Traditional Qimen Dunjia constructs a sophisticated model consisting of four plates:

The territory symbolizes the fixed Bagua, eight directions, and five elements attributes, and is the basic framework of the situation.

The Human Plate corresponds to the Eight Gates (Open, Rest, Life, Injury, Block, View, Death, and Shock), and governs good and bad fortune.

The Heavenly Plate corresponds to the Nine Stars (such as Tianpeng and Tianrui), symbolizing the flow and influence of celestial phenomena.

The Divine Plate corresponds to the Eight Gods (such as the Chief Deity and the Soaring Serpent), representing elusive and mysterious energy.

The absolute core of the entire arrangement is the central palace! The fortune or misfortune of all directions, regardless of the caster's own position, revolves around the central palace.

The biggest limitation of traditional Qimen Dunjia is that the practitioner must strictly follow the timing and location of the heavens and earth.

In such circumstances, how many people can remain true to themselves amidst the temptation of "reality"?
I'm afraid most people would willingly abandon the "false" reality and forever exile their souls to the "truth" of the inner world, until their bodies decay and their souls dissipate.

The reason Wang Ye was able to master Feng Hou Qi Men was not because his mind had transcended worldly affairs and reached a point where he was completely indifferent to such temptations.

Ultimately, he simply changed his name to "Wang Ye," not the real "Wang Ye."

In his nature, he still has the thoughts and desires of an ordinary person, far from being "transcendent" to the point where he cannot resist any temptation.
