Chapter 765 Proving the Dao
After its official birth, the Source God did not go directly to the human universe, but instead began to learn various cultivation methods from the Underworld Emperor in order to make itself more perfect.

As a special, holy spirit-like being, the Source God naturally possesses its own Tao and Law during the process of gestation. However, since it is not perfected at birth, its Law is slightly out of sync with itself and needs further improvement.

These problems, of course, require him to make up for them through his later cultivation and to change his own methods.

The scriptures that the Underworld Emperor taught him for cultivation mainly came from the scriptures of the Underworld Lord and himself, as well as the scriptures left by the Three Lives Emperor.

Having been nurtured in the Netherworld for many years, the Source God has developed a considerable affinity for the Netherworld's primordial power and laws, subtly acquiring a unique aura from the Netherworld. Therefore, it is entirely feasible for him to cultivate these scriptures now.

After all, the asynchrony between the laws he possessed when he was conceived in the source and his own nature is mainly due to the evolution that occurred after this part was influenced and modified by the laws of the underworld.

As for the Netherworld Scripture concerning the laws of the Netherworld, the Source God's current level is not high enough. Therefore, the Netherworld Emperor did not directly pass it on to the Source God, but sealed this scripture in his Immortal Platform. It will only appear when the Source God reaches the Quasi-Emperor level.

Of course, these scriptures are the ones that the Underworld Emperor can teach him about cultivation. The part of the scriptures left by the Underworld Lord that expounds the profound mysteries of the source arts is not something the Underworld Emperor himself has much talent for. Therefore, this part is mainly for the source god to comprehend on his own.

However, the Source God was created by the Underworld Lord using Source Techniques, and was a divine embryo nurtured within the Source. It was only natural for him to cultivate Source Techniques. He could master them on his own without the Underworld Emperor's guidance and had achieved considerable skill.

Seeing the Source God's rapid progress in Source Techniques, the Underworld Emperor couldn't help but think of the Field Technique. This technique was created by the Limitless Celestial Venerable and the Spiritual Treasure Celestial Venerable by combining Source Techniques and Array Patterns. Since the Source God could master Source Techniques, was it possible that he also had talent in the Field Technique?
The Underworld Emperor shook his head, dismissing the idea. After all, it was clear that the Law of the Field had not yet been fully deduced, and the current Source Gods were probably insufficient; they could only hope for a future opportunity.

The Source God cultivated in the Netherworld for a hundred years before leaving and stepping into the starry sky.

During these hundred years, the Source God's cultivation did not improve at all. He was simply using the ancient scriptures of the Underworld to complete his own laws, thereby making himself more perfect and raising his foundation to the deepest level.

This step was not only related to his own cultivation, but also something that the Source Ghost and Source Demon would inevitably do after they were born. Therefore, the Source God took it very seriously and did his best.

Of course, his research on Origin Techniques was not so time-consuming and laborious. He mastered it very quickly, making rapid progress in just a hundred years and gaining a deep understanding of the technique.

After all, given his background, the talent of most cultivators in the human universe who practiced source techniques was far inferior to his, even the so-called source masters of later generations.

Having mastered all these methods, it was time for the Source God to leave the Underworld and travel to the human universe.

The birth of the Source God quickly caused a sensation in this otherwise calm era. A special creature born of nature, feeding on divine treasures from the Source, and possessing extremely powerful strength and superb talent, such an existence naturally overshadowed all others and became the most dazzling existence of this era.

His origins from the underworld gave him an extra layer of protection, preventing him from being dissected and studied by other cultivators because of his special nature.

However, competing with these prodigies is secondary; the purpose of the Source God's cultivation has always been focused on himself.

Following the ancient starry path, the Source God used the Sources produced by each region as a medium to analyze the terrain of various ancient lands and stars with Source Arts, allowing his Source Arts to advance rapidly. At the same time, he could also draw inspiration from the differences in the laws and terrains revealed by these Sources, thereby enhancing his Dao and Law. In this way, he steadily advanced, following the ancient starry path to the depths of the universe.

When the Source God was four hundred years old, he advanced to the Great Sage level and arrived at the end of the Starry Sky Ancient Road, leaving his name before reaching the Ultimate Ancient Road.

Along the way, the competitors he encountered who were the source gods were basically no match for him. His focus of cultivation was always on the terrain of each place and the source they produced.

After that, on the ultimate ancient road, the Source God encountered a few decent opponents, who at least required him to fight hard to defeat them, which finally gave him a sense of urgency.

After four hundred years of fighting and exploring the ultimate ancient path, the Source God overpowered all the contemporary geniuses and became the first Quasi-Emperor.

Four hundred years later, when he was twelve hundred years old, he finally walked out of the ultimate ancient path.

He and his two brothers can directly absorb the essence of the source to replenish themselves; this is an innate talent, and their magic is actually related to this talent.

Source is a divine treasure formed from the essence of heaven and earth, a vital resource for cultivators, and can even serve as currency. To other cultivators, source is simply source, nothing special.

But for the Source God, these sources not only contain the primordial energy of heaven and earth, but also the mysteries of how the earth vein power of this place gathers and condenses, and how the laws of heaven and earth operate.

When absorbing the essence of the source, he naturally perceives this information, thus entering a state of enlightenment and further enhancing his cultivation. This method of cultivation is much more efficient than their normal cultivation.

This is clearly a way of cultivation and enlightenment that only their special kind of beings can engage in.

After realizing this, the Source God began to travel throughout the universe. He wanted to travel all over the human world and the universe, and by absorbing the sources from various places, he would continuously improve his own Dao and Dharma, and finally sublimate himself to the extreme and successfully prove the Dao.

Thanks to the fact that this generation of prodigies were not particularly outstanding, and that most of them were already defeated by the Source Gods, he could make steady progress without having to worry about the speed of his cultivation.

And so time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, another two thousand eight hundred years had passed. The four thousand-year-old Source God had traveled through most of the human universe, thoroughly perfecting his Dao and Dharma, and forging his own path. His Source Techniques had also undergone changes that were significantly different from those of the Underworld Lord.

At this point, he had naturally completed the accumulation for the ultimate leap and could directly attain enlightenment. If it weren't for the pursuit of perfection, he could have actually succeeded in attaining enlightenment a thousand years ago, but it's not too late now.

Thus, the Source God triggered the Great Tribulation of Proving the Dao, officially launching its assault on the throne of the Emperor.
