"Perhaps only a strange world, with substances that promote longevity but lack the laws of immortality, where one can live forever but not become an immortal, can support the birth of this kind of mortal immortal."

"I touched upon this mystery during this new life, and thus became a half-immortal. Now that you two fellow Daoists also know the essence of the immortals, perhaps it is not far from your time to become immortals as well."

Lingbao Tianzun said, "Fellow Daoist Wuji, this step is like an insurmountable chasm. Even though I have witnessed this state, I'm afraid it will take countless years. Perhaps this insight will be more effective in the next life."

Yuanshi Tianzun pondered and said, "Fellow Daoist Lingbao is right. This kind of insight is ultimately just a castle in the air. It still requires a transformation to compare and contrast before it can be touched. Perhaps when we live out our eighth life, we will have a chance to touch this key point."

Liang Yu's accumulated experience of rebirth in reverse in each lifetime was far more profound than that of Lingbao Tianzun. Even though Lingbao Tianzun did his utmost to achieve the ultimate in rebirth in reverse in his later lifetimes, he still fell short of Liang Yu's level.

Yuanshi Tianzun also lived in reverse in each life, but he attained enlightenment later than Liang Yu, so there was a gap in his accumulated experience. Liang Yu said, "In my opinion, the Moral Daoist will change in tens of thousands of years at most and move to the next stage."

Lingbao Tianzun continued, "Then we'll just have to visit Fellow Daoist Morality then and explore the mysteries behind it. But Fellow Daoist Wuji, now that you've transformed into the Wuji Dao Body and become a half-immortal in the mortal world, you must have a completely new understanding of the field technique, right?"

Lingbao Tianzun then bowed and took his leave.
