Investiture of the Gods: I am Bigan, the Master of Conspiracy

Chapter 198 The power of the Mind Realm shakes the three realms, and Buddha panics.

Chapter 198 The power of the Mind Realm shakes the Three Realms, even Buddha is panicked!
Yin Ziyu and Luo Shen had been watching this contest closely. As the first major battle of the tribulations between the East and West, both Yin Ziyu and Jinling Shengmu were well prepared.

If the other party upgrades, Yin Ziyu must also upgrade as soon as possible.

Sun Wukong's first strike of the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife was blocked by Yin Ziyu's mental barrier. The Demon-Summoning Banner is not a defensive spiritual treasure and could not stop the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife.

As a top-grade innate spiritual treasure, the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife requires at least a defensive spiritual treasure of the same level, such as the Four Lotus Platforms, the Lotus Lantern, the Earth Book, or the Five Directions Flag, to block it.

Since its creation, the Mind Realm has been nourished by the pure Mind Power of the people of Yin Shang, and with the influx of countless Mind Cult apostles, the entire Mind Realm has grown rapidly.

After the Hundred Schools of Thought contended, the Mind Sect became the greatest sect among all living beings. However, the Chan Sect did not uphold martial virtue and ended the Hundred Schools of Thought contending by force. Afterwards, it formed a group that suppressed the Hundred Schools of Thought, which prevented Yin Ziyu from integrating the human race through unorthodox missionary work.

Of course, Yin Ziyu knew that the sage would not allow it, nor would Heaven allow it, and he had no intention of using it to restore his country.

However, this resulted in a large number of people from the Heart Cult, whom Yin Ziyu called Heart Cult Apostles. These people were the purest source of Heart Power in the Heart Realm.

The greatest energy in the realm of the mind is not spiritual energy, nor anything else, but the source power of the mind, which is rooted in the hearts of all beings.

At the same time, the power of the mind is also the fundamental source of all idealism.

As the saying goes, "When the dragon appears in the field, it is auspicious to see a great man." Now is the time for the mind to truly reveal itself in the Three Realms.

This is a world completely different from the material plane, and the apostles of the Heart Cult can freely travel between the material plane and the Heart Realm.

This battle in Wuji Kingdom marks the true debut of the Mind Realm before all beings in the Three Realms. The good and bad of the Mind Realm will now be judged by all beings in the Three Realms.

In this degenerate age, whoever can walk the path of evolution will win the hearts of all beings and possess the future.

Yin Ziyu has also decided to use his desire to win over all living beings to open his own Hunyuan Path, and then achieve Hunyuan to perfect the great reckoning of cause and effect in the prehistoric world, ultimately giving back to the prehistoric world.

At this moment, the entire Mind Realm formed a connection in a certain place in the Kingdom of Wuji.

The deeper one goes, the more the entire realm of the mind becomes filled with drifting, floating energy, as pure as frost and snow. These strands, like dreamlike veils, permeate the entire space.

Bai Suzhen was caught in the middle of it all. As the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife was unleashed, boundless inner power rapidly converged like rivers flowing into the sea.

In the blink of an eye, a majestic Chaos Bell appeared out of thin air.

At the same time, condensing a supreme innate treasure has a strong backlash, directly causing Bai Suzhen to lose her human form and become a half-demon with a human body and a snake tail, standing about ten thousand feet tall.

This Chaos Bell has an ancient and mysterious design, with a towering height of tens of thousands of feet, resembling an ancient divine mountain emerging from the sky.

The bell is covered with countless mysterious runes and strange patterns, seemingly telling the endless mysteries since the beginning of time.

The runes shimmered, resonating with the surrounding spiritual energy, exuding an awe-inspiring majesty.

At the bell's handle, two lifelike kui dragons intertwine, their mouths wide open, as if about to unleash a deafening roar.

The bell is surrounded by layers of chaotic mist, within which stars faintly twinkle, seemingly containing the wonders of the universe.

Meanwhile, the Great Sun Buddha, who was secretly observing the battle, exclaimed in surprise: "The Chaos Bell! No, this is not the Chaos Bell! My uncle's Chaos Bell could not be in her hands. This is fake. How can it be so realistic?"

Not only was the Great Sun Buddha shocked, but everyone in the Three Realms was also shocked, and some powerful demons were also extremely shocked at this moment.

What is this Bai Suzhen with a human body and a snake tail, holding a demon-summoning banner in one hand and a chaos bell in the other?

This is an excellent lineup for a demon emperor. Nuwa and Fuxi were once the four emperors of the demon race, and now that Bai Suzhen has been revealed, it will definitely make countless demons kneel down in worship.

This gave Bai Suzhen a powerful buff, the significance of which caused everyone in the Three Realms to gasp in astonishment.

It seems that all parties in the Three Realms have witnessed the rise of a new Demon Emperor.

At this moment, the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife, carrying a terrifying, world-destroying power, slashed fiercely towards the Chaos Bell like a white streak of death.

This Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife possesses the power to slay immortals and gods; wherever it passes, space shatters as if unable to withstand its sharpness.

However, when the flying knife struck the Chaos Bell, it produced a muffled, loud thud, like the clang of metal against metal, which shook the void.

What's astonishing is that the supposedly indestructible flying knife was embedded perfectly still in the bell, as if it had struck the hardest barrier in the world.

The attack aimed to slay Bai Suzhen's primordial spirit but could not penetrate even slightly. This attack shocked the Three Realms, because although the Chaos Bell was fake, it truly had the ability to block the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife.

Seeing this, Bai Suzhen waved her hand and gently struck the Chaos Bell.

In an instant, a melodious yet terrifying bell tolled, like the primordial sound of the beginning of time, containing endless power of destruction and rebirth.

A tangible wave of energy, resembling a bell, rapidly spread outwards in a ring from the center of the Chaos Bell.

Wherever it passed, space collapsed like shattered glass.

Sun Wukong was the first to be hit, and was instantly struck by the terrifying bell wave.

This made Sun Wukong feel an overwhelming force surging towards him, like the full force of an ancient ferocious beast, which he could not resist at all.

Like a kite with a broken string, he flew backward uncontrollably, tracing a long arc in the void and smashing countless strange objects formed from the condensation of mental energy along the way.

Sun Wukong steadied himself, his face filled with horror.

With wide, fiery eyes, he stared in disbelief at the Chaos Bell before him: "What kind of treasure is this that can withstand the Immortal-Slaying Flying Knife!"

Bai Suzhen looked calmly at Sun Wukong and asked, "Now you can calm down and talk properly, instead of just shouting for battle?"

Sun Wukong, who had just obtained the treasure, felt utterly defeated upon seeing the Chaos Bell above Bai Suzhen's head, but still said, "Hmph, you monster, what do I, Old Sun, have to say to you?"

Bai Suzhen looked at Sun Wukong with a questioning expression and said, "Back then, the Great Sage Equaling Heaven was so heroic, gathering demons from all directions on Flower Fruit Mountain. But now, why do you indiscriminately attack and kill demons? What is the reason for this change in you?"

Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong was slightly taken aback, then chuckled and said, "Back then, I, Old Sun, swore brotherhood with the seven great demon kings, each calling ourselves Great Sages. How carefree and joyful we were! At that time, the Heavenly Court sent troops to besiege Flower Fruit Mountain, and countless of my monkey followers were killed or wounded. These were all my children, yet not a single one of my so-called sworn brothers came to lend me a hand. Later, I was suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years, a full five hundred years! And not a single brother came to visit me. They are so heartless and ungrateful, how could I, Old Sun, possibly remember any old friendships?"

At this point, Sun Wukong thought to himself, "That mountain shepherd boy often brought me peaches to eat, and I will always remember his kindness. Looking back on our journey westward, I have encountered too many monsters. They eat mortals and treat human life as worthless. Shouldn't they be killed for such evil deeds?"

Bai Suzhen sighed after hearing this: "Those who are self-righteous are not wise, and those who are self-assured are not distinguished!"

Sun Wukong was taken aback: "What do you mean by this?"

Bai Suzhen looked at Sun Wukong seriously and said, "You take your own good as good and your own evil as evil, but do you know what true good and evil are?"

Sun Wukong was taken aback upon hearing this and looked at Bai Suzhen, asking, "What do you mean by this?"

Bai Suzhen then said, "Since that's the case, let's stick to the facts. Just because your sworn brother doesn't care about you, does that mean you're not wrong?"

"What wrong have I, Old Sun, done?"

Bai Suzhen then said, "Back then, you and your brothers swore brotherhood, all calling each other Great Sage. Did you know that this was an act of defying Heaven? Did those demon kings accompany you in defying Heaven not only show loyalty and righteousness?"

Sun Wukong had never thought of that before, and nodded: "They are loyal and righteous!"

Bai Suzhen continued, "You all just became sworn brothers and called yourselves Great Sages. The other Great Sages are fine, they're just titles. But the Bull Demon King even calls himself the Great Sage Who Pacifies Heaven, wanting to balance the heavens. This act of righteousness is praised by all the demon kings of the Three Realms. Can you imagine how much the Bull Demon King has sacrificed for you and how much risk he has taken?"

Bai Suzhen's words suddenly made Sun Wukong wake up as if from a dream. It seemed that Sun Wukong had never considered these things. At that time, Sun Wukong underestimated the Heavenly Court and did not think that the Heavenly Court was anything special. He also overlooked how great the risk of the Bull Demon King was.

Although Haotian and Yaochi do not have much power in the Heavenly Court, the Heavenly Court does not belong solely to Haotian and Yaochi, but is the supreme entity that maintains the order of the Three Realms.

It's alright for Sun Wukong to call himself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. This is because Sun Wukong is the one destined to face calamity, and this is also why the Heavenly Court condones him. If anyone else dares to rebel against Heaven, just try it.
Anyone who dares to challenge the order of Heaven is courting death.

Sun Wukong remained defiant: "What do you mean by that? I, Old Sun, admit they are loyal!"

Bai Suzhen shook her head helplessly: "I really don't know if you did it on purpose or not. On the first day, you all called yourselves Great Sages, and on the second day, you, Sun Wukong, were granted amnesty and made the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. But have you thought about your sworn brothers even a little bit? Have you even given them the slightest consideration?"

It's like this: today you gather a lot of brothers to rebel, and the brothers and their entire families fight you to the death. On the first day, you raise your banner, but on the second day, you grant them amnesty and swagger off to take up your post, leaving the brothers bewildered in the wind.

You've left, but the order of Heaven cannot be trampled upon. What will happen to your other brothers? What will happen to their entire families?
Although Song Jiang rebelled, he still thought of taking his brothers ashore when he was trying to obtain amnesty. However, after Song Jiang and his brothers made a name for themselves, he simply packed up and went to seek amnesty, leaving a group of Liangshan brothers to become rebels.

Sun Wukong was stunned for a moment after hearing this, but he had not yet grasped the key point. During the competition, all six other demon kings had defeated him, and Sun Wukong thought that the Heavenly Court was nothing special, so he did not think much of his brothers.

This is because Sun Wukong had a huge information gap in his mind. It's not that Sun Wukong was truly heartless and ruthless, but rather that the wrong information gap led to all of this.

The Heavenly Court would eventually have to deal with this matter. Since the Heavenly Soldiers who were monitoring the four directions had seen someone rebelling, they would inevitably have to deal with it. Someone had to settle this matter, and given the Bull Demon King's identity and his relationship with the Jie Sect, it was naturally the Jie Sect that would handle it.

Of course, objectively speaking, Sun Wukong's actions were indeed unethical, which aroused the hatred of the demon realm. Naturally, this also severed his ties with the demons, and from now on, he can only devote himself to Buddhism.

Bai Suzhen, having received Nuwa's Demon-Summoning Banner and descending to the mortal realm, naturally knew everything that had happened in the demon realm.

So it's no wonder that when Sun Wukong was wiped out, no one came to help him, and it's no wonder that all the demons in the Three Realms avoided him like the plague.

However, after Sun Wukong was suppressed, no one came to see him. His former glory vanished like smoke. Later, Tang Sanzang released Sun Wukong and he followed him on the journey to the West. This meant that Sun Wukong had not reflected on his centuries of suppression and instead began to hate the demon race.

Another issue is the calamities arranged by Guanyin over the years. Because of the series of lies that came before, there can only be more lies being piled up.

This is the root of the problem that caused Sun Wukong to harbor resentment towards the Seven Great Sages, and the reason why he encountered monsters that ate people along the way, and why he wanted to fight and kill any monsters he encountered in Wuji Kingdom.

It is true that the lower-level demon race cultivates by feeding on blood, and eating countless people is the norm.

Hearing this from a different perspective, Sun Wukong immediately asked, "Could it be that my sworn brothers hate me because of this? The Heavenly Court is nothing special; how can they be so narrow-minded?"

After hearing this, Bai Suzhen said, "Narrow-minded? Perhaps you will know in the future whether you are unaware of it or they are narrow-minded. You came to Wuji Kingdom this time, how much do you know about the affairs of Wuji Kingdom? I can only say, don't advise others to be kind if you haven't experienced their suffering!"

Sun Wukong asked, "What happened in Wuji Kingdom?"

Bai Suzhen looked in one direction and said, "Please, Your Majesty, explain this yourself!"

At this moment, the king also arrived, and Tang Sanzang and his two companions also arrived.

Seeing the king arrive, Sun Wukong was somewhat surprised, as were all the parties in the Three Realms. They all had questions about where this calamity was headed.

Bai Suzhen simply shouted, "Disperse!"

In an instant, the Chaos Bell, which was formed by the convergence of endless source power, dissipated and transformed into the source power of this mental realm.

This scene immediately astonished everyone in the Three Realms, who were filled with curiosity about everything in this new world.

After looking at it, Zhen Yuanzi murmured, "This Mind Realm seems to be different. The source can be used at will, and it disperses when it is used up. Although it needs to gather the source power of all living beings, it can be used by all living beings! This simple path of faith is completely different!" At this moment, Zhen Yuanzi saw the novelty of the Mind Realm, which overturned the paradox that the path of faith requires all living beings to be ignorant.

Although Bai Suzhen suffered a backlash from using her inner power to gather the Chaos Bell, at least the power gathered by all living beings was returned to the Heart Realm after it was used up.

At this moment, all beings in the Three Realms instantly saw a peculiar sight from this realm of mind: here, by relying on their own minds, they could obtain what they wanted and experience what they wanted to experience.

Although there will be some backlash, or even the inability to access the material world.

However, this realm of the mind is not like the Saha world, which bewitches sentient beings to have faith and extracts their human merits.

To put it simply, spiritual energy is like gasoline, and when energy is depleted, faith is like renewable ethanol gasoline. All living beings are the producers, providing ethanol gasoline in the cycle of reincarnation to sustain the existence of the gods and immortals in the three realms.

The value of all living beings lies in providing faith for immortals and deities, and the higher the cultivation level of an immortal or deity, the higher the requirement for purity.

However, the existence of the mental realm is somewhat similar to faith, but what the mental realm needs is mental energy.

The source power of the mind realm requires only idealism. Idealism amplifies obsessions. The greater the obsession, the more source power it generates. Obsessions are the fuel, and the fire of the mind forges the Dao. This is the origin of the mind realm.

Therefore, the origin of the mind lies in the strength of the attachments of sentient beings.

As for what faith is, faith is non-attachment, non-self, and having only Buddha in one's heart. It may seem similar, but in fact, they are completely different.

Ultimately, the great path of faith is still the manifestation of the ruthless path from saints to all sentient beings. Sentient beings do not need to have a self. Yin Ziyu's state of mind is somewhat similar to faith, but it belongs to the path of emotion, which requires constantly strengthening one's own mind.

This is like when one is sick, one sincerely prays to Buddha to cure the illness and is determined to find a good medicine to live on.

The two faiths may seem similar, both relying on all living beings, but their core is completely different, and their attitudes toward all living beings are also completely different.

Of course, the mental realm is not invincible; the level of one's obsession energy and the ability to mobilize mental source power are determined by one's cultivation level.

In the realm of the mind, when a farmer cultivates the land, he is fixated on the idea of yielding ten thousand catties per mu. If he holds onto this idea for several years and gathers the power of his mind, then the land will be abundant with golden ears of grain.

When a scholar is reading in his mind, he is convinced that his writings can carry the Great Dao. Once this conviction takes shape, it can become the ink traces of spiritual words.

Unlike the faith promoted by Buddhism, which treats all beings, whether Buddhas or immortals, as nourishment, the Mind Realm views all beings as true life, without distinction of high or low, noble or base.

In the material world, one needs a foothold to distinguish between high and low, noble and base. The base will inevitably become slaves to faith, beings that produce nourishment. In the realm of the mind, the fundamental principle is the infinite size of the original mind, and no one is inherently more base than anyone else.

The growth of the mind's fundamental essence depends on the strength of sentient beings' attachments, which in turn represent the strength of their self-will.

When Yin Ziyu was conferred the title of God, he achieved enlightenment through cultivating his mind. The migration of the Shang Dynasty to the south laid the foundation for the formation of the Mind Realm. Over these 100,000 years, he accumulated boundless Mind Power.

Otherwise, Bai Suzhen would have absolutely no ability to condense the Chaos Bell.

Ordinary people in the Mind Realm certainly couldn't do this, but this is Yin Ziyu's world. Yin Ziyu has mastered the power of the Mind Realm's laws, which allows people to do these things to the greatest extent possible.

At this moment, all three realms turned their attention to the Heart Realm, watching to see how Yin Ziyu would plan his schemes and where the story of Wuji Kingdom would ultimately lead.

Tang Sanzang spotted Sun Wukong at a glance and was overjoyed, shouting loudly, "Wukong!"

Sun Wukong rushed to Tang Sanzang's side and asked anxiously, "Master, did they make things difficult for you?"

Tang Sanzang, looking extremely frightened, said, "Wukong, don't worry, your master is fine."

At this moment, Bai Suzhen looked at Sun Wukong and slowly said, "Monkey, now I will let you find out why Wuji Kingdom is like this. After you know everything, you can decide whether you still want to fight me!"

After hearing this, Sun Wukong asked with a suspicious look, "What exactly happened? And why were the monks expelled?"

The king, however, held Tang Sanzang and his companions in utter contempt. He coldly swept his gaze over Sun Wukong and rebuked them, "You monks are truly making trouble! You think you are upholding good intentions, but you do not know that you are bringing the destruction of the Wuji Kingdom to its knees!"

Upon hearing this, Tang Sanzang clasped his hands together and retorted with certainty, "Amitabha, Your Majesty, Buddhism is compassionate and saves all sentient beings. How could it bring disaster to Wuji Kingdom? There must be some misunderstanding."

The king sneered and said loudly, "Misunderstanding? Thirty years ago, Wuji Kingdom suffered a severe drought, leaving the land parched. At that time, I revered Buddhism, and all the other Taoist priests in Wuji Kingdom fled to Chechi Kingdom. I led all the monks in the kingdom, sincerely praying for rain every day for several years, but not a single drop fell. But after the White Snake arrived, she taught the people of Wuji Kingdom the method of bringing rain, thus averting the crisis of national destruction and saving the millions of people of Wuji Kingdom. Monk, tell me, what use are you monks?"

"During the severe drought, the fields were littered with corpses of the starving, and the people suffered unspeakably. Yet, the temple possessed a vast store of grain, which it never used to relieve the people. It even squandered countless sums of money to make the golden Buddha statue more majestic. Left with no other choice, I had to expel the monks, open the granaries, and sell the golden Buddha statue to the Kingdom of Chechi in exchange for grain. Only then was the Kingdom of Wuji saved from annihilation. Monk, now that things have come to this, what else do you have to say?"

After the king finished speaking, Tang Sanzang was speechless, only able to say, "The failure to bring rain may not necessarily have anything to do with Buddhism. Why does Your Majesty blame Buddhism?"

Sun Wukong was stunned upon hearing this: "Is this true?"

Upon hearing this, the king immediately exclaimed, "Help me condense the vision of thirty years!"

Driven by the king's intense obsession, the entire landscape of Wuji Kingdom thirty years ago instantly unfolded before his eyes, revealing the tragic scene of widespread famine and death in Wuji Kingdom thirty years ago, like a scroll painting slowly taking shape.

The earth was cracked, with shocking fissures resembling the gaping maws of a ferocious beast, relentlessly devouring all life. The withered grass and trees trembled in the howling wind, as if helplessly lamenting the passing of their former glory.

On the plains, countless starving people lay scattered about. Their bodies were emaciated, skin and bones, their eyes sunken, and their faces frozen with despair and pain.

Before a magnificent temple, countless monks, together with the king, knelt devoutly before the golden statue of Buddha.

The monks, dressed in tattered robes and looking haggard, still had unwavering faith in their eyes. With their hands clasped together, they chanted scriptures continuously, their voices rising and falling, echoing across the desolate land.

For the mind to conjure up a scene from thirty years ago, it only requires a little obsession and is not difficult.

For several years in a row, not a single drop of rain fell. Upon seeing this, Sun Wukong roared in anger, "Why has it not rained in Wuji Kingdom for so many years? Why is the Heavenly Court doing nothing about it?!"

Regardless, Sun Wukong is righteous; he's just been misled too much!

But since this has happened, there must be a reason. This made Sun Wukong think of the rain god. Why hasn't it rained for years? Sun Wukong said fiercely, "I, Old Sun, will definitely find that old Jade Emperor and ask him why!"

After hearing this, Tang Sanzang asked, "How did you manage to successfully pray for rain? How did the White Snake Lady allow you to pray for rain?"

The king immediately said, "People of Wuji Kingdom, begin your prayers for rain."

In an instant, tens of thousands of people from Wuji Kingdom prayed for rain with great devotion at the border between Wuji Kingdom and the Heart Realm. Under the cover of the laws of the Heart Realm, the boundless power of the Heart Source was instantly activated, and a torrential downpour fell in an instant.

After the rain, the King of Wuji said, "Therefore, I issued a decree to expel the monks to the western kingdom of Chechi, restoring peace and prosperity to Wuji. What else do you monks have to say?"

"How is this possible? These mortals can actually bring rain? This is impossible!"

When Sun Wukong saw this scene, he was immediately stunned and found it utterly unbelievable.

Sun Wukong watched in disbelief as some mortals actually used magic to bring rain. He was stunned and his fiery eyes, which were already wide open, were now even wider, like two copper bells, filled with disbelief.

Seeing this, Bai Suzhen remained calm and said softly, "In the realm of the mind, let alone something as trivial as mortals bringing rain, it is not impossible for mortals to defeat you, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven."

Upon hearing this, Sun Wukong shouted, "Stop spouting nonsense! How could I, Old Sun, believe such absurd words!"

Bai Suzhen was not angry. She simply raised her hand and pointed to an old farmer in her mind's realm, saying, "If you don't believe me, you can have a match with him and you'll know."

Upon hearing this, the old farmer slowly turned around, holding an ordinary-looking hoe in his hand.

Upon seeing this, Sun Wukong said, "This old farmer, does he even deserve to fight me?"

Bai Suzhen said calmly, "Just give it a try!"

The old farmer looked calmly at Sun Wukong, and without saying a word, he suddenly swung his hoe and chopped at Sun Wukong.

In an instant, the seemingly simple hoe suddenly unleashed a terrifying, world-destroying power, as if it could tear the sky apart. Space beneath the hoe shattered like fragile paper, and a huge black crack rapidly spread toward Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong was greatly shocked, never expecting that the old farmer would have such amazing strength.

Startled, he dared not slacken his pace and quickly swung his golden cudgel to meet the hoe.

With a deafening roar, the golden cudgel and the hoe collided, unleashing a blinding light. Powerful energy ripples spread wildly in all directions like a surging tide, causing the earth to tremble violently.

However, to Sun Wukong's disbelief, no matter how much effort he exerted or how he changed his moves, his golden cudgel could not break through the old farmer's defenses, let alone defeat him.

The old farmer's seemingly simple and unadorned attacks were like an indestructible mountain, steadily blocking every single one of Sun Wukong's attacks.

"For a hundred years I've toiled in this ancient land, yet you remain as steadfast as the soil in my heart!"

This is a farmer from the Yin-Shang dynasty, cultivating the land in the realm of the mind, and is considered one of the countless beings who provide the source of mental energy to the realm of the mind.

This scene completely shocked all parties in the Three Realms. The fact that an old farmer from the Heart Realm could fight Sun Wukong proved the validity of Yin Ziyu's "My Heart is Infinite".

When Yin Ziyu first discussed Taoism with Yunxiao, he proposed the idea of "my heart is infinitely vast" in order to face the upcoming Investiture of the Gods and the encirclement and attack by the Four Sages.

The growth of the mind realm today allows all beings within it to truly embody the boundless power of my mind in practice.

At this moment, on Mount Ling, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were watching the fierce battle between the old farmer and Wukong in their hearts.

The Buddha Tathagata, with a solemn expression, turned to Dipankara Buddha and asked, "Ancient Buddha, in my opinion, how should this matter be viewed?"

The Ancient Buddha of the Burning Lamp frowned, shook his head slightly, and slowly said, "This old farmer had long since entered the Mind Realm, but he only used the power of the Mind Realm's origin. Defeating Wukong would not be difficult for him. If he obtained the laws of the Mind Realm, it wouldn't be impossible for him to even condense a spiritual treasure like the Chaos Bell. This is the convergence of the obsessions of all living beings, so borrowing it is naturally not impossible. However, once he leaves this Mind Realm, he is still just an ordinary mortal. But the key to this matter is that its influence on the concepts of all living beings is subversive!"

The Buddha nodded slightly, expressing his deep agreement: "Indeed, if this situation is allowed to continue, the order of the Three Realms, which has been painstakingly established since the Investiture of the Gods, will likely collapse again. Ziyu is clearly using this to practice and promote the orthodox ideas of the Yin-Shang period."

Dipankara Buddha expressed his deep agreement and continued, "The philosophy displayed by this Mind Realm reflects the Jie Sect's principle of 'education for all without discrimination and equality for all beings,' while also incorporating the concept of 'equality between immortals and mortals' advocated by the Yin Shang Dynasty when governing the human race. This person has merely changed the name, using the name of the Mind Realm to expound on his own Dao, intending to promote his Dao to its zenith and impart it to all beings under heaven."

The Buddha's expression grew increasingly solemn as he said in a deep voice, "The power of this Mind Realm is to maximize the obsessions of all beings. If it were truly extended to the Three Realms, not only would the Journey to the West be difficult to achieve, but the existing order of the entire Three Realms would also be completely overturned. Once the obsessions of all beings can manifest at will in the Three Realms, whether it be my Buddhist sect, the Chan sect, or the Human sect, all will face the danger of extinction."

At this moment, the Buddhas of Mount Ling were filled with terror, for the danger to their very survival had truly arrived.

The current Mind Realm is only a small realm, but it should not be underestimated, because it is fundamentally different from the myriad realms of the primordial world, the three thousand worlds of the Tathagata, and the twenty-four heavens evolved by Dipankara.

If this small realm does not grow, it will be insignificant and will not be able to overturn the Three Realms at all. However, if Yin Ziyu takes advantage of this Journey to the West to strengthen his Heart Realm, then it will be a direct elimination and overthrow for the several great sects of saints.

This is a complete difference in philosophy, and a different attitude towards all living beings.

With a solemn expression, Randeng gazed intently towards the direction of the battle in the Mind Realm, and slowly said to Tathagata, "Buddha, this calamity that Ziyu has set up in Wuji Kingdom is certainly mixed with the karma between the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha and Bai Suzhen, the Demon Emperor, and the karma of launching an attack on Buddhism under the guise of praying for rain. But these are not the most crucial points. The most important thing is to prove to the Three Realms through this calamity that the Mind Realm possesses the great power to enable all beings to fight against immortals and gods with mortal bodies. It can even condense the Chaos Bell. In this way, it will show the great gods of the Three Realms that entering a higher realm through the Mind Realm is not a pipe dream. In comparison, the highest achievement that the Path of Faith can reach is only the Golden Immortal realm."

Burning Lamp's words pinpointed Yin Ziyu's key issue: a lack of faith and the predicament of a Golden Immortal.

To all the brothers who have been following this story, this book is just one hundred average daily subscriptions away from becoming a top-tier book. Starting today, we're combining two chapters into one, and I've noticed that updating with two chapters results in more chapters, causing the average subscription to drop. It's like taking 4,000 new chapters each day to make up for it with two chapters, but I only have 3,000 extra new chapters, so the average subscription is falling. This book has a low number of favorites, so the average subscription can't rise any further. Even with the combined update, I absolutely won't pad the plot. I hope you brothers can help me cross this 100-subscription gap. In two months, the average subscription has gone from 600 at launch to 2900 now; we're just one step away from becoming a top-tier book.
