Chapter 458: Eight immortals cross the sea, each showing his magical powers

Chapter 458 The Eight Immortals Cross the Sea, Each Displaying Their Unique Abilities

How many people were held at the Raft Prison, and what kind of prisoners were they?

The number is probably quite alarming—in the six months since the Raft Prison was put into use, it has already held more than 500 super criminals who are deemed by courts in various countries to require special custody. This also proves to what extent super-powered crimes and high-tech crimes have increased worldwide since the Battle of New York. Of course, the vast majority of them are prisoners from Europe and the United States, since super criminals are difficult to execute in these countries.

If it were another country, they would probably be meeting God or the King of Hell by now.

Now, with the raft prison paralyzed and the Avengers yet to arrive to provide support, leaving only a few heroes to manage the crisis, the prisoners are starting to have their own schemes and begin trying to escape—most of them will find that they cannot escape and will thus remain on this wrecked ship.

Other special individuals, however, will consider how to escape.

Abomination was one of them. He smashed a marble wall with his fist. He didn't know where the marble building came from or how it ended up in the raft prison, but he didn't care. Instead, he went straight to find what he needed—anything that could possibly float.

As for the absorber, that guy has already escaped. After breaking through the prison wall, this son of a bitch turned into a stream of water and fled at lightning speed without wasting a moment. His escape speed was astonishing even to the Abominations, making people wonder how he was ever caught in the first place.

"You guys should just keep making trouble quietly. How long do you think you can keep this up?"

Abomination picked up a bathtub that he had taken from some unknown room, leaped up, and using his powerful physique, jumped several kilometers in one leap before landing in the sea with the bathtub in his arms.

Next, Abomination will use its super strength to hurry up and, while sitting in the bathtub, use its hands to paddle to the ground!
"My God, is that big green-butt guy planning to paddle to the ground with his hands?"

As Deadpool, who was not wearing any clothes, put on his pants, he watched Abomination leap and fly away. Then, after glancing at Sabretooth, who had just come out of the cell and removed the mutant-suppressing collar, he gave a straightforward smile.

"How about we swim out, guys?"

The five members of Weapon X, including Lady Death, possess powerful regenerative abilities. They could easily dive into the Atlantic Ocean and swim to shore. Even if they ran out of energy and drowned halfway there, it wouldn't matter; as long as someone pulled them ashore or onto a boat, they would be lively and energetic again in just a few minutes.

They are arguably among the people with the lowest cost of jailbreaking.

That's exactly what they did; almost the entire Weapon X team jumped into the sea immediately, except for Deadpool. As the only ethical mercenary who was able to get two short-term releases from prison to help superheroes solve problems, and even obtain the teleportation belt without running away—Deadpool didn't run away.

Instead of running away, Deadpool leisurely strolled around the Raft prison. But before he could take two steps, a silver flash pushed him back into an unknown cage, and then the cell door was blocked by a pile of furniture.

Deadpool was dumbfounded. Even though he was handsome and charismatic, he didn't actually have superpowers! He couldn't move any of this furniture!
Deadpool wasn't the only prisoner locked up. Even Thriller, who had just been shoved aside by Doctor Octopus and was trying to help, was kicked back into his cell by Quicksilver, who then blocked the door. Although he saw Spider-Man in danger, it was partly due to his trust in Peter's abilities and partly due to the seriousness of the situation.

In short, Quicksilver dealt with most of the supervillains, who were still recovering from their equipment or abilities, in almost no time, throwing them all into the prison. So far, only a few prisoners have escaped.

Then, he discovered Ant-Man being trampled underfoot, so he pushed away the one-armed man who was stepping on Dr. Pym, trying his best not to kill anyone, and helped the scientist up.

“Hello, Dr. Pym, I’m Pietro. You might know me, since I helped the Avengers before.” Quicksilver helped Pym up and then asked about his condition: “Are you alright?”

"It's not good. The mansion prison holds the most dangerous super criminals who have no chance of reforming. You have to be careful."

"We'll talk about it later, Dr. Pym. I'll send you out first."

Quicksilver quickly sent Pym out and happened to see the Fantastic Four come in. After putting Pym aside, he stretched his joints and explained the situation to the Fantastic Four: "Um, Spider-Man is fighting the enemy, one against several. I suggest you go and help him quickly."

Human Torch looked at Quicksilver with a strange expression: "Why don't you go help?"

"I'm busy putting all the prisoners back in jail, unless you can run as fast as me," Quicksilver said, and dashed off again. Human Torch simply shrugged, then lit himself up and charged off.

A while ago, he heard that Spider-Man and Captain America had taken down a modified version of the original Human Torch, so he could ask himself who was stronger, him or the original Human Torch.

"Wait a moment!"

Pym hurriedly stopped the others who were about to follow the Human Torch, and with Janet's help, he stood up: "You must be careful. At the bottom of the mansion prison, there's a terrifying enemy that even the entire Avengers wouldn't be confident of defeating..."

Meanwhile, while Peter was with the Sinister Six, the situation also changed.

"Octavia, the Fantastic Four are here!"

Not only the group that witnessed the Fantastic Four entering the prison, but Electro also learned about this immediately through the remaining systems of the Raft prison under his control. Electro was originally giving Spider-Man electrotherapy to create an opportunity for Rhino to attack, and he was shocked to see this scene.

The six of them combined haven't been able to defeat Spider-Man yet. What would happen if the Fantastic Four came?

Otto used his mechanical tentacles to brutally tear open the outer wall of the Raft Prison, creating an opening for everyone, and then roared at Electro, "Dillon! Cast all your electricity and paralyze the Raft Prison again!"

"Release them all?"

"Release them all!"

Knowing they were about to escape, Peter hurriedly began casting a spell, but as the current rapidly increased, a powerful shockwave accompanied by a strong electric current knocked him away. Then, to Peter's astonishment, the sinister group of six actually transformed into a beam of light and left.
