Ye Fan's Great Dream of Eternity can be roughly divided into three stages. The first stage is a simple slumber, which lasts for a total of 20,000 years.

At this time, the Celestial Venerable of Morality blended and differentiated his own Dao fruit, laws, primordial spirit, qi and blood, transforming them into eighty-one incarnations that walked among humans, experiencing different lives and thereby attaining enlightenment.

His true body, however, is maintained by only a wisp of undying true spirit, which continuously absorbs the insights gained from these incarnations while in slumber, thus allowing himself to grow continuously.

When the day comes that all eighty-one avatars return one by one and reunite with his original body, that will be the time when he truly completes his Great Dream of Eternity and takes another step forward.
