Chapter 59 Blood Sacrifice Construction

Chapter 59 Blood Sacrifice Construction

After initial understanding and verification, the Britannia Convoy began to undertake some of the construction work on the Mirror Island and the foundation of the First Sacred Ring.

Because filling the seabed with terracotta alone is literally impossible. The amount of earthwork required would be unimaginable, far beyond what the Silver Gate could handle. Therefore, the initial plan for the First Holy Ring was to drain the seawater and raise the bottom to create a structure similar to a floating island.

However, after negotiations with the Britannian fleet, they discovered that the Britannian fleet could provide a very simple method to successfully fill the inner seabed after the first ring had closed at sea level.

Unlike the Silver Gate, Britannia's construction methods are far more... eerie.

They don't need any materials or messy building formulas.

It's quite simple. Because of the abundance of cheap blood sacrifices, Britannia's building formulas are often the same, except for certain special patents held by Worldwing and construction companies.

That means just stuffing people in.

Britannia's pristine white fleet spread its wings on the sea, and countless blood sacrifices rained down into the ocean. These chunks of flesh, their skin branded and inscribed with runes, fell layer upon layer into the sea, their blood-soaked bodies sinking into the endless depths of the ocean.

Their increasingly sensitive skin will feel the corrosive effects of ocean currents and the interference of unknown sounds from the deep sea. Moreover, thanks to the mind-orientation devices provided by Mandala Company, a portion of the emotional settings within their Brahmanical mindset will be activated. They will genuinely feel the pressure from the environment, their hormones and secretions will begin to increase normally, and they may even gradually revive various senses that have previously degenerated.

But this is not a blessing; on the contrary, it is meant to instill in them the deepest despair.

"The Sinful Building Law, currently the latest and most common building method in Britannia."

Standing on the shore, the naval captain looked calmly, with a hint of pride, at Charlemagne, who was barely able to speak beside him.

This is what gives Britannia a sense of pride that sets it far apart from other nations. This technology is practically taboo in other countries, almost impossible to operate normally and stably. However, through the joint development of several Worldwings, the Sinful Construction Method overcame several mystical hurdles and logical verification flaws, successfully becoming Britannia's most standard building module.

"By using the pain, despair, and other emotions of the sacrifices as basic components to forge a skeleton, they grow and spread by attaching flesh and blood. If no special mutations occur, they can grow into a standard building module in about three to five days. We call this efficiency. They can draw nutrients from ocean currents and underwater sources to replenish their flesh and blood. In extreme cases, they can even grow by simply basking in the sun."

"The flesh and bones that grow from these blood sacrifices are not particularly strong, and due to their mixed composition, they are difficult to recycle. However, they will quickly dissolve and collapse in the natural environment, forming normal soil and filler. Most architectural scenes can be filled using the sinful construction method."

"Of course, each has its advantages and disadvantages compared to the technology you currently possess. We don't need a lot of raw materials and labor costs to be wasted, but correspondingly, some aspects are relatively rough. But I believe these things are exactly what you need."

Looking at the Misty Islands leader, who was speechless with shock as he gazed at the seabed now covered in a layer of blood, the naval captain became even more convinced that his judgment was correct. Clearly, the Misty Islands had indeed been built according to Britannia's standard colonial procedures.

But these people don't even know what the standard building process in Britannia is.

In fact, when Li Ang first invited them to participate in the project, the naval colonel already felt something was off, and now he was even more certain of it.

Because of flawed reproductive technology in the Misty Islands, they are unable to efficiently produce blood sacrifices, or rather, they cannot circumvent the genetic locks set by the Mandala Corporation. Other worlds can, to varying degrees, circumvent population issues and rapidly replenish their populations through their own capabilities, but the Misty Islands cannot.

This also proves that although the Misty Islands may seem to possess capabilities comparable to World Wings, a fundamental and comprehensive gap still exists. They might wield power in the Misty Sea region that rivals World Wings, but once they expand overseas or engage in colonization, the people of the Misty Islands become utterly uncompetitive. Simply put, they lack manpower and population; where would they find the resources for such expansion?
With the Silver Gate defense system, the Great Beacon, and Leon himself, the naval captain wasn't surprised that their defense was flawless. But an attack was out of the question.

In other words, the people of the Misty Isles do not pose a significant threat to Britannia or the Worldwings.

This is for the best; the enemy that might cause problems has no ability to develop further.

Britannia had tolerated the nameless sea god for nearly a century, so of course they could accept Leon's reasonable toll.

Seeing Charlemagne still staring, mouth slightly agape, at the growing seabed of flesh and blood below, the naval captain smiled and explained with a light laugh:
“The First Holy Ring requires a large amount of material to fill it, and I think the Seventh Rune is more suitable for your needs. They will automatically stop growing and die after they cover the seabed and come into contact with the air. As the flesh and curse spread to a certain extent, they will be unable to withstand the pressure and perish on their own.”

"The entire process requires no oversight; the fleet only needs to monitor from above and sow the blood sacrifice seeds to cultivate the flesh and blood modules. For every million blood sacrifices produced, the error growth rate is fifteen to twenty. If sin or hatred arises, we will be responsible for cleaning it up and killing it. Regardless of the core product produced, it will be sent to the Silver Gate of the Misty Islands as a testament to our friendship. What do you think?"

"...Were all those you threw down blood sacrifices?"

"Yes of course."

Looking at Charlemagne, whose pupils had widened in shock, the naval captain said proudly:

"We have 8,400 blood sacrifices sown as the base, and we will sow about 1,000 to 2,000 more each day. We should see initial results in about a month. If we are satisfied with the production, we can finalize the subsequent production process. We never lack manpower."

"Literally speaking, we don't lack people."
