Investiture of the Gods: I am Bigan, the Master of Conspiracy
Chapter 205 Reactions from All Sides, Yin Ziyu Develops Transcendent Power
Inside the Wuzhuang Temple on Longevity Mountain, Zhen Yuanzi and several friends sat around watching the evolution of Journey to the West.
Zhen Yuanzi stroked his beard and spoke first: "Since the beginning of the Journey to the West, the Buddhist sect's plan to replace the person destined for the calamity has failed. After this battle, the Buddhist sect's situation can no longer be reversed, but Wukong's karma is accumulating more and more."
His friend, Daoist Qiongtian, shook his head helplessly: "Yes, just the two crises of Wuji Kingdom and Chechi Kingdom have left the Buddhist sect in such a sorry state. It's hard to imagine how they will proceed in the future."
Deep within the sea of blood, the Styx Ancestor and his protectors also mocked.
The Styx Ancestor sneered: "In order to appease Sun Wukong, Tathagata abandoned Ananda and Kasyapa. It was just a temporary measure. How long can it be hidden? Hmph, it's quite a good method to put them on the Investiture of the Gods. I guess Wukong still thinks Tathagata is selfless."
Kunpeng from the Northern Sea frowned: "This great calamity is truly interesting. Since the Investiture of the Gods, this great calamity is completely different from the Primordial Era. However, the Wu Clan of the Primordial Era did not know how to plan these things. But Sun Wukong has obtained some kind of opportunity, which has led to such a huge change. I really don't know how Ziyu planned to force Buddhism to its current state."
Inside the Heavenly Palace, the Jade Emperor and Yaochi sat cross-legged on a cloud bed, discussing this matter.
With the dust settled, Haotian broke the silence first: "In this matter in Chechi Kingdom, the Buddhist sect suffered heavy losses. The attempt to replace the person destined for the calamity failed, and their fortune was damaged. However, the Supreme Lord gave the Buddhist sect the fortune that had been suppressed, which is actually a good thing for me!"
Yaochi said with a slight smile, "The two troubles of Wuji Kingdom and Chechi Kingdom have made Buddhism so embarrassed. I really don't know what other schemes Ziyu has in store for the journey to the West. However, senior brother, this is a good thing. If we win the journey to the West, the two of us can truly control the Heavenly Court!"
Haotian nodded: "Although Tathagata's abandonment of Ananda and Kasyapa has temporarily stabilized Sun Wukong, it is not a long-term solution. However, Sun Wukong's strength has increased by leaps and bounds, and he has Ziyu and the Jie Sect pushing him from behind. I wonder what he will be like when he learns the truth."
Yaochi nodded slightly: "Ziyu's methods are unpredictable. This scheme has put Buddhism in a difficult situation. Perhaps the final battle is not far away. Senior brother, should we take action then?"
Haotian's expression was solemn: "Junior Sister, if we do not fight, we will forever be a laughing stock of the Heavenly Court after the humiliation of the first Peach Banquet and the grudge of scheming against Yao Ji! I am the Heavenly Emperor, how can I tolerate them making fun of us like this!"
At this moment, Buddha also knew that the fortune of Mount Ling was backfiring and that he needed to return to Mount Ling as soon as possible to resolve the issue, but the monkey was still asking questions.
Sun Wukong stared intently at the Buddha and asked directly, "Buddha, how should we deal with Ananda and Kasyapa? The entire Chechi Kingdom and Wuji Kingdom have suffered from drought for years, and the people are living in misery. It's no wonder that the three national teachers of Chechi Kingdom are angry with the monks. It's all because these two have ruined the reputation of Buddhism. We must not let them off so easily."
The Buddha Tathagata nodded slowly with a solemn expression and said in a deep voice, "Wukong, rest assured, the Buddhist precepts are strict, how could we tolerate such evil deeds?"
After speaking, the Buddha casually waved his hand, and a dazzling Buddhist light flashed by. Ananda and Kasyapa instantly turned into dust like wisps of smoke and vanished into the world.
At the same time, the two true spirits flew straight towards the Investiture of the Gods.
Sun Wukong was greatly shocked by what he saw and was astonished by the Buddha's selfless punishment of his disciple.
This made Sun Wukong, who was originally disappointed with Buddhism, suddenly feel some trust again, perhaps because the disciples below were really acting recklessly.
The explanations from Buddha and Guanyin temporarily appeased Sun Wukong's suspicions, preventing him from investigating too deeply and bringing the matter to a temporary close.
Sun Wukong was filled with awe and quickly cupped his hands, saying, "The Buddha is so selfless and impartial, I admire him to the core!"
The Buddha nodded slightly, then turned to Guanyin Bodhisattva and said, "Bodhisattva, this incident was caused by our Buddhist sect, and it is our sect's fault. You should go to Chechi Kingdom and properly appease them. In any case, it is our Buddhist sect's fault, and we must give Chechi Kingdom an explanation."
Guanyin Bodhisattva clasped her hands together, her face compassionate, and quickly said, "Amitabha, this humble monk will obey the Buddha's command."
After giving his instructions, the Buddha transformed into a golden light and instantly returned to Mount Sumeru to deal with the precarious state of destiny.
Guanyin Bodhisattva then traveled to Chechi Kingdom with Sun Wukong.
Along the way, Sun Wukong couldn't help but sigh, "Bodhisattva, that fake monkey is really powerful. When I fought him, I felt that if no one could tell who was real and who was fake, I might really lose my life at his hands."
Guanyin Bodhisattva quickly said, "Wukong, you are overthinking it. Although this humble monk cannot tell the difference for the moment, the Buddha's power is boundless and his supernatural abilities are vast. He will surely be able to distinguish the truth from the falsehood."
Sun Wukong scratched his head, his face full of doubt, and continued, "I really don't understand how that fake monkey dared to swagger off to Mount Ling. Isn't that just courting death and walking into a trap? How could he be so stupid?"
Sun Wukong's words were like a thunderclap, startling Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Guanyin knew that if this question was not explained properly, Sun Wukong would become even more suspicious of the hidden truth.
Guanyin Bodhisattva pondered for a moment and then said, "This monkey, relying on his exquisite transformation skills and the fact that no one in the Three Realms can distinguish between the real and the fake, thought that even the Buddha would find it difficult to see through. Therefore, he was audacious and dared to go to Mount Ling to try."
At this moment, Guanyin Bodhisattva also wondered how Sun Wukong could comprehend the Law of Destruction, which was completely impossible.
It can be said that the entire Buddhist sect has a complete grasp of everything about Sun Wukong, including his abilities and thoughts, and it is absolutely impossible for him to suddenly master the laws of destruction.
It can be said that the Buddhist sect and the Chan sect of Buddhism made ample preparations for the Six-Eared Macaque's scheme, and even with the intervention of the Jie sect, there was basically no way to resolve it.
Once the two monkeys truly become confused, this becomes a Buddhist version of Journey to the West. The Jie Sect has no reason to get involved. If they forcibly participate, it enters a different logic, which leads to a great battle between the two sides.
Even in a great battle, the Jie Sect could not control which of the two Wukongs was real and which was fake. It can be said that from the moment of confusion, the Buddhist sect held the power to determine the true and false Wukongs.
However, when Sun Wukong comprehended the Law of Destruction and suddenly killed Liu Er, Buddhism lost its power over truth and falsehood.
Although the Golden Spirit Mother managed to stop it, the outcome was already decided. With the Golden Spirit Mother gone, there was no point in Tathagata pursuing the Intercepting Sect any further.
Because it was impossible for Buddha to deny that Sun Wukong was an imposter after Sun Wukong killed the Six-Eared Macaque, when the outcome suddenly changed, Buddhism had no other way to deal with it except to accept it.
Because not acknowledging it is tantamount to admitting the failure of Journey to the West, which has nothing to do with others. Wukong is the one destined to face the tribulation by the will of Heaven. Even if there is confusion, it must be acknowledged that Wukong is the one destined to face the tribulation. The two are arguing about who is Wukong. If Buddhism does not acknowledge it, then the failure of Journey to the West is the responsibility of Buddhism itself.
Why did Wukong master the power of laws?
Guanyin couldn't help but ask Sun Wukong, "Wukong, you and the Six-Eared Macaque are evenly matched, but how did you learn that move that finally killed him?"
Sun Wukong's heart tightened, and he instantly remembered that the Holy Mother Jinling had instructed him not to reveal this matter.
After the Buddha's explanation, Sun Wukong was once again confused about who was better or worse, the Buddha or the Golden Spirit Mother.
In any case, the Golden Spirit Mother bestowed upon him a mysterious bead, which not only allowed him to learn this supernatural power but also helped him successfully kill the Six-Eared Macaque. No matter how you look at it, she doesn't seem like a person with malicious intent.
However, since the Buddha said he was waiting for him on Mount Ling to discern the truth, he could not deny that the Buddha was lying.
At that moment, Sun Wukong rolled his eyes and pretended not to know, saying, "I, Old Sun, am really confused. Just when I was fighting that monster, a terrifying ape suddenly appeared out of thin air in my primordial spirit and then taught me this move."
Upon hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva secretly harbored doubts.
Guanyin has cultivated for many years and is extremely proficient in the laws of heaven and earth and supernatural powers, and knows the intricacies of them.
The final move that killed the Six-Eared Macaque clearly contained profound laws of destruction. Based on Guanyin's understanding of Sun Wukong, Sun Wukong should not have mastered the power of laws so easily.
The power of laws is not so easy to master, let alone the law of destruction. Without a magical treasure containing the law of destruction, it is impossible to master the law of destruction.
There are very few magical treasures containing the laws of destruction in the primordial world.
Furthermore, Sun Wukong didn't even understand what laws were, let alone master the power of laws, let alone master them so quickly.
Moreover, Sun Wukong had already lost his original power through numerous hardships, so logically speaking, it was impossible for him to suddenly regain his original supernatural abilities.
There must be a secret hidden here, but Sun Wukong refused to reveal the truth, and Guanyin Bodhisattva could not force him to ask. She could only bury this doubt deep in her heart, but on the surface, she remained calm and continued to travel with Sun Wukong toward Chechi Kingdom.
Upon arriving in Chechi Kingdom, Guanyin Bodhisattva was enveloped in auspicious light, her compassionate face exuding authority without anger, as she slowly descended from the clouds.
Upon seeing this, Tang Sanzang immediately knelt down to greet him with utmost devotion.
At this time, the new crown prince of Chechi Kingdom had ascended the throne, and he was filled with trepidation when facing such a revered Buddhist deity.
Guanyin Bodhisattva surveyed the crowd with compassionate eyes and slowly spoke: "The calamity that befell Chechi Kingdom this time was truly due to a monk in our Buddhist sect who strayed from the path of compassion and forgot his original intention of saving all sentient beings, thus causing this disaster. The Buddha has now punished him, and the killing of the king was done by a demon disguised as Wukong, who was also a monkey. Wukong has already killed him. Although Tiger Power Immortal, Deer Power Immortal, and Sheep Power Immortal were not human, but demons who had attained enlightenment, their self-destruction will allow them to be listed on the Investiture of the Gods, and they will be able to become gods in the future. You do not need to be too sad!"
After Guanyin finished speaking, she paused briefly, a hint of regret in her eyes, and continued, "As for the three national teachers' actions of killing the monks, although their methods were excessive, there were reasons for it. This is the fault of Buddhism, and it serves as a warning to Buddhism. The monks of Wuji Kingdom developed greedy minds, and eventually came to Chechi Kingdom, only to bring Chechi Kingdom to the brink of destruction."
Guanyin's words acknowledged the deceased king's account, stating that the root cause was the greed of the monks from Wuji Kingdom. After Wuji Kingdom was expelled, these monks corrupted Chechi Kingdom. Ananda and Kasyapa, being attendants of the Buddha, were enraged by the destruction of Chechi Kingdom and wanted to kill the three demons, which led to the inevitable death of Sun Wukong and the three demons.
It can be considered a Buddhist self-reproach edict, in which the monk personally admits his mistakes to ordinary people.
Upon hearing Guanyin Bodhisattva's words, the new king had some doubts, but considering the majesty of Buddhism and the compassionate name of Guanyin Bodhisattva, he ultimately chose to accept the explanation.
Subsequently, the new king hurriedly ordered someone to fetch the travel documents and personally replaced them for Tang Sanzang and his companions with great respect.
After receiving the travel permit, Tang Sanzang and his companions bowed and thanked Guanyin Bodhisattva and the new king.
After everything was settled, Tang Sanzang and his disciples resumed their journey to the West.
The incident in Chechi Kingdom served as a sacrifice for Buddhism, who sacrificed two scapegoats and admitted their mistakes to overcome the ordeal. Sun Wukong was quite satisfied with the outcome, believing that Buddhism was still very righteous. The incidents in Chechi Kingdom and Wuji Kingdom were simply an accident that he happened to encounter.
Although Sun Wukong still had countless questions, the matter of Chechi Kingdom was temporarily put to rest. Since Buddha himself had pointed out the culprit, Sun Wukong could no longer investigate.
The Jie Sect and Yin Ziyu naturally did not pursue the matter further, since the Journey to the West had to continue, and Yin Ziyu was content with what he wanted.
As for Wukong, it's not time for him to know the truth yet. The truth will be discovered by Wukong himself. The blame for hindering the Journey to the West cannot fall on Yin Ziyu and the Jie Sect.
After Buddha and Guanyin returned to Mount Ling, the situation on Mount Ling was temporarily stabilized thanks to the fortune of Laozi, but the underlying forces had quietly changed.
All the Buddhas gathered together, and the atmosphere was solemn.
Dipankara Buddha was the first to rise, his face solemn, and he put his hands together and said, "Amitabha, this humble monk has indeed made a mistake in his attempt to replace Wukong. Please punish me, Buddha!"
The Buddha shook his head slightly, his expression calm but unable to hide a trace of melancholy, and said, "Ancient Buddha, there is no need to blame yourself so much. This plan should have been foolproof, and Wukong has indeed become a hidden danger to Buddhism, to the point where it is necessary to replace him. However, this miscalculation was not due to the Ancient Buddha, but rather because Sun Wukong caused an unexpected change."
Guanyin Bodhisattva frowned slightly, and then said, "Buddha, Sun Wukong should not have suddenly mastered the Law of Destruction. This is the key reason why the plan failed. With Wukong's previous cultivation and foundation, it is absolutely impossible for him to master such profound power of the law in a short period of time."
Manjushri Bodhisattva echoed solemnly, "Buddha, as everyone knows, Wukong has lost his original essence. Yet, when he fought the Six-Eared Macaque, the supernatural powers he displayed were clearly signs of his original essence awakening. And the Golden Spirit Mother appeared at that critical moment, using the Immortal Slaughtering Sword Formation to stop you, Buddha. Clearly, this was a scheme by the Jie Sect. The Jie Sect's intervention this time was to reverse the tide, but we don't know how they managed to awaken Wukong's original essence!"
Upon hearing this, all the Buddhas wore grave expressions. This was the most crucial element; how exactly did the Jie Sect manage to accomplish this?
Success or failure hinges on a single moment, yet that single moment of success or failure has led to such irreversible consequences.
The Buddha closed his eyes and pondered for a moment, then slowly opened them and said, "Although the actions of the Jie Sect have disrupted our Buddhist plans, the general trend of the world cannot be controlled by one party alone. We must plan carefully and not lose our composure. As for how the Jie Sect enabled Wukong to control the power of the laws, it is clear that Wukong had no control over the laws before, but suddenly possessed them. How the Jie Sect accomplished this is indeed impossible to deduce. However, regardless of the circumstances, things have come to this point, and we can only deal with the future troubles!"
Dipankara sighed, "Buddha, now Wukong has not only had his original source restored, but he has even obtained the Six-Eared Macaque's original source. His cultivation has increased to the mid-stage of the Great Luo realm, and he will be uncontrollable in the future. The Red-Bottomed Macaque has been suppressed on Turtle Mountain. Unless Wukong is replaced by this monkey, there is no hope for this situation!"
The Buddha shook his head helplessly: "This strategy is still acceptable, but we have already lost the initiative. The Red-Bottomed Macaque is no match for Wukong now. Although it is the only chance to resolve Wukong's hidden dangers, we cannot do it. The Six-Eared Macaque can be caught off guard, but the Red-Bottomed Macaque is in broad daylight! Once we lose the initiative, it is too late to do it again!"
Using the six-eared macaque has the effect of surprise, but using the red-bottomed macaque is almost like burying one's head in the sand.
Furthermore, the Six-Eared Macaque has a need to continue acquiring an identity, while the Red-Bottomed Macaque belongs to the demon race and has no such need at all.
This slim chance is nothing more than wishful thinking.
At this moment, Mi Fei was discussing the outcome of the Chechi Kingdom disaster with the members of the Jie Sect.
Bixiao Fairy frowned slightly, her tone revealing a hint of emotion: "I never expected that Tathagata would use Ananda and Kasyapa, those two attendants, to take this responsibility."
Mi Fei smiled gently and said, "It's nothing more than a show for Wukong. This behavior is just to win over Wukong's heart. If we don't do this, Wukong will definitely doubt the justice of Buddhism. In that case, Tang Sanzang will also lose his devout faith in Buddhism. Tathagata's move is also a helpless one."
Making Ananda and Kasyapa take the blame was not for the sake of the Kingdom of Chechi, but for the sake of Sun Wukong.
If Wukong had successfully replaced Liu Er, this situation would not have occurred. However, since the replacement failed, we should not be held back by Wukong's feelings. We can only make a sacrifice to prevent Wukong from continuing to cause trouble over this matter.
Otherwise, Wukong would inevitably be disappointed in Buddhism, and then the fortunes of Buddhism would be lost. This is the most crucial factor.
The Holy Mother of Golden Spirits nodded solemnly: "The failure of this plan to replace Wukong has caused Tathagata to completely lose the opportunity to reverse the situation. This series of twists and turns has also made the fortune of Buddhism unstable, and even Laozi did not hesitate to use the power of suppressing the fortune of the Three Realms to make up for it at Mount Ling."
Fairy Yunxiao revealed a faint smile and slowly said, "This matter is wonderful. Laozi suppresses a great deal of fortune, but now he is using it to compensate for the fortune of Mount Ling. However, Mount Ling does not have any treasures to suppress fortune. In this way, this part of the fortune can be considered to flow into the Three Realms. If this fortune flows into the Three Realms, it will be an opportunity for all living beings in the Three Realms."
A hint of approval flashed in Mi Fei's eyes as she said, "To attain enlightenment, one needs great fortune. The calamity in Chechi Kingdom this time has provided countless opportunities for planning, which is truly ingenious. It has not only disrupted the Buddhist sect's plans but also caused a change in the overall situation of the Three Realms. Although the Journey to the West is still continuing, it is simply nearing its end."
The Golden Spirit Mother couldn't help but sigh, "The flow of fortune is such that if Ziyu can attain enlightenment, this will be the greatest opportunity!"
Wu Yunxian nodded and said, "What the Headmaster Sister said is very true. The Buddhist sect is now the key to the order of heaven and earth in this great calamity. The Human Sect and the Chan Sect cannot allow it to perish. They must save it with the Qi Luck. The Qi Luck suppressed by the Taiji Diagram of the Supreme Lord Laozi is the Qi Luck of the Heavenly Dao. Since the Journey to the West has not been completed, it is necessary to use this Qi Luck to save it. In this way, we can also follow the story of Xiqi!"
"Imitating the story of Xiqi is a good idea!"
Everyone burst into laughter upon hearing this.
When the gods were first enfeoffed, Xiqi's foundation was gone, and the Chan Sect and the Human Sect could only try to make up for it with their own fortune.
The biggest blow to Buddhism is the foundation of the nation, and the uncontrollable threat of Sun Wukong is enough to allow the Heavenly Dao's fortune to be continuously replenished. Since Buddhism has no treasure to suppress the fortune, once it miscalculates, the fortune will collapse and flow into the primordial world.
The more prosperous Yin Ziyu and the Jie Sect become, the more their fortune will inevitably flow in both directions. This can be considered as fulfilling Yin Ziyu's original plan that Sun Wukong was the one destined to face the calamity, and that he would use Wukong to seize the fortune of the Heavenly Dao.
Faced with such a major defeat, the Buddha Tathagata looked solemn and specially invited Laozi, the Grand Master Xuandu, and Guangchengzi.
The Buddha sighed deeply and said with a sense of helplessness, "Amitabha, I originally intended to replace Wukong to complete the great Journey to the West, but I did not expect that the Jie Sect would cause such a complication. Now that Wukong has killed Liu Er, he will surely know the truth in the future. On this journey to the West, Wukong is completely unrestrained. This failure has caused doubts from all sides of the Three Realms, which is why the fortune has been lost. I really do not know how they planned and laid out their schemes. I hope that the Supreme Lord Laozi will not hesitate to give me some guidance."
Upon hearing this, Laozi nodded slightly and then began to deduce the truth using his fingers.
The Supreme Lord's aura swirled, faintly emanating from the Xuanhuang Qi. After a moment, he slowly spoke, "The transformation of Wukong indeed originated from the Jie Sect, caused by the awakening of its original essence. When Wukong went from the Heavenly Court to Flower Fruit Mountain, he inexplicably disappeared for a moment, and this variable arose from that moment. I am also deeply surprised as to how Wukong's original essence, which had been lost, was regained."
Laozi narrowed his eyes slightly and fell into deep thought. Even Laozi, the Supreme Lord, could not know how Wukong had survived such a desperate situation during the great calamity.
"Please allow me to inquire of the Venerable One and deduce this matter."
Everyone watched him intently, perhaps only the Supreme Sage could deduce the outcome.
Before long, Laozi slowly opened his eyes, his gaze sharp as lightning, and said, "Through my deduction, the loss of Wukong's essence is actually related to Wukong's experiences after his birth. At that time, Ziyu was setting up the Hunyuan Five Elements Formation, but he was attracted by the commotion of Wukong's birth and captured his essence power. This process lasted for three hundred years, during which Wukong's essence was constantly being divided and captured."
The Buddha frowned, his face full of doubt, and asked, "How is this possible? After Wukong's original essence flowed out, it must have been mixed with acquired spiritual energy, so it should be unusable. How did Ziyu manage to do it?"
Sun Wukong's innate essence is most vulnerable to anything acquired later in life; it cannot be used even if it is slightly contaminated. This is why Subhuti was so careless.
Furthermore, this essence is so precious that no one can extract it after it has been mixed with acquired elements.
Laozi sighed again, his expression complex, and said, "If it were anyone else, they would naturally be unable to do it, but only this person could succeed. Ziyu not only has the Hunyuan Five Elements Formation, but he has also thoroughly sorted out the origin of the five elements of the primordial world, and his attainments in this area have reached a great level. Because of this, even if Wukong's origin is mixed with acquired spiritual energy, he can easily sort it out."
Upon hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva immediately became tense and hurriedly asked, "Could it be that this person already knew that Buddhism intended to scatter Wukong's original essence? Is that why he made this preparation? If so, this person's scheme is truly inconceivable!"
Laozi slowly shook his head and said, "It's not necessarily because he knew beforehand. It should be because he acted in accordance with the situation when the other party rearranged the Hunyuan Five Elements Formation. However, no one expected that this person would not only fail to refine Wukong's origin himself, but would also remain until now. This is the reason why the plan to replace Wukong failed this time."
The Buddha was now even more serious, looking solemnly at Laozi and saying, "Laozi, things have come to this point, and the situation is beyond saving. Regarding the Journey to the West, the Jie Sect promised to create five tribulations, and the second tribulation has already caused Buddhism to lose its momentum. Now, all beings in the Three Realms have doubts about the Journey to the West, and Buddhism's fortune is also in a state of collapse. If the Jie Sect wins this time, I'm afraid the order of heaven and earth will have to be surrendered, and the three sects' lineage will also be difficult to continue. I hope that you, Laozi, can offer your guidance."
Upon hearing what the Buddha said, everyone turned their gaze to Laozi, waiting to see how he would resolve the crisis.
There will inevitably be a final battle, but it should not be a battle fought when the momentum is greatly weakened.
Lao Tzu looked solemn, closed his eyes slightly, and fell into deep thought.
A moment later, Laozi slowly opened his eyes, his gaze sharp as he surveyed the crowd, and said, "This great calamity has now become a contest between the hearts of all beings and the great power of the Heavenly Dao. They are attempting to turn Mount Ling into what was once Xiqi, in order to disrupt the universe and reshape the order. Although this matter seems thorny, it is not without a solution. This Ziyu seeks to unite the hearts of all beings, but he has already revealed his intention to overthrow the Heavenly Dao. If they truly have this intention, what is there to fear!"
Lao Tzu's words were calm and powerful. Although he did not provide a solution for the group, they seemed to convey a sense of composure and certainty that he had seen through the future calamity, giving everyone a sense of reassurance.
This means that Yin Ziyu and the Jie Sect are on the side of overthrowing the Heavenly Dao. If that's the case, then the Great Calamity has the Heavenly Dao to back it up.
The Buddha pondered for a moment and said, "If that's the case, then in dealing with the great calamity to come, we, as the side of the Heavenly Order, will force them to the side that overthrows the Heavenly Order. If we accomplish this, then our current setback will be insignificant."
The Supreme One then said, "When the enemy has nowhere left to retreat, that will be the time for the final battle, and also the time when the will of Heaven descends!"
"good"
"."
At this time, the general situation of the world is clear and bright. There are no more messy things. It is simply that Yin Ziyu's path to enlightenment is to break through all the shackles of the Heavenly Dao. The Supreme Being naturally understands this.
Despite the numerous karmic entanglements at present, once Yin Ziyu successfully breaks through to the next realm, he will be able to rival the order of Heaven.
Therefore, Laozi (Taishang Laojun) has no need to be anxious about this; when the time comes, he can simply destroy it.
At this moment, the victory of Chechi Kingdom in the realm of the mind has united the will of all living beings, and the fire of humanity is even more powerful. Yin Ziyu is enveloped in divine light.
The flame of humanity burned fiercely, like a blazing sun, releasing a vast and intense power that illuminated the surrounding void in a crimson glow.
At this moment, Yin Ziyu is breaking through to a new realm. Even Laozi, the Supreme Lord, is entangled in the cause and effect of faith, let alone others.
This made Yin Ziyu's mental realm more prosperous, and also made the idealistic path of emotions flourish. The fire of humanity also became stronger, giving Yin Ziyu a faster breakthrough.
There was no time to lose; Yin Ziyu didn't have much time. The humanitarian spirit brought about by the various impacts of the "delayed journey" had increased tenfold.
With the help of the Human Flame, Yin Ziyu's Seven Apertures Exquisite Heart is breaking through to a new realm, a new path of evolution beyond the Dao Ancestor.
The evolutionary path of the Dao Ancestor first cuts off good and evil, and finally cuts off the self, completely entering a state of no-condition, viewing the world with the eyes of the Heavenly Dao, which is to say strip away human nature to conform to the Heavenly Dao!
This is the final form of severing the three corpses, and since Hongjun preached three times, everyone has actually been rushing in this direction.
The Path of Ruthlessness severs the good and evil corpses. After severing good, there is no good. Being without good means having no pity when seeing sentient beings being slaughtered. After severing evil, one will not have malicious intent to steal treasures, and everything will follow the law of cause and effect.
However, this nature still remains within the self; once the self is severed, there is no longer any independent mind.
The Way of the Mind goes against the grain; it does not aim to eliminate good and evil, but rather to see through them. As the saying goes, the mind in its original state is neither good nor evil, but the actions of good and evil can elevate it.
If this evolutionary path is successfully broken, it will have an impact on the Three Realms as if the world were created anew, and it will inevitably cause an earthquake in the Three Realms.
This would cause all beings to reflect on the Way of Heaven, and wonder if such cultivation is truly correct.
But now that Yin Ziyu has come this far, he must truly make this path work.
At this moment, light flowed through Yin Ziyu's fifth aperture, and a strange power was slowly gathering towards the sixth aperture.
As the power continued to gather, the sixth aperture began to shimmer with a faint white light. Although the light was not dazzling, it exuded an indescribable power.
This is a power that transcends the laws, gathering at the sixth aperture, causing Yin Ziyu's primordial spirit to also display boundless white light.
Gradually, the white light grew stronger and stronger, and the power emanating from it far exceeded the power of the laws controlled by a Great Luo Golden Immortal.
This power contained a faint, almost imperceptible, transcendent force, as if it did not belong to the primordial world, but rather came from a higher dimension.
This power is like a gentle breeze, yet it contains the strength to break the shackles of heaven and earth; it is like a glimmer of light, yet it is enough to illuminate endless darkness.
This transcendent power seems to be breaking some kind of established constraint, leading Yin Ziyu towards a completely new realm.
Yin Ziyu felt this power flowing through his body, feeling both delighted and cautious.
With the final battle to settle scores at the end of the Journey to the West, time is running out. We must break through to a new realm as soon as possible. Victory in this great calamity will bring us closer to attaining enlightenment.
Of course, it is impossible to attain enlightenment in one or two decades. After Hongjun defeated Longhan, he cultivated diligently until long after the emergence of the Lich King before attaining enlightenment.
Once Yin Zi breaks through and wins this great calamity, it will be equivalent to opening a new path of evolution, and proving the Dao will only be a matter of time. (End of this chapter)
