank into inner visions and died in solitude.
"I'm still a little nervous."
Wang Ye himself knew it perfectly well.
So, after inheriting the tradition and achieving some success, he naturally took the opportunity to "travel and temper his mind" and went out on his little donkey.
It is euphemistically called "traveling through the mountains and rivers of the Great Xia Dynasty, tempering one's Daoist heart amidst the bustling world and magnificent scenery".
Look at the vastness of this grassland, listen to the gentle breeze in the mountains, and feel the warmth of human life in different cities and regions—what a wonderful thing!
He looked up at the sky and, according to the offline map on his phone that occasionally malfunctioned, the nearest protected "city" settlement was still more than a hundred miles away.
At the speed of his little donkey, it'll probably take another day or two to get going.
Speaking of which, after the spiritual energy revival, in order to deal with the threat of mutated creatures, the Great Xia invested heavily in the "fortress-like" transformation of important towns and transportation hubs on the grasslands.
Tall composite material protective walls have replaced the old buildings, with advanced sensors and automatic defense weapon platforms deployed on top of the walls to monitor any unusual activity on the grassland.
The number of Tian Shu Bureaus is also greater than in other cities, and each Tian Shu Bureau is basically equipped with the latest exoskeleton armor and various new weapons.
There have also been significant changes in the management of livestock breeding.
Traditional free-range grazing has largely become history, and "ecological ranches" have become the mainstream.
These ranches are divided into different areas, and the livestock wear special biosignal monitoring collars. If a certain physiological indicator fluctuates abnormally, indicating a possible mutation, the collar will immediately issue an alarm and release a sedative, while sending the location information to the nearest Tian Shu Bureau, and professionals will quickly go to handle the situation.
In addition, Daxia has promoted new breeds of livestock that have been optimized by biotechnology, have relatively more stable temperaments, and are naturally lazy.
The herders' responsibilities have also shifted from simply herding livestock to learning how to use new equipment, monitor data, and cooperate with members of the Tian Shu Bureau in emergency situations.
However, Wang Ye learned all of this from the internet and from the reports released by the Tian Shu Bureau.
He hadn't seen the specifics of how the ecological ranch operated, but he figured it was roughly the same as what had been reported.
Even if there is a difference, it shouldn't be too significant.
After all, the importance of grasslands is self-evident.
Especially now, with the resurgence of spiritual energy, the potential dangers of the ocean have even surpassed those of the sea due to the sheer number of living beings.
At least the ocean is relatively safe for now. Except for very few occasions, those mutated sea beasts will generally not go to land, but the mutated creatures on the grasslands will not do so.
Therefore, the firepower and protection level of the Tian Shu Bureau branch stationed here are no less than those of any coastal city.
National-level investment and reforms thus became a matter of course.
However, having lost its once-thriving tourism industry as a crucial economic pillar, even with government investment and reforms, the pace of development here will likely be much slower than before the spiritual energy revival.
"But this isn't just a problem for one company."
"Given the current situation, apart from relatively nearby cities, who would dare to travel to any city that's a bit further away without some financial means?"
Wang Ye shrugged and said.
