Chapter 73 Remarks on the launch
Chapter 73 Remarks on the launch
Dear readers, thank you all for your continued support. With your companionship, we've finally reached the point of being officially released!
First of all, I would like to bow deeply to everyone to express my gratitude for your companionship and support since the book's inception.
It's thanks to your encouragement that I've been able to persevere all this way. Thank you everyone!
Hehe, let me put the important part first!
About the update:
1. I guarantee at least 5 chapters will be released tomorrow. I'm still writing; if I can finish them, I'll release more.
2. For future updates, please ensure at least 6 words. If you don't experience writer's block, please post as many as possible.
(As a newbie, my output is indeed limited. Plus, I have two kids at home, one in kindergarten and the other still breastfeeding, which really takes up a lot of my energy (*^▽^*) Anyway, I'll definitely keep pushing forward. If the men lash out with their little whips, I'll just stick my butt out and take the hit (#^.^#))
3. Regarding extra chapters (Hehe, is this something a nobody like me has the right to even think about? o(╥﹏╥)o)
However, to give myself some motivation, let's boldly dream a little—
Based on the minimum of two chapters:
First-time subscriptions: If the first-time subscriptions exceed 500 within 24 hours of release, one additional chapter will be added for every additional 100 subscriptions (if the first-time subscriptions do not reach 500, at least 5 chapters will be added on the same day).
Monthly passes: Let's tentatively add one chapter for every 200 monthly passes. I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up with more than that o(╥﹏╥)o
Donations: Tentatively, a chapter will be added for every 5000 donations (please be realistic about what you can afford; a subscription would be great, donations are not mandatory).
If there are extra chapters, I'll try my best to finish them the next day. If there are even more extra chapters and I can't finish them the next day, I'll make up for it as soon as possible in the following days.
Divider line --
Hehe, now that we've covered the serious stuff, let's chat a bit more.
I'm usually busy taking care of my child and writing, so I don't get to interact with everyone much. I'd like to take this opportunity to share my journey into the world of online novels!
I got into this fandom around the time I was in my third year of junior high school, around 05 or 06 (am I showing my age? o(╯□╰)o)
The first two books I read were "Stellar Transformation" and "Panlong". I forget who it was, but they bought these two books, tore them into pages, and the students would secretly read them during class by tucking them into their textbooks.
I remember the first part I saw was in "Panlong", the part where Lin Lei and his group went to the Tomb of the Gods. When I saw Lin Lei comprehend the secret of speed at the crucial moment and overpower a million Abyss Blade Demons with his own strength, I was so excited!
However, most of them were later caught and confiscated by the teacher, so I only saw this part, which was not very satisfying.
Back then, when I was studying in the county town, there were stalls selling all sorts of very poor-quality secondhand books near the bus station and a park square. You could pay a deposit to rent them and exchange them after you finished reading them.
It just so happens that my childhood friend is in the same class as me and also loves reading novels. On Friday afternoons after school or on Sunday afternoons on our way back to school, we would go for a stroll and look for any good novels.
I forgot how much I spent, but I bought a copy of "Stellar Transformation" for a few dollars. It happened to be summer vacation, and I read the whole book in one go. It was so satisfying!
Later, when I went to high school, I found that I had even more classmates with the same interests. We would often compare the main characters in the books we liked to read.
Qin Yu, Lin Lei, Chen Nan, Tang San, Xiao Yan, and later Luo Feng and Ye Fan—everyone has their own favorites, and now when I think about them, they are all full of memories.
During high school, I read most of the popular books at the time, and quite a few left a deep impression on me. For example, several books by Tomato, such as "Legend of Star Peak", "Inch of Light", "Stellar Transformation", "Panlong", and "Nine Cauldrons". I only started reading "Swallowing the Starry Sky" in my third year of junior high school.
Back then, I would borrow my roommate's small-screen phone and secretly read it under the covers in the dorm. I remember there was a period when Tomato Monthly Tickets were being contested, and it seemed like 18 chapters were updated in two days. It was so enjoyable to read!
Then there are several books by Chen Dong, such as "Undying and Immortal", "Tomb of the Gods", and "The World of Immortality", and later "Covering the Sky", which I only finished reading in college.
Especially the novels like "Tomb of the Gods" and "Covering the Sky," with their vivid descriptions where every character is unique and leaves a deep impression, and their grand scenes, which still seem epic today!
There were also a large number of excellent online novels such as "Douluo Continent", "The Throne of Gods", "God of Wine", "Heavenly Jewel Change", "Battle Through the Heavens", "Dragon Raja", "Eternal Life", "Yang God", "Novoland: Eagle Flag", and so on. Back then, it felt like there were so many good novels to read that I couldn't possibly finish them all. I was so happy!
Even after I went to university, graduated, got a job, got married, and had children, I never gave up my love for online novels.
Later on, he even had the idea of writing his own novel.
However, each attempt ended in failure.
Until I resigned before the Lunar New Year last year, and later had my second child, I was temporarily unable to work, but the idea of writing a novel was rekindled.
And so, here we are today, chatting with you all.
Looking back, I've been into this hobby since 05 or 06, and it's been almost 20 years now!
For 20 years, I've experienced one wonderful life after another from the perspective of each protagonist, feeling incredibly lucky, incredibly happy, and incredibly fond of it all.
And I will continue to like it in the future.
Hehe, I've rambled on for so long without even realizing it, almost enough for a chapter!
That concludes my story. I also welcome everyone to share their own stories of how they got into this fandom, the works they started watching, interesting snippets of their lives, and so on, in the comments section.
Let's all share these wonderful memories together; it'll surely be a fun experience!
