Investiture of the Gods: I am Bigan, the Master of Conspiracy

Chapter 212 Facing the Immortal Executioner, the trump card is the Eternal Calamity Formation!

Everything happened in the blink of an eye. Before everyone could even recover from the series of changes, the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation suddenly erupted like thunder, and the powerful sword energy soared into the sky, seemingly about to cleave this world in two.

The Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, like a cage constructed from countless chaotic sword energies, instantly rescued Bai Suzhen and the remaining demons from the crisis of being suppressed by the Ten Thousand Buddhas Formation.

With a solemn expression, the Golden Spirit Mother looked at Bai Suzhen and instructed, "Fairy Bai, leave the battle of Lion Camel Ridge to me. You can lead the demon race to wipe out the other demon caves in Xiniu Hezhou and uproot them!"

Bai Suzhen was deeply grateful. She immediately bowed and said, "Thank you for your rescue, Master Jinling. In this situation, we are unable to help you here. We can only go and wipe out the other demon caves."

The decisive battle has now escalated. The demon race has established its authority and is now truly using its forces to exterminate the demons of the Three Realms. Completing this task will be a legitimate way to uproot the foundation for the spread of faith throughout the Three Realms. After saying this, Bai Suzhen led the demon race away quickly to begin their campaign to exterminate the demon caves in various places.

At the same time, countless demonic shadows scattered as Tathagata arrived, and the great war to destroy demons that was spreading throughout the three realms was only just beginning.

Sun Wukong stared at the suddenly appearing Golden Spirit Mother with surprise in his eyes, and muttered to himself, "Golden Spirit Mother, so it was her who gave me the Origin Pearl. Why is my Origin Pearl on her?"

When the Golden Spirit Mother appeared, Sun Wukong was shocked. He had finally seen the Golden Spirit Mother again and wanted to ask her about the mystery that had been shrouded in mystery.

However, faced with this terrifying Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, Sun Wukong could not advance and could only wait.

The more Sun Wukong understands now, the more composed he becomes; the impulsive and rash Sun Wukong is becoming increasingly rare.

This is like a newborn calf that is not afraid of a tiger; the older it gets, the more afraid it becomes, and the more it knows, the more afraid it becomes.

At this moment, the Holy Mother Jinling calmly looked in the direction of the Buddha and said, "Elder Brother, we meet again. I never expected that we would have to fight each other this time."

Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong was immediately astonished, wondering to himself, "Senior Brother? Could this be the Buddha's junior sister?"

The Buddha looked at the Holy Mother of Golden Spirit with a complicated expression and said, "Fellow Daoist, since we parted at the Ullambana Festival, I never expected to meet you again today. I once carelessly sent out the array diagram, which has led to the calamity of Buddhism today. This time, you gave me a show of force, and I was even hit by the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha's Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife."

The Golden Spirit Mother remained calm and said frankly, "The Great Sun Tathagata Buddha always tries to launch sneak attacks. He even assassinated Zhao Gongming during the Investiture of the Gods. With such behavior, how can we not guard against it during this great calamity?"

Buddha frowned slightly and said, "To expend such a great deal of fortune by using the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife is quite a sacrifice, fellow Daoist."

The Holy Mother Jinling remained calm and said, "This way, we can have no worries about the future, which is quite suitable."

The Buddha nodded slightly and said, "Very well, it seems you intend to engage us in a decisive battle at Lion Camel Ridge."

The Holy Mother of Golden Spirit's gaze was like lightning as she said calmly, "In that case, I will not waste any more words. Fellow Daoists of the Chan Sect and the Human Sect, please show yourselves."

As soon as he finished speaking, a great light shone in the sky, and Guang Chengzi of the Chan Sect led a large group of immortals to descend in a grand procession. His body was radiant with immortal light, and the Pangu Banner displayed divine power, opening up the world and sweeping across the three realms.

At the same time, Grand Master Xuandu, holding a Taiji diagram, with the Xuanhuang Pagoda above his head and radiating endless Xuanhuang energy, also appeared on the battlefield.

In an instant, the winds of change swept across the land, and forces from all sides gathered at Lion Camel Ridge. A showdown of epic proportions, which would determine the fate of the Three Realms, was about to begin, and the unresolved karmic entanglements since the Investiture of the Gods would be settled at this moment.

At this moment, Lion Camel Ridge was filled with a tragic and desolate atmosphere.

The demons on Lion Camel Ridge have all been wiped out by various forces, and the once bustling demon cave is now only a desolate wasteland.

The Golden-Winged Roc, the Azure Lion, and the White Elephant also failed to escape and were successfully captured. The entire Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation had been set up long ago, so how could these three possibly escape? The moment the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation was raised, they were captured alive.

Meanwhile, Tang Sanzang and his disciples were also trapped in the Lion Camel Cave under the cover of the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation. This was the strongest trial in the current Journey to the West, and Buddha and others had to rescue Tang Sanzang from the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation.

With a cold gaze, the Golden Spirit Mother slowly looked at the Green Lion and the White Elephant and asked, "Why have my two junior brothers fallen to such a state?"

Upon seeing the Golden Spirit Mother, the Green Lion and the White Elephant immediately knelt down, tears streaming down their faces, and accused her, "Master Sister, please understand! It was not our own choice to become demons, but rather our primordial spirits were imprisoned, leaving us no choice but to do it!"

Both of them were captured during the Investiture of the Gods period, but in Journey to the West, they were forced to become demons. It can be said that the methods used were extremely ruthless.

Upon hearing this, the Golden Spirit Mother's expression hardened. She turned to look at the Buddha, her eyes filled with a hint of coldness, and said, "Fellow disciples, you are extremely ruthless. Not only did you allow the demons of Lion Camel Ridge to run rampant and slaughter countless mortals, but you also cruelly forced your two junior brothers to become demons. This method is far too vicious."

The Buddha remained calm, his hands clasped together, and slowly said, “Amitabha, fellow practitioner, please do not unjustly blame this cause and effect on this humble monk. These two have secretly escaped from the caves of the two great bodhisattvas, Manjushri and Samantabhadra, and are acting as demons here. This is simply their nature, and has nothing to do with this humble monk.”

Upon hearing this, the white elephant's eyes widened in anger, and it roared, "Hmph, back then, when we were part of the Jie Sect, the two of us and our junior brother, Golden Hoop Immortal, were only following you because we didn't join Dingguang Immortal in following you, and you took your anger out on us? How could that Roc control the restrictions on our primordial spirits? Don't try to deny it!"

The white elephant's words recounted the cause and effect between the Seven Immortals and Duobao during the time of the Jie Sect. Dingguang Xian, who served the Seven Immortals, was the first to follow Duobao, while the other six, who all followed Tongtian, did not like this senior brother and were not bribed.

This created some grudges and karmic connections. After all, apart from the direct disciples, all the other disciples of the entire Jie Sect were accepted by Duobao on behalf of their master, while the Seven Attendant Immortals were not under Duobao's control.

They even repeatedly reported to Tongtian about how Duobao used Lingbao to win people's hearts, which caused the Seven Immortals to become at odds with Duobao.

For example, if Duobao and other direct disciples were ministers, then the Seven Immortals who served as attendants would be like eunuchs, which would naturally cause conflict. Therefore, apart from Dingguang Xian, none of the Seven Immortals who were captured had a good ending.

Wu Yunxian was the leader of the Seven Immortals who served him. He was eventually saved, otherwise his fate would not have been good either.

In fact, in the original Investiture of the Gods, Wuyun Xian did not have a good ending either. He was kept on Mount Ling as a goldfish for viewing, which was at least much better than the Green Lion and White Elephant.

During his time in the Jie Sect, Duobao appeared chubby and had a good temper, but he was actually very petty and held grudges. This was no secret within the Jie Sect, and the Golden Spirit Mother naturally understood it!

At this moment, Wuyun Xian stepped forward, looked at the Buddha, and shouted, "Duobao, you are despicable and shameless! You have actually forced your fellow disciples into such a state! I am the leader of the Seven Immortals. If I had a grudge against you, you could have come at me! Why take it out on your fellow disciples!"

Although even Buddha himself doesn't acknowledge these things, opinions vary, and the reasons behind them are perfectly clear to the followers of the Jie Sect.

The Chan Sect, with only a dozen or so people, could be divided into three factions; how much more so the Wanxian Jie Sect?

Golden Spirit Mother chuckled coldly and said calmly, "Fellow Daoist, you want to absolve yourself of all guilt. Such behavior is a bit too deliberate."

The Green Lion then cried out, "Senior Sister, Junior Brother Golden Hoop Immortal held fast to his original heart and never yielded, but they beat him back to his original form and eventually made him into three golden hoops. These hoops were then placed on Sun Wukong's head."

The three golden hoops are called the Golden Hoop, the Forbidden Hoop, and the Tight Hoop. The weakest one is Sun Wukong's Tight Hoop. The Golden Hoop Immortal was originally a primordial spiritual treasure in human form. Now that Sun Wukong is wearing the Tight Hoop, it is clear that the Golden Hoop Immortal has perished.

Upon hearing this, the Golden Spirit Mother frowned deeply, a hint of pity and anger flashing in her eyes. She said, "Fellow Daoist, your actions are truly heartless."

Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong was stunned. He subconsciously reached out and touched the headband on his head. His heart was filled with shock. He never expected that the headband that had been binding him had once been a person.

The Buddha remained calm and said, "There's no need to spout nonsense here. It's a foregone conclusion that Junior Brother Golden Hoop Immortal was severely injured and perished during the Great Tribulation."

The Green Lion and the White Elephant exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with determination and sorrow. They looked at the Golden Spirit Mother and said in unison, "Senior Sister, the karma we have accumulated is too heavy, and our primordial spirits have been restricted. We have been forced to grow by eating humans for hundreds of years. Now our primordial spirits have been defiled, and there is no way back. We beg Senior Sister to grant us our wish and send us to reincarnation."

After saying this, before anyone could react, the two instantly chose to self-destruct their primordial spirits. Their karma was so heavy that even becoming a god was impossible.

After seeing this, the Golden Spirit Mother could only sigh and send the two into the cycle of reincarnation. Only in this way could they be reborn and cultivate again. Otherwise, with such great karma, their lives and deaths would be in the hands of others, and they would inevitably perish in the great calamity.

Even the two of them could become targets for others to attack the Jie Sect.

The Holy Mother of Golden Spirit looked at the Buddha and the others. There were many things that didn't need to be discussed at all; both sides knew the truth.

There will no longer be any distinction between good and evil, right and wrong, because in this great war, whoever wins is righteous and whoever loses is evil. As the saying goes, the victor is king and the loser is villain; everything is judged by the outcome.

Whoever wins decides the good and evil of the three realms; whoever wins sets the principles; whoever wins has the right to define all living beings—that's all.

Guang Chengzi swept his cold gaze across the members of the Jie Sect and said, "Fellow Daoists, your existence has long stirred up trouble and is the source of chaos in the Three Realms. Today, we must settle this matter here!"

After Guang Chengzi finished speaking, the Pangu Banner in his hand suddenly trembled.

This Pangu Banner, the supreme treasure for creating the world, was now unleashed by Guang Chengzi, who was at the mid-stage of Quasi-Saint level, and it immediately displayed the power to destroy the world.

A heaven-opening blade capable of cleaving through chaos, carrying a world-destroying force, crashed down towards the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation.

As for entering the formation, one must be cautious and try to break the formation from the outside rather than entering it. The Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation of ancient times killed countless innate gods and demons.

The Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation from the Investiture of the Gods era was a joke, because the immortality of the saints fundamentally neutralized the terror of the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation.

But things are different now. There are no saints in the Three Realms now, and given the terror of the first formation, we naturally have to be extremely cautious.

Wherever the blade of energy passed, the void was easily torn apart as if by tofu, as if it were trying to forcefully break the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation under the action of external force.

The Golden Spirit Mother remained calm and coldly smiled, saying, "As expected of Guang Chengzi, you immediately define us as the root of chaos in the Three Realms. Since the Investiture of the Gods, we have only been trying to survive. Does this mean that the chaos in the Three Realms is all because of our struggle for survival? If so, why is our very existence the cause of the chaos in the Three Realms?"

Guang Chengzi sarcastically remarked, "Those who defy Heaven are unaware of their own actions!"

It wasn't that Guang Chengzi was stupid, but rather that the Chan Sect, as a sect that followed the will of Heaven, had to insist that its own path was the way of Heaven, while the existence of the Jie Sect was the way of defying Heaven.

The two religions are locked in a fierce struggle, their conflict over the right to interpret the Heavenly Dao is now reignited, aiming to resolve the cause and effect of the Investiture of the Gods and to justify their own correctness.

Golden Spirit Mother snorted coldly and said, "If that's the case, then come and break the formation, fellow Daoist. Tang Sanzang is currently inside this Zhuxian Sword Formation. As long as you can break the sword formation and rescue Tang Sanzang, you can continue your journey to the West to obtain the scriptures."

As soon as the Golden Spirit Mother finished speaking, her hands moved like phantoms, forming hand seals, and she chanted incantations.

In an instant, sword energy surged throughout the entire Zhuxian Sword Formation, and a chaotic sword energy appeared out of thin air. This sword energy exuded a destructive aura, seemingly originating from the beginning of time.

The chaotic sword energy, like a nimble divine dragon, swiftly rushed towards the Heaven-Opening Blade.

The moment the two met, time seemed to stand still. Then, a deafening roar resounded through the heavens and earth, like a star exploding.

The aftershocks of the collision caused the heavens and earth to tremble violently, and shocking spatial cracks spread through the void like hideous wounds.

Earth, water, fire, and wind seemed to receive some kind of summons, and began to surge wildly, as if reenacting the chaotic scene at the beginning of the world.

The blazing flames burned wildly, the icy water surged everywhere, the howling wind swept everything away, and the earth trembled and cracked under this force.

Faced with the sudden appearance of so many people, Sun Wukong was completely surprised. Who were these people?

Although Sun Wukong knew many truths, this was the first time he had ever witnessed such a grand spectacle and decisive battle, and he also saw what the top combat power of the Three Realms was.

Wukong dared not slacken his pace at this moment, and with a somersault, he flashed to a very far place.

With wide, discerning eyes, they watched in utter shock this battle that could be described as earth-shattering.

The scene before him made Sun Wukong feel as if he were in a terrifying scene at the beginning of chaos. Guang Chengzi continued to hold the Pangu Banner, which shone with light, as if it contained the infinite power of creating the world. One after another, the Heaven-Opening Blades were slashed out, like a golden angry dragon, with the momentum of shattering the universe, rushing towards the Zhuxian Sword Formation.

Meanwhile, the Golden Spirit Mother remained calm and composed within the formation. As she made a hand seal, streams of chaotic sword energy soared into the sky from within the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, fiercely meeting the Heaven-Opening Blade.

The moment the two collided, Sun Wukong felt an indescribable, terrifying power raging forth—a power powerful enough to make the heavens and earth pale in comparison.

A mournful lament from ancient times seemed to echo between heaven and earth. Space itself was like shattered glass, with enormous cracks spreading wildly, as if to tear the entire world to pieces. At this moment, earth, water, fire, and wind surged wildly. Flames were like pillars, capable of burning stars to ashes; water flowed like abysses, threatening to engulf heaven and earth; gale-force winds howled, as if capable of scattering all existence; the earth trembled, as if about to return to chaos.

Sun Wukong was amazed. He thought he had gone through countless hardships, met many powerful figures, and possessed incredible supernatural powers, but now he truly understood that there were still so many unfathomable and powerful beings hidden in the Three Realms.

The Taoist priest, whom he had never seen before, possessed such earth-shattering divine power with a mere casual strike, which truly broadened his horizons. At the same time, he deeply felt his own insignificance in this vast Three Realms, and his narrow worldview was also greatly expanded at this moment.

At this moment, Luo Bao Jin Qian (a type of in-game currency) successfully struck down the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife, which was a great start to the battle and also eliminated the possibility of being ambushed by the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife.

Although the final battle of the Great Calamity will not be a one-on-one fight, but a battle of the whole, it is still a huge hidden danger. If a slight opening is made, it may be attacked and suffer casualties.

Yunxiao held the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife of the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha. The knife was suppressed by Yunxiao's laws, and its light dimmed slightly.

The Great Sun Buddha watched helplessly as his precious treasure fell into the hands of others. His eyes widened in fury, and the true fire of the sun burned fiercely in his eyes, as if it would incinerate the clouds.

The Great Sun Buddha roared angrily, "Yunxiao, how dare you! You actually dared to throw away this humble monk's Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife!"

Yunxiao's expression was icy. He snorted coldly, his voice like a biting winter wind, carrying endless chill: "Back when the gods were conferred, you used the Seven Arrows of Nailhead Technique to assassinate my brother. If I don't avenge this, I, Yunxiao, will be unworthy of being a disciple of the Jie Sect! Today, I will definitely put you on the list. Do you dare to fight me?"

Yunxiao's words were resounding and powerful, echoing like a great bell even in the midst of the decisive battle.

The Great Sun Buddha was already blinded by hatred for the stolen treasure, and with Yunxiao's provocation, he could no longer restrain himself.

The Great Sun Tathagata Buddha immediately snorted coldly, and his whole body was engulfed in blazing solar fire as he replied, "What is there that this humble monk wouldn't dare to do!"

However, just as the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha was about to step forward to fight Yunxiao to the death, the Tathagata Buddha beside him looked solemn and hurriedly stopped him, saying, "Great Sun Tathagata Buddha, do not act rashly!"

At this crucial moment, we must be extremely cautious in our decisive battle. We are well aware of Yunxiao's prowess. During the Investiture of the Gods, Yunxiao's fame was so great that he was the number one figure in the Jie Sect. If the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha were to rashly engage in battle, the outcome would be unpredictable, and he might be tricked and perish. Such an event would be a tremendous blow to Buddhism.

Bixiao revealed a mocking smile and sneered mercilessly, "Heh, Great Sun Tathagata Buddha, you were so aggressive just now, what, are you scared now? Are you a coward who fears death? If you dare not fight, in this great calamity, you will forever remain a Buddha of Buddhism, never able to return to the demon race, and unable to face your father and uncles!"

Bixiao's words were like a sharp dagger, piercing straight into the pride of the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha, making the anger in the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha's heart burn even more fiercely.

"This humble monk will surely kill you!"

The Buddha immediately reassured them: "Great Sun Tathagata Buddha, the war has just begun, and the enemy's methods have not yet been revealed. We will settle the matter when things become clearer!"

"I will obey the Buddha's decree!"

The karma between Lu Ya and the Three Immortals must be settled, but now is the testing period of the Great Tribulation, and they are all testing each other to see how many tricks they have up their sleeves.

Meanwhile, in the realm of his mind, Yin Ziyu was intently watching the turbulent events of the Great Tribulation.

At this moment, the aura of the Great Calamity has swept across the entire Three Realms, conquering and vying for the future order of the Three Realms.

Just then, a beam of auspicious light descended, and Yaochi gracefully arrived, exuding an air of elegance and nobility, like a celestial flower blooming in the sky.

"The Great Celestial Venerable of Yaochi has arrived, please have a seat!"

A cloud bed rose up in front of Yin Ziyu, and Yaochi sat cross-legged on the cloud bed with her head bowed.

"I never imagined that you, fellow Daoist, had already stepped into a new realm. It is truly a cause for celebration. This realm is far beyond that of a Quasi-Saint, yet even I cannot fathom it!"

Looking at Yin Ziyu before her, Yaochi's eyes were filled with amazement. Since being conferred the title of God, he had become famous throughout the Three Realms, and his countless ingenious schemes were even more astonishing.

Now, it has entered a new realm, a new realm beyond the Dao Ancestor, how can it not be awe-inspiring?

Yin Ziyu quickly stood up, humbly cupping his hands and saying, "Your Majesty flatters me. I merely had a slight enlightenment and broke through by chance. I wonder how things are going with the Dao Ancestor?"

Yin Ziyu's expression was full of concern. The Dao Ancestor's attitude and movements were undoubtedly crucial to the current situation.

This involves the Heavenly Dao, so it is essential to understand Hongjun's true intentions.

Yaochi nodded slightly, her expression reassuring, and said, "Fellow Daoist, please rest assured, I have already gone to pay my respects to the Dao Ancestor."

Although Yaochi didn't say much, Yin Ziyu was relieved. The outcome of this great calamity meant that Haotian Yaochi truly controlled the Heavenly Court. The Heavenly Court was the face of the Heavenly Dao and also represented the manifestation of the Dao Ancestor's will.

If Haotian Yaochi is a puppet, then Hongjun's will cannot be shown to all living beings. If Haotian Yaochi can control the Heavenly Court, then it can truly represent Hongjun's will.

Outsiders know that Hongjun is the Heavenly Dao, but they don't know how much he actually controls, just as outsiders know that Hongjun is the Emperor, but they don't know how much power the Emperor actually wields.

Only when the emperor's confidants gained power and had influence outward could they truly demonstrate their authority.

Otherwise, Haotian Yaochi would have no power, Hongjun's will could not be manifested, and many things that happened in the prehistoric world, such as the collapse of Buzhou Mountain, would have to be blamed.

After all, Hongjun is the Heavenly Dao. How could he not stop such a huge event as the collapse of Buzhou Mountain? Or was it intentional on Hongjun's part?

This is where one has to take the blame. If one's own person is the Heavenly Emperor, then one can speak on behalf of Hongjun, representing Hongjun's mouth.

Upon hearing this, Yin Ziyu nodded in relief and said, "That's very good. This conferment of gods is of great importance. We should do our utmost to assist the two Great Heavenly Venerables in maintaining order in the Heavenly Court and stabilizing the foundation of the Three Realms."

Yin Ziyu didn't ask any further questions, but emphasized the exchange of benefits involved.

Upon hearing this, Yaochi's face immediately lit up with excitement, and she said, "This time, the other side has actually brought out five supreme treasures. Their momentum is overwhelming, and we should indeed be cautious."

Imagine five supreme treasures! The opponent has unleashed all their potential. Once they unleash their full power, the shock will be indescribable.

Yin Ziyu frowned slightly and said with a solemn expression, "The five treasures are definitely not their final means. Since they already knew about the existence of the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation, they must have hidden a more powerful killing move than these five treasures."

Upon hearing this, Yaochi frowned slightly and asked in confusion, "The Dao Ancestor has long established the rule that sages are not allowed to arbitrarily descend to the mortal realm to interfere. If there is no power of a sage, how can there be anything stronger than a sage's methods? After all, the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation cannot be broken without the gathering of four sages."

Yin Ziyu sighed softly and said, "Your Majesty may not know, but the realms below the Saint are not limited to Quasi-Saints. In fact, beyond those seemingly known realms, there is another world."

Yin Ziyu's words immediately stirred up a storm in Yaochi's heart.

Upon hearing this, Yaochi couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, "Really? Could it be that severing the three corpses of a Quasi-Saint is not the pinnacle of the realm below the Saint?"

Yin Ziyu shook his head: "How is that possible? How does a Quasi-Saint who has severed his three corpses compare to a Saint?"

Yaochi was taken aback, but immediately replied, "If one is not a saint, one will always be an ant!"

Yin Ziyu then asked, "So, how do these three quasi-saint corpses compare to the Heavenly Dao?"

Yaochi was immediately surprised: "Fellow Daoist, how can this be compared? Between the two, there is no difference between a Quasi-Saint's Three Corpses and a mortal in the eyes of the Heavenly Dao!"

Yin Ziyu nodded: "That's right. So, since proving the Dao requires breaking the shackles of the Heavenly Dao, how can an ant break free of those shackles? Why is severing the three corpses the limit?"

"This"

Yin Ziyu sighed, "The realm above the Great Luo Golden Immortal requires a true qualitative leap; how can the Quasi-Saint realm be a fixed one!"

Yaochi was stunned upon hearing this, because she had fallen into the fixed upgrade mode of the Three Realms.

They believed that after severing one's corpse, one becomes a quasi-saint, which is the highest realm below the saint.

For example, the distance from a Great Luo Golden Immortal to a Sage is the distance from Earth to the Sun, and the distance from a Great Luo Golden Immortal to the Heavenly Dao is the distance from Earth to Sirius. So, the height of a Quasi-Sage's Three Corpses is still below the atmosphere.

Is there no higher realm beyond that?
Therefore, without a qualitative change in speed, it would be impossible to travel from Earth to the Trisolaran Empire. Thus, the transition from a Great Luo Golden Immortal to a Primordial Chaos Immortal requires a qualitative change, while the Quasi-Saint level is not a true qualitative change.

Compared to the Great Luo Golden Immortal, it is indeed a great improvement, but this improvement is not very obvious, nor is it unattainable.

If both achieving sainthood through merit and achieving sainthood by severing the three corpses are considered gifts from Heaven, then it is enough to know just how difficult it is to prove the Dao through force.

Now both sides have started throwing their magical treasures into each other's formations, but the fundamental problem remains unresolved: the other side dares not enter the formation, fearing that they will be annihilated like the innate gods and demons of the ancient times.

The Jie Sect's strength and magical treasures were far inferior, making them simply unable to compete with them.

After all, the opponent is protected by a supreme treasure, making them invincible from the start. How can they possibly fight against that?
It can be said that nowadays, there is no longer any opportunity for one-on-one competition, because it is meaningless.

Guang Chengzi then shouted at the people inside the Zhuxian Sword Formation, his voice like thunder: "Hiding in the Zhuxian Sword Formation, you are truly cowards and timid cowards!"

Guang Chengzi's voice was like rolling thunder, echoing between heaven and earth, making the surrounding air buzz.

Yunxiao's cold voice rang out from within the formation, tinged with disdain: "I originally intended to have a decisive battle with Lu Ya to settle our grudges. I've heard that this man only knows how to assassinate in secret, but doesn't dare to fight me fair and square."

Upon hearing this, Lu Ya was so enraged that he spewed fire from all seven orifices, and the True Fire of the Sun surged wildly from his body: "Hmph, arrogant! You just want to lure this humble monk to your death, how could this humble monk fall for it!"

The Golden Spirit Mother's gaze swept over the Buddha, Grand Master Xuandu, Guang Chengzi, and the others, a slightly mocking smile playing on her lips. She said, "What? You possess five supreme treasures, yet you dare not even break the formation? Is this all the courage you have? If you continue like this, this great calamity will never end. Will you abandon your journey to the West? If so, all the better!"

The words of the Holy Mother Jinling revealed the essence of the matter: the standoff here has lasted for tens of thousands of years, so the time for the Journey to the West has passed, which means that this great calamity has been defeated without a fight.

The Buddha frowned slightly, looking solemnly at Grand Master Xuandu, and said, "Fellow Daoist Xuandu, if this stalemate continues, we will indeed be unable to break the formation. This humble monk cannot wait any longer. However, if we launch a direct attack on this formation, I fear that a tragic scene like that of the Primordial Era will occur. After all, countless innate gods and demons perished within it during the Primordial Era, each protected by supreme treasures, making it truly troublesome."

Grand Master Xuandu frowned, lost in thought. After a moment, he slowly said, "Although we possess numerous treasures, our opponent will certainly not fight us one-on-one. However, this Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation must be broken. In that case, the only way is to use the Eternal Calamity Indestructible Formation to break the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation!"

Faced with the prospect of a decisive battle, Xuandu decided to reveal his trump card directly.

Upon hearing this, the Buddha exclaimed in surprise, "The Eternal Formation? What kind of formation is this? This humble monk has never heard of it before."

Grand Master Xuandu smiled faintly and explained, "This formation was comprehended by my master to break the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation. During the Investiture of the Gods, my master personally entered the formation to explore it and deeply understood its mysteries, thus creating this formation. This formation is based on five supreme treasures, with Taiji as its foundation, Pangu as its blade, Xuanhuang as its armor, Buzhou as its anvil, and Vajra as its furnace. This formation is indestructible through countless eons; even the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation is no more than this. We can break it in one go. In the ancient times, the primordial gods and demons fought each other and perished, but they broke the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation in the process. This formation is inherently invincible, so breaking it should be a piece of cake!"

Upon hearing this, the Buddha was overjoyed and exclaimed in amazement, "Using five supreme treasures as an array—such a grand gesture has never been seen before in the primordial world!"

These five supreme treasures, which have been top-tier divine artifacts since the beginning of time, are now being used to set up an array. The power of this Eternal Calamity Array is probably unimaginable.

After all, it was clear that the Jie Sect had regained the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation after the Ullambana Festival. Moreover, the Jie Sect had neither supreme treasures nor other spiritual treasures. At this decisive moment, even if they had a few top-grade innate spiritual treasures, it would be meaningless, because they had more and higher-quality top-grade innate spiritual treasures.

The only means are the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation and Yin Ziyu's Primordial Five Elements Formation. There are no other means, not even any defensive measures. Therefore, in the final battle of the Great Tribulation, we only need to break these formations.

Since the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation and the Primordial Five Elements Formation are known, and since the Great Tribulation Battle is inevitable, how can we not make preparations? However, the Human Sect's move is indeed grand, causing almost everyone to exclaim in surprise.

Xuandu looked at the Chan Sect members and solemnly shouted, "Form the formation! The Eternal Calamity Indestructible Formation!" (End of Chapter)
