Chapter 325 Spider City Site Selection

Chapter 325 Spider City Site Selection
Earth 21923, the wasteland world.

Black Panther 2149 from the Zombie Universe has become the leader of the New Avengers. He has been leading the New Avengers in a war against the New America led by Red Skull for over a month. The Avengers are now unstoppable, making Red Skull unable to take care of himself. To the point that Red Skull has gone mad and started using the DNA of the superheroes at his disposal to clone a superhuman army to resist the New Avengers.

“Most of the old guys have retired and are responsible for maintaining order in the wasteland. The other day we even found the tavern where Juggernaut retired, and guess what?” Hawkeye said, while leading the spiders on a tour of New Vegas: “Hey, we found Deadpool’s head in one of his liquor jars!”

"...You didn't resurrect Deadpool, did you?"

Peter was somewhat surprised. The wasteland universe shouldn't be short of people now. Black Panther had re-selected a group of survivors from various universes to form a new, energetic Avengers team, including himself who was missing an arm and a leg, the witch from the zombie world, X-23 from the Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe universe (now Wolverine), Vivi Vision (Vision's android daughter from the wasteland world) and Ashley Barton, and the new generation of Spider-Woman.

A complete version of the Avengers.

But for an Avengers team like this to be able to beat Red Skull to a pulp just shows how fantastical power truly is.

“I thought my world was bad enough.” Spider Gwen looked at New Vegas, a city that was half wasteland and half modern, and was shocked. “I never imagined there could be a world where all the heroes were wiped out.”

"Infinite multiverse, anything is possible. If you've seen the zombie universe, you won't think this place is so bad."

Peter sighed helplessly, and Miguel glanced at him after hearing this: "There's even such a thing as a zombie universe?"

"Yes, we blew one up, but there are at least two more left. Miguel, remember to be careful and don't fall in."

Miguel paused for a moment, utterly baffled as to why such a bizarre thing as a "zombie universe" existed.

"The location we've chosen for you is almost complete. It's in the former Hulk territory. Back then, Red Skull dropped a lot of nuclear bombs there in an attempt to kill that old man Banner. That place has a lot of nuclear radiation, so it should meet your needs."

Hearing Hawkeye's words, Miguel fell silent again, then looked at Peter with confusion: "Why did you choose a place with high nuclear radiation to build our base?"

"Do you remember the Spider-Men from another universe that I told you about?"

Peter was referring to the Hulk Spider, who came from some unknown Earth and entered Earth-65, giving Cindy Moon the Spider-Man powers. Miguel was very surprised when he heard that other Spider-Men could also travel through the multiverse. Moreover, after listening to Peter's introduction of the so-called Spider-Army and the existence of beings within it who could conquer their own universe single-handedly, break through the cosmic barrier, and actively enter the multiverse, he was even more astonished.

These guys are very dangerous, and what's even more dangerous is that their numbers are constantly expanding.

"One of the conditions these people offered to the recruited spiders was to help them resist the invasion of a race called the Inheritors. The Inheritors are a race that survives by absorbing life energy, and the vigorous life force of spider ability users is their favorite food. I don't want to exaggerate, but when spider totems face the Inheritors, they are almost powerless to resist."

Of course, since Peter Parker brought this up, it meant he had a solution, so Miguel remained silent and waited for Peter to continue.

"However, they are highly dependent on pure life energy, such as the gamma radiation energy of the Spider Hulk. Whether they can absorb it is a question mark. In addition, they cannot absorb life energy contaminated by nuclear radiation, and even nuclear radiation itself is fatal to them."

“So, this will be an absolutely safe safe house.” Miguel understood: “When I return to Earth 928, I will immediately prepare engineering equipment and start building a base here. Then I will try my best to contact Spider-Men to join us. Peter Parker from Earth 700 is a good candidate.”

At this point, Peter couldn't help but marvel at the power of the Spider Legion. Judging from the cosmic barrier that Strange discovered, it's highly likely that the Spider Sorcerer Supreme was able to protect the universe from dimensional travelers by casting spells, which must have been incredibly powerful magic.

"And what about me?" Spider Gwen asked expectantly. "What can I do?" "Wait, and then receive special training once the training room is built."

Miguel looked at Gwen coldly: "As Spider-Man, you're too weak. You're even one of the weakest Spider-Men I've ever seen. You need training."

Gwen was immediately unhappy, but it was true, she was too weak.

They still have a lot to do. To deal with future successors and other crises, Spider City must start acting now. The Spider Legion is already one step ahead of them, and they can't afford to be any slower.

"Alright, now that we've talked enough, we should head home." Peter breathed a sigh of relief as things were mostly arranged. He planned to use Reed Richards' portal to get back faster and also reduce the weakening of the reality barrier.

If you were alone, you could use the bracelet Miguel gave you to go back, but the problem is that Miguel's bracelet is for single-person use, so Gwen and Connors can't use it either.

Of course, there's one more thing I need to ask.

“Let me ask you something,” Peter asked his own universe’s Gwen, “You didn’t carry any spider isotope serum with you, did you?”

"No?"

"Really not?"

"No, there really isn't."

Gwen blinked innocently. Peter stared at her for a while, but in the end, he chose to believe her, only reminding her once more: "This serum is what bad people love most. Once it's discovered, the whole of Manhattan could become Spider Island."

"So, I won't take it back."

After receiving Gwen's assurance, Peter and Gwen prepared to pass through the multiverse portal in New Vegas. Before leaving, Spider-Gwen called Peter back.

"Peter, do you think... Aunt May and Uncle Ben will forgive me?"

"They will accept it all."

This was the only sentence Peter could leave her.

Peter led Gwen and Connors through the multiverse shuttle, but unexpectedly, they passed through a golden portal and did not enter the Baxter Building.

They came to the Holy of Holies.
