bow!

I once told a fellow reader that this book was very carefully prepared, and that's true. Learning from the mistakes of the previous two books, "Da Yu" only had a one-sentence outline at the end, which was very difficult to write. "Linxia" was better. It was a niche theme based on fictional history and didn't have cheat codes. I wrote over 5,000 words in the middle period, but the detailed outline wasn't very detailed at the end, so the quality declined in the middle and late stages, stopping at nearly 6,000 words. Fortunately, the storyline of "Linxia" is still quite complete.

The common point between these two books is that after the detailed outline of 600,000 to 700,000 words prepared at the beginning was used up and the three tricks were used up, the rest of the book was not so good.

This book was written after careful consideration and was made according to the standards of project design. Each volume is independently archived, from the volume background, volume main line, stage main line, to the realm division, skills, martial arts, force composition, the time for cultivation in each realm, the amount of resources consumed, and then to the character setting. Each character has an independent personality design, the growth and transformation of slightly more important supporting characters, the character arc, and finally the plot is listed according to each small realm division... The detailed outline of the first three volumes alone is 200,000 words.

It can be said to be extremely detailed, so detailed that I feel it is difficult to write it down. It is precisely because of the detailed preparation that it is like a child who gets a newly sharpened wooden sword and wants to chop every flower and plant he sees. Some details feel so hard to prepare that it would be a waste if they are not written down.

The advantage is that writing these details can make the world structure more realistic. The disadvantage is that some readers who pursue the plot may find it a bit long-winded, but in the long run, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages!
First, let me tell you, there's no need to worry about the quality of this book. I can assure you that, even just taking the first volume I'm currently writing as an example, the plots I've written before the book's release haven't even touched on even one-tenth of the excitement of this volume. Take, for example, the end of the first life of "Da Yu," and Fang Lin's farewell to his father when "Linxia" was released... Those emotional buildups to their climax haven't even been touched upon once!
The second point I want to make is that I also read books, but now I can find it increasingly difficult to finish reading any books. I read many books from beginning to end, but except for the protagonist, I can't remember any supporting characters.

I am not saying that such books are bad, such books can also achieve good results, but different people have different tastes. I personally think that such books are more like fast food, like KFC. The first bite is amazing, but you can't eat it after a few more bites. I prefer handmade, crispy, elastic and smooth knife-cut noodles. When put in a novel, the characters must be vivid and not stereotyped, the logic must be rigorous, and the IQ must not be lowered.

When writing about a character, you have to write about his mental journey and transformation process. Some experienced readers may find it long-winded, but it is like a lecture. It is impossible for the teacher to explain a certain point and then give you a look, saying that those who understand will understand, and those who don’t understand will be ignored.

On this point, I try to find a balance between the two, and make progress while writing books!

Well, there is nothing more to say. Finally, I will bow to everyone who has read this far. I will write slowly and try to bring you a good book.
