Douluo: Yu Hao Pan Tang San

Chapter 198, Section 217: I Still Prefer You

Chapter 198, Section 217: I Still Prefer You
After the samurai finished his introduction, he grinned at Yu Xiaogang and said, "Your name is Yu Xiaogang, right? Gangzi, which package would you like to start with?"

Yu Xiaogang swallowed hard and said, "I will tell you the truth."

"Hahaha." The warrior reached out and ruffled Yu Xiaogang's buzz cut, saying, "I didn't expect that you, a level 29 piece of trash, would actually know what's good for you. Well then, just confess honestly."

So Yu Xiao began to explain how he obtained the papal decree, and the people around him took notes as he spoke.

However, Yu Xiaogang still played a trick. He knew that Tang Hao was infamous throughout the Douluo Continent, especially for offending the Spirit Hall. He absolutely could not admit that he was involved with him. Therefore, Yu Xiaogang lied and said that he found it when he went to the old site of the Clear Sky Sect.

Finally, Yu Xiaogang said to the interrogating warrior with a fawning expression, "I have told you everything I needed to say, so may I leave now?"

"What's the rush?" The interrogating warrior casually picked up the confession, placed a stack of red inkpads next to it, and said fiercely, "Sign and seal it."

Yu Xiaogang's face changed instantly as he looked at the confession, and he broke out in a cold sweat once more. The confession stated that Tang Hao had found Yu Xiaogang one day and given him the Pope's decree, hoping to use him to gather intelligence on the Spirit Hall. If he signed this confession, it would confirm that Yu Xiaogang was a spy, an informant, and no power would treat spies harshly. No, he couldn't admit it.

“This confession doesn’t match my statement,” Yu Xiaogang said.

"This is the truth you just confessed. Do you agree?" The samurai looked around, and the people in the interrogation room all had ferocious expressions on their faces: "Yes, yes, this is your confession."

"You are tampering with my testimony," Yu Xiaogang said indignantly.

"So, are you going to sign and put your fingerprint on it, or not?" the samurai asked with a sinister grin.

"no way--"

"Hahahaha." The warrior picked up a large leather whip and lashed it, then struck Yu Xiaogang, leaving him with torn and bleeding skin.

"Throw a hum, ahhhhhh—"

"Will you sign or not? Will you put your fingerprint on it?" The samurai lashed out with his whip again.

"No, I am an old acquaintance of His Holiness the Pope. You can't treat me like this. If the Pope finds out what happened to me, you will surely die a horrible death," Yu Xiaogang threatened, enduring the pain.

"Threatening me with the Pope's name? You dare to challenge me? The Pope doesn't know you're here, and even if she did, what could she do? Do you think the Pope cares about a level 29 piece of trash like you?" The warrior didn't hold back, lashing Yu Xiaogang dozens of times with his whip. With each lash, he shouted, "Sign or not? Put your fingerprint on the canvas!"

"Ahhh—stop smoking—ahhh—I'll sign, I'll sign—stop smoking, spare me, ahhh—" Yu Xiaogang's wails echoed in the interrogation room.

In fact, Yu Xiaogang had already started begging for mercy when he was lashed for the third time. The dozens of lashes that followed were simply because the warrior was so engrossed in Yu Xiaogang's wailing that he couldn't help himself and so he lashed him more.

Only when Yu Xiaogang was on the verge of death did the warrior signal to the healing-type soul master beside him. The healing-type soul master then used his soul skill, and a healing holy light enveloped Yu Xiaogang, repairing his wounds and restoring his skin to its delicate state before he was whipped.

Upon waking up, Yu Xiaogang saw the warrior cracking his whip, a flicker of fear in his eyes. Without hesitation, he took the confession, signed his name, and affixed his fingerprint to it.

The warrior put the confession away, and Yu Xiaogang pleaded, "Now that I've confessed, can you let me go?"

“You’ve confessed, and this is just the beginning. Yu Xiaogang, you’ve committed the heinous crime of colluding with Tang Hao and spying on the secrets of my Spirit Hall. You’re already guilty of heinous crimes, and you still want to leave?” the warrior said.

Behind the samurai, in the interrogation room, everyone began adjusting various instruments of torture, such as pepper spray, the tiger bench, and bamboo skewers.
Looking at these instruments of torture, Yu Xiaogang broke out in a cold sweat: "I've already confessed, what... what are you going to do?"

“Yes, you have confessed, but I’m not happy with you, so I’ll treat it as a denial and let you enjoy all the meals here first before I submit your confession,” the samurai said.

"Da-me."

Inside the interrogation room, Yu Xiaogang let out a series of piercing screams.

After Yu Xiaogang underwent repeated treatments and tortures, the warrior finally grew tired of it and locked him up in prison. A few days later, the warrior opened Yu Xiaogang's cell, and Yu Xiaogang looked at the warrior with fear in his eyes.

"Gangzi, I'm taking you to the prison where you're imprisoned." The iron gate opened, and the warrior lifted Yu Xiaogang out like a chick.

"You're in luck! There's a welcome party going on in that prison to welcome you!"

"Ah, a welcome event?" Yu Xiao* was slightly taken aback, but before he could think about it, he was dragged away by the warrior.

"You will know when you go."

Not far from the cell where Yu Xiaogang was being held, Yu Xiaogang could already hear a cheerful singing coming from inside the cell.

For some reason, these songs gave Yu Xiaogang a bad feeling.

The samurai picked up the key and opened the iron gate. Inside, cheers erupted from the muscular men, and their pungent stench filled the air.

Inside, a group of shirtless, muscular men were sitting in the audience cheering. On the central stage, three muscular men stood: the one in the middle was a scarred man whose face was split in two by a hideous scar; the one on the left was a one-eyed man wearing an eye patch; and the one on the right was a tall man with a shaved rooster-like hairstyle.

From somewhere in the audience, a voice that Yu Xiao* recognized all too well came through. It addressed the three people on stage, asking, "Chicken Bro~"

"Hi~" Chicken Bro gestured.

"What do you like?" the muscular men in the audience asked in unison.

"I still prefer you to the newcomer!" Chicken Bro said in a coquettish tone.

"Scarface~" the voice asked again.

"Hey~" Scarface reached out and took a few steps forward.

"What do you like?" the muscular men asked in unison.

"I still prefer you the most after the first bite of the ginseng fruit~" Scarface said in his distinctively rough voice, and at the end, he blew a kiss towards Yu Xiaogang~

Scarface turned around and, together with the muscular men in the audience, asked Brother Long on his left, "Brother Long~"

Brother Long raised his hand and said, "Hi~"

"what do you like?"

"Seeing you helplessly picking up the soap, I still like you more~"

"Everyone—" The three people on the stage switched places and then asked the muscular men in the audience a question.

"Hey~" the muscular men said.

"what do you like?"

"Of course, I like Yu Xiaogang the most."
