Chapter 566 The Decisive Battle Against the Kang Dynasty

Chapter 566 The Decisive Battle Against the Kang Dynasty (3)

In the instant that Doom seized the opportunity during the break in the battle, taking the lead with his observation skills and bold judgment, he entered the Anti-Celestial Armor first, and then dug the Cosmic Cube out of Kang's chest.

Having lost the Cosmic Cube, Kahn became Kahn the Conqueror once again.

Just as Peter had thought, Kang sacrificed his immortality as the holder of the Time Stone in order to gain immense power. In return, when the Cosmic Cube was unearthed, Kang gained immortality.

Kang died, but in an instant, the effects of the Time Stone were activated. His body twisted rapidly and then returned to its original, intact form. He then punched Doom, who was caught off guard and was hit in the visor by Kang's punch.

Then, Doom looked at Kang with extreme coldness, and in just an instant, Kang was turned into a pile of bones by the intense energy impact.

Then, he recovered and came back to life. Not only did he resurrect, but he even managed to make Doom's attack miss.

what happened?
The answer is simple: Kang used the Time Stone to erase time. Within the erased time, everyone's trajectory cannot be modified, except for Kang, who can move freely.

Oh, and Kovac.

If Kang hadn't discovered that Kovac was rapidly approaching the Cosmic Cube in Doom's hand, he might not have been able to undo the time erasure so quickly. Therefore, when Doom regained control of his body, he was caught off guard by this attack for the first time and didn't realize what was happening before he saw Kang running away and Kovac approaching.

Doom stared coldly at Kovak, then chanted a spell. It was a powerful spell from the witch Morgan le Fay, strong enough to separate Kovak from his true form, rendering him unable to protect the Avengers and other heroes—and even Morgan herself would bear the true cost of the spell, not Doom.

Of course, Doom didn't come without a price; he promised Morgan that if he became the King of the World, she would become his queen.

Well, Doom has no intention of honoring his promise.

After isolating Kovac's power, Doom began to draw upon the immense power of the Cosmic Cube. However, he found himself aging rapidly. In a panic, Doom immediately used the Cosmic Cube to restore his youth and looked at the culprit that caused the problem.

"You stole the Cosmic Cube from me!"

With the Time Stone still attached to his gauntlet, Kang roared as he charged toward Doom: "Give it back to me!"

“The farce of the clown is over. Any further performance from you is like an ant crawling, posing no threat to Doom.” With that, Doom slammed the Cosmic Cube directly onto Kang, as if swinging a brick. Kang was momentarily obliterated, but the next instant, before Doom could even grasp the Time Stone, he saw a completely new Kang materialize around it, simultaneously grasping the Cosmic Cube.

In an instant, the two were locked in a struggle.

Doom was in an awkward situation. Morgan's magic could only isolate one target. He was unaware of Kovac's existence when he devised the plan. This spell was prepared for Kang. He only prepared one spell, but two contenders appeared.

What should I do?
There is more than one contender.

The first to charge into the battlefield was Ghost Rider. He is immortal, so the Time Stone couldn't subdue him, and even the Hell Pact couldn't restore him to his pre-Ghost Rider state. It was because of this that Ghost Rider took his first action.

He hooked the Cosmic Cube with the chain and then planned to pull it over forcefully.

However, in that instant, both Doom and Kang realized a problem: this guy doesn't know how to use the Cosmic Cube.

So the two of them chose the same path: to alter reality so that Johnny Blaze would never have become Ghost Rider. But this time, they encountered strange resistance, which Doom felt most acutely—a powerful and familiar force connected to Johnny's soul. His soul belonged to Mephisto, and to prevent Johnny from being altered by the Cosmic Cube, Mephisto had sent his soul to the past.

“I don’t know how much you value this thing, but I know three things: first, it’s a good thing; second, it’s not yours; and third, none of you are good people.”

"Simple and direct, a skull."

Kang was startled to hear a strange sound. Hulk had somehow appeared behind him. Doom sneered, casting a spell to conceal Hulk's presence, allowing the massive creature to stealthily approach Kang. Seeing the enormous monster, Kang immediately activated the Time Stone to accelerate Hulk's time.

He wants Hulk to die of old age here before he hits him!
Then, Kang saw Hulk grow incredibly old, his hair all gone, and a long, thick white beard growing on his chin. But hundreds of years had passed, and Hulk was unharmed, punching Kang squarely in the face.

"Foolish! Time traveler!"

Kang was sent flying by a punch, and Doom smiled smugly to himself as he prepared to lift the Cosmic Cube.

His back was pierced by a pair of adamantium claws.

Doom still didn't understand time erasure. He thought Kang had escaped by stopping time, so he wasn't on guard. Kang, seeing Wolverine sneaking up behind Doom, decisively used time erasure to immobilize Doom and allow Wolverine to get close.

Then he stabbed himself right through the chest.

But I haven't finished using it yet, I can still modify it...

Huh? Where did the Cosmic Cube go? How did it suddenly disappear? Oh no, it suddenly flew in mid-air.

"To be honest, the current situation is really quite bizarre."

Gwen complained as she tossed the Cosmic Cube, which was stuck to the spider silk, to Peter. After all, she didn't know how to use it. Peter, on the other hand, confirmed one thing: even if Gwen had the Cosmic Cube, her perception of it wouldn't be erased, and everyone would see the Cosmic Cube flying around everywhere.

This could even lead to the assumption that Gwen exists.

"Okay... I think it's time to end this. Seriously, this last big show was, well, quite dramatic."

As Peter spoke, he handed the Cosmic Cube to Kovac, then looked at the latter: "But all of this should end now. How should I put it? The typical anticlimactic ending of a major event? It doesn't quite feel like it. Anyway, well done, the new Fantastic Four—we won't be using that name anymore."

"Then let's get everything back on track."

Peter spoke to Kovac, and then blue light enveloped the world.

I was a bit busy and was an hour late.

One more chapter to make up for the missed update and wrap things up.
