Chapter 226 Symbiote Frenzy: Final Battle!

Chapter 226 Symbiote Frenzy - The Final Battle!
A knight clad in ancient armor rode atop a dragon's head, wielding a sharp sword, as he slashed at the terrifying giant with its bared fangs and ferocious face.

This is the first impression of the battle between Venom and Grundel. It's unavoidable; Spider-Man in his symbiote suit already gives off a dark, monstrous vibe. Venom, on the other hand, is an even more terrifying monster, and compared to the handsome black dragon, he has absolutely no visual appeal.

But this did not stop Venom from rushing up and punching Grundle.

"Aha, uppercut!"

Venom punched Grundel in the face. It wouldn't be entirely true to say that the Codex of Riot brought Venom nothing.

For example, the fighting skills Riot learned from Ward were actually of little use to Riot himself, but these memories and skills were of considerable help to Peter and Venom, who had only received basic training from Uncle Ben and brief training from Captain America. The close-combat skills of these top-tier field agents, second only to Hawkeye and Black Widow in the entire S.H.I.E.L.D., were immediately on display, as they thoroughly beat Grundle.

Venom wasn't the only one trying to beat up Grundle; Hulk also rushed in, punching Grundle in the stomach. Grundle howled in pain, clearly in agony, before swatting at Hulk with his claws, sending him flying. Hulk roared and prepared to charge again.

"Stop, Hulk, don't charge!"

Tony, who was evenly matched with the symbiote Captain America, shouted at Hulk, who turned around and pointed at the big guy: "Why?"

"What if you kill it?"

Yes, that's the problem now. The Avengers don't dare to go all out in their attack. What if Grundle gets killed by Venom?
In reality, the situation is likely more complex. Since the symbiotic ocean flooded Manhattan, almost no one in the entire city has seen Nal; only Grundle has appeared. Nal is clearly the master, so why is there only a dragon-like beast roaring wildly here?

The answer is obvious: Gnar has no intention of resisting. If the Avengers swarm in and kill Grendel, then Gnar can be resurrected. But if Grendel is consumed by Venom…

So it seems Nar also has a way? Otherwise, why wouldn't he fight back with all his might?

Hulk grunted helplessly twice, then went to cause trouble for the symbiotes Colossus and Wolverine. Anyway, quite a few allies had been corrupted by Knuckles, so it was a good time to settle scores and grievances.

Venom had already begun its feeding attempt, biting down on Grendel's neck and brutally tearing off a large chunk of its symbiote-like flesh, which it then swallowed. However, Grendel remained alive, which didn't mean it could finish the creature within three minutes.

Thor's lightning began to strike, relentlessly cleaving through every corner of Manhattan, destroying the symbiote oceans everywhere, but it did not reach Grendel. Thor never thought he couldn't kill this symbiote dragon; he just needed to wait for the right opportunity.

After battling the dragon for over a minute, Venom unleashed high-voltage bioelectricity from its hands, grabbed Grendel's wings, and tore them off. The repeated attacks with its electric claws caused what appeared to be considerable damage, but the black flames spewed out by Grendel were able to burn Venom, who had no resistance, causing it to howl in agony.

The pathetic Haki Venom was instantly knocked down onto the building, thankfully the real building was much sturdier than the cardboard building in the movie. Venom stood up, then checked the time, confirming that there was only about a minute left. It then roared at Grendel, and its body began to flow with bio-electricity that flickered with traces of Thor's power.

Thor, who had been slicing through waves of symbiotes across the land, laughed heartily. He then raised Mjolnir and poured endless lightning into Venom's body. In an instant, Venom's skin nearly boiled. Venom endured the pain, stood firm, and then crossed his arms. The massive torrent of divine lightning collided with the black flames spewed by Grendel. "This...this is just...this is just too abstract."

Jonah Jameson, who was reporting on this epic showdown, rubbed his hair, unable to maintain a serious expression. Looking at Grundle on the left and Venom on the right, he couldn't help but ask the viewers watching the live stream, "Is...is that Godzilla?"

No, this is Ultraman fighting monsters.

Gwen, who had been watching Jonah Jameson's live stream, couldn't help but sigh. She knew Peter liked tokusatsu, but she never expected him to do this on a global live stream; it was just too outrageous.

She was worried about Peter the whole time, but now it seems there was no need for it at all!

"Alright, Aunt May, Peter will be fine. Didn't he call this morning to let us know he was safe and sound, saying he was rescued by the Avengers?"

"But... sigh, what lab did that kid go to yesterday?"

Aunt May watched the live television broadcast with a worried expression. Uncle Ben and Gwen were by her side. Compared to Peter, Gwen was more worried about her father. Sheriff George was still in Manhattan, sticking to his post, and his current situation was unknown.

But it looks like the Avengers are close to winning.

"enough!"

The roar didn't come from Gnar, but from Strange, who had appeared in a panic. He hadn't joined the battle to keep a close eye on Grundle's condition using the Eye of Agamotto, lest it be killed instantly. Upon hearing this, Venom immediately withdrew its attack and charged at Grundle, opening its massive jaws and biting off the half-dead creature's head. It then rapidly tore at Grundle, swallowing it piece by piece. In about half a minute, Venom had completely devoured the symbiotic dragon, which was roughly its own size.

Then, as the Pym Particles shrank and returned to their original size, Venom reverted to its original form. Thor and Strange approached Venom, who had returned to its normal size, but Strange raised his hand, preventing Thor from getting closer.

"Almost there, Thor, almost there."

Venom let out an unconscious, beast-like howl, then the white spider icon on its chest turned red, just like the one on Naruto's armor, and a pair of huge wings made of symbiotes sprouted from its back, and its whole body began to deform irregularly.

"Spider-Man needs to suppress Knuckles' will at the very end for everything to be considered a success."
