Chapter 586 Gwen Undiscovered
Peter hadn't fought many Spider-Men, but fortunately he had extensive experience fighting symbiotes, and the local Spider-Man in front of him was undoubtedly no longer biased towards Spider-Man but towards Venom.

In addition, Peter had accumulated too many buffs, so he quickly gained the upper hand in the battle, knocking all the symbiotes off his opponent's face with a single punch, or making the symbiotes on his opponent go berserk with a casual hit.

But none of these were Peter's goals.

While Peter himself had forgotten about it, Gwen squatted by the side of a building, watching the one-sided battle, while holding her phone and following the instructions to operate a device. This device, jointly built by Fitz and Simmons of the Airbus team, was used to intercept and analyze communication signals between symbiotes.

In analyzing the samples of the massacre, they proposed a hypothesis: since different symbiotes can locate each other by sending signals, does that mean that each molecule of the massacre also uses a similar communication method?

This is why Peter came here. On the one hand, the symbiote Spider-Man in this universe is similar in structure to Carnage. On the other hand, he has a larger script, and the whole of New York has been integrated into his Hive Mind.

Therefore, understanding the characteristics of the enemy at hand is key to defeating all enemies of this type. Gwen's job is to monitor them constantly.

"The translator is not working. Although it seems to use the same signal transmission, the meanings are completely different."

Gwen looked at the signals she received and sighed. After breaking free from Nar's era, the symbiotes of Klinta differentiated themselves from the simple hive mind, thus giving birth to their own unique "telepathic" language.

However, Nar, or rather the symbiote's central nervous system, does not need such a thing, so although Gwen intercepted the signal, she had no way of understanding it.

While monitoring her surroundings, she suddenly noticed others rapidly approaching. Upon closer inspection, she discovered that they were rhinos and scorpions modified by the symbiote.

After thinking for a moment, Gwen decided to try something else first—Mysterio's helmet.

Indeed, Peter's first thought was to use the new version of the Mysterio helmet to see if he could directly interfere with Cletus or other similar enemies. After all, the new Mysterio helmet was based on the Perilous Chamber, which relies on telepathy to create illusions.

What if it could be used on symbiotes?
However, to achieve this, one must first understand how to use human thought to intervene in the symbiote's consciousness network, which is the purpose of these S.H.I.E.L.D. devices. Now, Gwen felt that perhaps she had collected enough data, so she stood up and decided to take action.

"Let's give it a try."

As Gwen spoke, she removed her hood and donned Mysterio's helmet, transforming herself into the appearance of an ordinary Mysterio before quickly approaching the two villains. The two men, seeing Mysterio approaching at breakneck speed, didn't seem to care, except for Scorpion, who suddenly asked a question.

"Quentin, why didn't you get a symbiote? Didn't you ask the boss for one?"

"Boss? You mean Spider-Man?" Mysterio retorted. "I thought you guys were going to kill him, but you've become Spider-Man's henchmen?" Rhino was still charging headlong, but Scorpion immediately realized something was wrong. He turned and lashed out with his tail at Mysterio, but unfortunately, he only stung an illusion. He immediately shouted to Rhino, "Watch out! This Mysterio is suspicious!"

No, what you shouted out might be a hallucination. You might not have said anything at all, but Mysterio's ability made you think you did!

Realizing this possibility, the scorpion immediately switched to the symbiote's visual state. All symbiotes share thoughts, which means that the surrounding symbiotes can see Mysterio beyond the range of Mysterio's interference.

The scorpion then smiled.

The next second, for some reason, the symbiote on Scorpion's body went out of control, and he was slammed against the wall. Looking around at the bewildered faces, he wondered: What happened to his symbiote? How did it suddenly go out of control?

The rhinoceros, completely bewildered, walked over and helped the scorpion pry itself off the wall: "Buddy, what's going on?"

"I don't know either. It seems like I tripped and fell in an instant, and the symbiote on my body exploded." Scorpion scratched his head, puzzled, then looked at Rhino: "Why are we stopping here?"

Unable to explain the problem, they set off immediately. Gwen, now Mysterio, began her second attempt. She once again deactivated her powers and used Mysterio's illusion on the other side, trying her best to use Mysterio's helmet to connect with the symbiote's senses, but she failed again.

This time, Scorpion and Rhino discovered Gwen again, along with the chaotic illusions she created. So the two attacked Gwen simultaneously once more, only to immediately collide with themselves and then become confused as to why there were so many burning cars around them.

"It probably bumped into something, right?"

This time it was the rhinoceros who spoke. After all, he didn't remember hitting those cars or why he collided with the scorpion. After careful consideration, he could only come to one conclusion: he probably slipped.

Gwen, who was hiding to the side, complained.

"Can this thing even be used on a symbiote? Why does it only affect the host no matter how I use it?" After dodging unnecessary battles twice using her abilities, Gwen took out the instrument and continued to quickly test, but still without any effect. The data was indeed increasing, but the practical results were still 0.
Is it really true that human thinking is incapable of intervening in symbionts?
As Gwen was expressing her confusion, she saw a brand new figure approaching the battlefield. However, this person was neither one of the other people in this universe who were controlled by the symbiote Spider-Man, nor Black Cat, nor a rebel sent by S.H.I.E.L.D. On the contrary, it was someone who seemed not so surprising.

Gwen had never met the other party before, only knowing basic information about them. In Gwen's vision, she saw a scarlet symbiote rapidly approaching Peter's side.

"It's a massacre, a massacre of this universe! Is he planning to intervene in the battle between Peter and that... Peter Parker?"
