Chapter 318 Target: SILK
Spider-Gwen was forced to take leave from S.H.I.E.L.D., the world's most powerful security force. She was taken to an aircraft carrier in the air and was utterly shocked.

"We've been living with a very powerful airship all along? How come I never knew there was an airship in New York?"

“Because we can’t tell our enemies that we’re always here, we need to keep a low profile, Miss Stacy.” An older woman who stepped out interrupted Gwen’s reverie. The older woman was wearing an eye patch and gave her reason. Gwen paused for a moment and then extended her hand: “Oh, uh, hello, I’m Spider-Woman. Actually, I was thinking of a better codename, but everyone calls me that now.”

“I know, I am Peggy Carter, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D., Miss.”

Gwen had already explained the situation regarding Peter Parker from Earth-65 to Harry on the way there. She had mentioned before that, compared to Earth-616, the people of Earth-65 generally have lower psychological resilience. For example, Peter Parker from this world, unable to bear the bullying, used Connors' formula to develop the Lizard Serum, thus becoming a Lizard.
