Chapter 674 Moral Transformation
As the Blood Phoenix Emperor and the Undying Emperor entered their respective cultivations, working together to create their own new world for the future, the human universe once again entered a period of recovery.

During this period, the Celestial Venerable Morality finally came to the end of his incarnation. The eighth incarnation of the Celestial Venerable Morality was over 400,000 years old. Although he spent most of his time in slumber, it was still an unimaginably long period of time.

Within the Great Luo Immortal Mountain, the Moral Celestial Venerable felt his body, which was becoming increasingly aged and decaying due to the erosion of time, and knew that he had ultimately failed to break through the barrier between immortals and mortals in this eighth incarnation, unlike the Limitless Celestial Venerable and the Primordial Celestial Venerable.

Of course, this does not mean that the path of the Mortal Celestial Venerable to immortality in the mortal world was cut short at the last moment. It simply means that he still needs to undergo a transformation before he can succeed, unlike the Primordial Celestial Venerable and the Great Celestial Venerable who achieved it naturally.

To live out his ninth incarnation is an extremely dangerous undertaking. As the saying goes, "He who travels a hundred miles is only halfway there at ninety," and nine is the ultimate number. If he fails to achieve immortality in the mortal world by the time he reaches his ninth incarnation, it most likely means that his path to immortality will fail.

The Celestial Venerable of Morality stood atop the Great Luo Immortal Mountain, sensing the breath of the universe and nature. He was overwhelmed with thoughts as he compared the two not particularly powerful but revealing a higher level of power within the Wuji Immortal Mountain and the Kunlun Immortal Mountain.

Aside from the vanished Underworld Lord, the Moral Celestial Venerable is the oldest among all those who have embarked on the path of immortality in the mortal universe. After all, he was a Daoist who attained enlightenment in the early to mid-mythological era. He predates the Spiritual Treasure Celestial Venerable by more than a million years, not to mention the later Limitless Celestial Venerable and Primordial Celestial Venerable.

Memories flashed before his eyes, prompting the Celestial Venerable to sigh.

Years ago, when he was still a mortal, he unexpectedly embarked on the path of cultivation. He was merely a mortal, and although he was much stronger than ordinary mortals, he still could not compare with those with special physiques and powerful bloodlines.

Although his innate conditions were not top-notch, he still made rapid progress through his superb comprehension, transforming himself and radiating a brilliance that was in no way inferior to any special physique or bloodline.

While innate physique cannot determine a cultivator's upper limit, its usefulness is very evident, at least in the early and middle stages. Therefore, when the Celestial Venerable of Morality fought with others, he inevitably encountered situations where his physique was inferior, preventing him from winning in direct combat. He could only rely on his own cultivation and supernatural powers to achieve victory with great difficulty.

At that time, the Celestial Venerable began to think that if he were to face his opponent head-on alone, it would be difficult to deal with him. If many versions of himself launched an attack from all directions, wouldn't that avoid his own weaknesses?
Thus, relying on his own enlightenment, the Celestial Venerable of Morality focused on the unorthodox paths of incarnation and avatar, which were rarely explored in the human universe. In doing so, he created the Secret of Numbers and truly achieved a dominant position that was unshakeable among his contemporaries.

But this is not the ultimate solution. Although the power of the Celestial Venerable Morality has greatly increased, his physical body is still not strong enough.

Therefore, the Moral Celestial only completed his accumulation and achieved his ultimate leap after being over five thousand years old. Even then, he had been invincible in the human universe for thousands of years.

After attaining enlightenment, the Supreme Lord of Morality finally made up for his shortcomings and began to become more and more powerful.

Thanks to his physical limitations, after living three lifetimes with the help of the Elixir of Immortality and the Nine-Turn Immortal Pill, he successfully transformed his Dao, developing a completely new physique, namely the Supreme Immortal Body.

At that time, he could finally stand out from the crowd throughout history. Even the mysterious Tribulation-Crossing Celestial Venerable could not match the performance of the Moral Celestial Venerable who had lived out his fourth life.

At that time, the Moral Celestial could not see the path ahead, nor did he have any companions; he could only explore it on his own with great difficulty. Ultimately, he discovered the direction of transformation from the Holy Spirit.

Originally, he hoped to transform into a holy spirit in such a wondrous place as Kunlun Immortal Mountain, but because the foundation of Kunlun Immortal Mountain was too profound at that time, it was difficult to conquer it in a short period of time, so the Moral Celestial Venerable had to give up.

Later, he arrived at the ancient primordial star. In that top-tier corpse-nurturing ground of the human universe, the Celestial Venerable of Morality further improved his own method of transformation, making it more complete. At the same time, he also spread his teachings and methods on the ancient primordial star, leaving behind a wealth of inheritances.

After that, he buried himself beneath Mount Tai, which had weakened considerably, on the ancient star, using the star's ley lines to nourish himself. This transformation took over a million years, and he almost died completely due to the changes in the laws of heaven and earth.

Fortunately, with the help of the Boundless Heavenly Venerable, he was able to recover, not only avoiding death and annihilation, but also successfully living out his fifth life.

From that moment on, he realized that the path he had been walking was the true path to immortality. He was overjoyed, finally having a clear direction for the future.

It was from that time that the Moral Celestial finally had a companion with whom he could progress and inspire each other. They encouraged and communicated with one another, and only then did they reach this point.

The current Celestial Venerable of Morality has truly reached a point where there is no further progress in the realm of humanity. The accumulation of his previous eight lifetimes will finally come together at this moment, forming an unprecedented sublimation.

If he cannot comprehend the true meaning of the Immortal of the Mortal World during this sublimation and thus truly achieve immortality, then he will fail in his endeavor.

Faced with such a significant risk and the possibility of fulfilling his long-cherished wish of countless years of cultivation, the Celestial Venerable of Morality remained clear-headed, without the slightest worry or joy, calmly regarding it with a tranquil and serene mind.

At that moment, the Celestial Being was certain that he was ready, and so he no longer hesitated.

The four divine weapons that the Celestial Venerable of Morality had previously forged had all been transformed into celestial artifacts, but none of them had become supreme celestial artifacts like the Qiankun Creation Tower.

These four celestial artifacts knew that the Celestial Venerable of Morality was at his final moment, so they all fully revived, activating the great formation of Mount Daluo to conceal all energy.

The Celestial Venerable of Morality turned around and entered the Xuandu Cave, beginning his final transformation.

During the hundreds of thousands of years of the Great Dream, the Celestial Venerable of Morality comprehended the nature of heaven and earth, witnessed the myriad forms of all living beings, and transcended the mortal realm to become an immortal. He accumulated a large amount of immortal energy within his own body, thus gaining the possibility of transforming and living out his ninth life.

After that, he further studied the state of the Primordial Celestial Venerable, who had aged considerably, and comprehended the true immortality of that state. This further promoted the generation and transformation of these immortal auras, and he adjusted his own state accordingly.

Now, to live out his ninth incarnation, he must rely on this immortal energy to transform himself once more and truly grasp the secrets of immortality in the process. At that time, he will be able to continuously generate longevity substances, thus achieving a state of immortality regardless of the environment—this is the realm of a mortal immortal.

Of course, the Celestial Venerable of Morality did not stop there. Like the Celestial Venerable of Limitless Limit, he also wanted to undergo another transformation during this sublimation, becoming the true immortal body most suitable for himself.

The aura of the Celestial Venerable of Morality gradually weakened, and his life force dissipated. However, within this body, a faint immortal charm flowed, and an immortal aura continuously emerged. This was the final sublimation of his achievements over these eight lifetimes.

When the Celestial Venerable of Morality crosses this boundary between the mortal and the immortal realm, he will truly awaken.
