I'm working on Marvel's Spider-Man in American comics.
Chapter 330 Hell Lion Squad
Chapter 330 Hell Lion Squad
Peter, Ororo, and King T'Challa arrived at Xavier's School of Geniuses. To Peter's surprise, T'Challa, as the King of Wakanda, was quite interested in the mutant academy.
"The number of superpowered individuals is increasing not only in the United States, but all over the world, Spider-Man."
T'Challa always wore a gentle smile, giving off none of the aura of a monarch. Instead, he seemed more like a good teacher at a school: "Although Wakanda's population is only a few million and there is no clear distinction between mutants and ordinary people, an academy for training young superhumans is still a facility of reference value for Wakanda."
Just now, the Avengers went out in force to bully the stilt walkers. You can hardly imagine what terrible things happened to a villain who robbed people by using boots that could extend and retract his suit.
He was first warned by the insignificant Bumblebee, and before he could even laugh it off, Captain America and Black Panther were standing in front of him. He took a step back in fear and leaned against Hulk, who had his arms crossed.
Then, terrified, he turned and ran, pulling his stilts up to their highest point. He bumped into a giant Ant-Man, then turned around to see Thor and Iron Man flying towards him. He almost fell over, but Spider-Man caught him.
When the stilt walkers' costumes were removed and they were put into an NYPD police car, he was completely dazed. Ironically, the Avengers who had bullied him were in high spirits, laughing heartily on the spot, laughing like a bunch of villains.
Peter then went with the Black Panther couple to Xavier's Academy of Geniuses.
“Cyclops said that because most mutants have chosen to settle in Kenosha, there are far fewer students at the academy than before.” Peter and the Black Panther couple, who had visited the academy a few times, introduced some information about the academy and, incidentally, also mentioned the situation in Kenosha.
"Magneto ruled Genosha autocratically, but to be honest, I think he was quite capable, which is why mutants were able to come together."
At least in Genoa's current situation, the mutants do not oppose Magneto's decision. As for Magneto's belief that humans will definitely go to war against mutants, that is purely speculation, and the Avengers are trying their best to avoid it.
With President Matthew Ellis's re-election, the anti-mutant Elephant Party lawmakers have lost most of their power, and for at least the next four years, the US government will favor superheroes.
Peter and his friends chatted as they approached Xavier's Academy of Geniuses, but to their surprise, as soon as they got close, they heard a very stern voice shout, "Halt!"
Stopping Peter and his friends was a group of five students, all dressed strangely. The boy in the lead looked normal, but among the students behind him, one looked like a sharp version of a stone man, and another had metallic skin.
There were two other people. The girl was dressed like a Middle Easterner, with her body covered by a black robe and veil. The last one was a boy who looked timid and stood at the back, wearing gloves on both hands.
"You are not welcome at the academy, Avengers. This is the Mutant Academy."
Black Panther was somewhat surprised by the students' xenophobic attitude, while Storm frowned in displeasure. As for Peter, after a moment's thought, he suddenly realized: "You're the Helllion Squad, right? The students Ms. Emma brought back from the Massachusetts Mutant Academy, right?"
Everything matched up; this was the team that had been constantly battling the New Mutants. Storm visibly relaxed after hearing the news; she knew the students the academy taught couldn't be that bad. It must have been Emma Foster's doing.
Peter was about to explain when Black Panther grabbed him and smiled, "Don't worry, Spider-Man. Ororo can teach these youngsters a lesson and show them what's good for them."
"Are you really not going to move aside?" Storm asked with a smile, but the leader paused for a moment before asking in surprise, "What do you mean? Are you still planning to force your way in?"
"I'm sorry, first of all, this is not the way to entertain guests."
As Ororo spoke, she moved forward, while the young man leading the way shouted, "Rockfall! Stop them!" Then the guy who looked like a sharp stone golem stepped forward and blocked Ororo's path.
In a sense, these young people were still cautious and didn't really intend to fight or cause trouble; they just wanted to stop people. But it seemed that Storm was going to teach these young people a lesson.
"Actually, if I just said that Cyclops invited us, they should have made way."
"This is Ororo's house, Spider-Man. Anyone would be a little grumpy if they came home and were stopped by a child they didn't recognize and treated like an outsider. This is even more so for Ororo, who is Storm. Storm is not known for her good temper."
Peter didn't actually know most of the Hell Lion team members; he only knew three, and he didn't even know the real name of one of them, Rock Slide. Rock Slide's ability appeared to be transforming into another stone golem, but in reality, he had become a spiritual entity capable of controlling rocks. The stone body was just a shell; if it exploded or was dismantled, he could still live.
The girl dressed like a Middle Easterner was named Sandstorm, I think? Her ability? A low-budget version of Sandman. I remember her because she appeared in the anime.
The only person the team needed to pay attention to was the young man who kept talking, codenamed Julian Keller, nicknamed "The Mischievous Kid." He was actually an Omega-level mutant, whose abilities were telepathic telekinesis. As for mental communication and mind reading, they were only average, and he had absolutely no ability to control minds.
T'Challa smiled as he watched Storm walk toward the academy gate. The burly mutant codenamed Rockslide approached Ororo, and before he could finish saying "Excuse me, ma'am," Ororo shoved him dozens of meters away with a single blow, then enveloped him in a gust of wind, forcing him to stand up straight.
Julian was taken aback and ordered his teammates to rush forward and attack the "intruders." The sandstorm turned into a gust of dust, but it was quickly swept away by the storm. The same happened to the girl who could turn herself into liquid mercury. As for the last guy wearing gloves, he didn't even lift a finger.
A green psychic shield appeared around Julian as he tried to control his psychic power to defend himself, but he was no match for the wind and was tripped and fell to the ground.
“Your skills are quite good, but your manners in receiving guests are really not good, kids.” Storm stopped and looked at the Helllions she had easily defeated: “I am Ororo Monroe, your future teacher.”
