Chapter 102 The End of the Study Trip

Chapter 102 The End of the Study Trip
October 31st, the last day of the study tour.

Throughout the morning, Kuronuma Kito spent his time with Aizawa Tora and Ishiguro Go. After getting up, he went to a ramen shop for breakfast and attended the debriefing meeting for the training trip. Until he had lunch and boarded the bus back to Tokyo, he did not set foot on the third floor again.

Shirakawa Momo, Shinkai Shiona, and Toyama Chitose always stayed together, keeping an eye on each other.

After boarding the bus back to Tokyo, Shirakawa Momo and Shinkai Shiona sat together, while Toyama Chitose decided not to return to Tokyo for the time being because her family had not yet arrived in Izu.

In a reluctant atmosphere, the bus slowly started, drove out of Shuzenji town, and returned to Tokyo along the highway.

Swamp Fang sat in the middle of the last row, playing Pokémon on a handheld game console. During his time in Izu, he forgot that he still had to become a Pokémon Master, and there was less than a week left until his final battle with Shikano Ryo.

"Kiba, this is the Six-Tails I carefully bred for you!"

Aizawa Tiger opened the Pokémon game's link exchange page and entered the secret code: "Snowfall ability, Timid nature, all six stats are the best!"

"it is good."

"This is the bond of friendship!"

"The inherited move is the power of the moon, which is indeed impressive."

After receiving the Alolan Vulpix by entering a secret code, Swampfang promptly used a Rare Candy to level it up to max level, and then used an Ice Stone to evolve it.

Ninetales in its Alolan form is alluring and beautiful. Its Ice and Fairy typing gives it a significant advantage against Dragon-type opponents, completing the team's puzzle.

Alola Ninetales, Alola Sandslash, Glaceon, Sylveon, Mimikyu, and finally, the legendary Pokémon Milton of this generation.

An ice and fairy combined team cannot possibly lose against Hatsushiro Ryo's all-dragon team!

"Tiger, come and battle me. You can only use Dragon-type moves." Black Swamp Fang was full of confidence.

"Huh?" Aizawa Tiger scratched his head awkwardly, then changed the list of Pokémon in his party and connected to battle with him.

In their first appearance, the Nine-Tailed Fox battles the Ice and Snow Dragon.

Kurogane Kiba looked away from the handheld screen, turned to Aizawa Tora, and tilted his head in confusion, asking, "Are you a dodo too?"

Like Charizard, the Ice Dragon has nothing to do with the Dragon type except for having "Dragon" in its name. Instead, it has the Rock type, which is effective against Ice.

"Do you think I'm stupid?! How could anyone use a Dragon-type team against a Snow-type team and a Fairy-type team?"

Aizawa Tora patted his chest confidently, revealing a smug expression: "Rock-type is the strongest, feel my unwavering will!"

“Alright, Rock Tiger.” Black Swamp Fang nodded calmly, and the battle officially began.

On the way back to Tokyo, thanks to his well-planned tactics, he repeatedly killed Aizawa Tora, until the latter escaped by claiming he forgot to charge his handheld console the night before and chose to go to sleep.

A little after 4 p.m., the bus slowly came to a stop in front of the gate of the private Seiran Academy. The temperature in Tokyo dropped a few degrees, and the ancient trees in front of the academy were covered with golden leaves.

While most of the students were still drowsy and hadn't woken up yet, Kuronuma was the first to leave the stuffy carriage.

As he stepped out of the car, a cool breeze ruffled his short black hair. He turned his head to look in the direction the wind was coming from, his gaze fixed on it.

Before the ancient tree, its leaves all fallen, Matsusaka Kanon smiled gently, her beautiful gray eyes glistening with tears.

As the weather turned cooler, she wore a black knitted cardigan over her clean and elegant white dress. Her delicate temperament made her figure appear exceptionally slender as she walked slowly, like a leaf swaying in the autumn wind.

Kuronuma Kiba stood still, watching Matsuzaka Kanon stop in front of him, and asked softly, "Waiting for Shinkai?"

"No, I'll wait for you."

Matsuzaka Kanon shook her head slightly, extending her hand to him. Her skin was pale and delicate, and her wrist, peeking out from under her sleeve, had a fragile, porcelain-like quality.

"Shionai-chan needs a lot of time to say goodbye to her classmates and discuss weekend plans. She'll come to me when she's done."

The sound was soft and gentle, reminiscent of white cherry blossoms covering the trees in spring.

It has to be white to be clean and pretty; bright red is too tacky, Kuronuma thought to himself, taking her hand as she offered it to him. The hand felt slightly cool to the touch.
"So, what's the important matter?" He couldn't understand why Matsuzaka Kanon had waited for him.

"Probably, and there are some other things to do. How about we have a cup of tea and chat?"

Matsuzaka Kanon smiled and met his gaze, her slender black eyebrows arching, and the beauty mark at the corner of her eye adding a touch of sentimentality.

Their eyes met, and an ambiguous atmosphere was added to the bleak autumn wind, until a sudden voice rang out from behind them.

"Don't block the way. If you don't have money to go to a love hotel, someone has built a stray cat rescue shelter downstairs in the apartment building."

The harsh and sarcastic words broke the atmosphere. Kuronuma Kiba, holding Matsuzaka Kanon's hand, moved to the front of the car. He turned around and saw Shirakawa Momo jump out of the car with a cold face. Her golden eyes glanced at him with contempt.

"Aren't you coming home for dinner tonight?" she asked, frowning.

"I can't answer you right now." Kuronuma shrugged, he wasn't too sure either.

"I'll go back, we'll just chat for a little while." Matsuzaka Kanon saw Shirakawa Momo's unhappy expression, and her narrowed gray eyes revealed a hint of amusement.

"Oh, remember to let me know if it gets too late."

Shirakawa Momo ignored her and went straight to the luggage compartment. She opened it and dragged down the outermost suitcases of herself and Kuronuma Kiba: "Ryo hasn't been back to the apartment for the past few days. I'll go back first to air it out and clean."

After finishing her monologue, she dragged her two suitcases and walked along the sidewalk towards the apartment without looking back, leaving the two of them with her petite and stubborn backs.

"I heard from Hatsushino that Shirakawa's personality has always been like this."

Matsuzaka Kanon led Kuronuma Kiba by the hand through the academy gates, her gray eyes looking at him with a teasing gaze as she softly asked, "Does Kiba have a headache?"

"A little bit."

Kuronuma nodded noncommittally, a helpless sigh in his voice: "Yesterday I offered to buy her some clothes, but I was ruthlessly rejected."

Do you want me to give you some advice?

"Tell me."

"Since it started as a transaction, just continue to use the transactional approach to get her to accept your goodwill."

Matsuzaka Kanon brushed her wind-blown long hair behind her ear, glanced around at the broad-leaved forest in the courtyard, and said slowly:

"For example, Ya can make unreasonable demands and then compensate you for your kindness. Of course, it can't be too excessive. Ya should know the boundaries and limits better than I do, right?"

Her statement is almost identical to the "friends' fee," and can be considered an extension of it.

For example, you could let Shirakawa Momo wear a maid outfit or other interesting clothes, and the compensation would be to buy her new clothes when you go shopping, so that the cat would accept it.

good idea.

After figuring out the reasoning, Kuronuma Kiba turned to look at Matsuzaka Kanon's profile and asked with some surprise, "Ryo-senpai called you over and then talked about me and Momo?"

"No, speaking of which, you're really lucky."

Matsuzaka Kanon shook her head slightly, tightened her grip on his hand, and said with a smile, "At first I thought I would be given some rules, but actually there were no excessive demands. Instead, I learned a lot of information while sharing my feelings with Hatsushika."

"about me?"

"Yes."

"Do you regret it?" Kuronuma Fang asked.

Matsuzaka Kanon didn't answer, but led him into the path leading to the student council building, her voice still gentle:
"If you have any troubles, you can come to me for advice. However, I seem to only be good at specific problems, so don't give me too much trouble."
