Chapter 210 Pregnancy Revealed
As night fell, Cersei donned a black robe and went to the Great Sept of Baelor, where the High Sparrow was praying by candlelight, his wrinkled face appearing particularly somber in the firelight.

“High Priest,” Cersei knelt slowly before him, her voice utterly devout, “I have something important to tell you. It concerns the sins committed by Margaery Tyrell…”

...

At the same time, several mansions in King's Landing were attacked by masked men.

Lancel Lannister was subdued in his sleep by a masked man and his mouth was gagged before he could even cry for help.

Osny Kate Black and his brother Osfrey had just left the ward when they were hooded, knocked unconscious, and taken away.

These people all have one thing in common.

They all had affairs with Cersei.

Under torture, the brothers Rancellor and Kate Black confessed to their affair with Cersei. Their confessions were carefully recorded, signed, and sealed, becoming Margaery's trump card.

...

The Iron Throne Hall, the Grand Council.

The nobles of Westeros gathered for an unprecedented grand council, where Cersei was to announce a scandal that would shock the kingdom.

The Iron Throne remained empty; King Joffrey was deemed unfit to participate in such a trial. Cersei sat in the Queen Mother's seat, her expression solemn.

Beneath the throne, representatives of Westeros's most powerful families stood on either side.

The Stokwer, Setiga, and Losby families in the Royal Territory, the Marbran, Kreeher, Farman, and Swiffer families in the Westerlands, and the Redwyn, Hightower, and Okohet families in the Reach, along with some minor lord families.

In the middle are Grand Maester Paisell, the High Sparrow, and Jaime Lannister, captain of the Kingsguard.

Littlefinger stood in the corner with Sansa, a sly smile on his face. He was the one who provided the information about Lancel and his companions' whereabouts.

Margaret, as the one being judged, stood among the nobles, still beautiful, elegant, and charming.

"My lords," Cersei's voice echoed through the hall, "I have gathered you here today to reveal a shameful truth. Margaery Tyrell has betrayed her sacred vows and has had an improper relationship with her brother!"

A murmur suddenly broke out in the hall.

Everyone had gotten some information from various channels, but nothing was clear. No one expected the Queen to speak so explosively; it was a national disgrace!
Loras and Brienne, who had accompanied Margaery, glared at Cersei and gripped their sword hilts.

“And,” Cersei emphasized, “she’s pregnant! That’s proof of her promiscuity!”

These words were like a boulder thrown into water, once again stirring up a huge uproar!
In the doctrine of the Seven Gods, tunggum is an unforgivable crime, and even as a queen, she had never committed such a crime in the entire country for hundreds of years!
The High Sparrow raised his hand and shouted, "Quiet! Let the person in charge speak!"

As the commotion subsided, Margaret raised her chin and glanced around. Then, calmly, she said, "Her Majesty the Queen Mother's accusations are baseless. I have never betrayed my oath!"

Cersei sneered, "Liar! I have witnesses!"

She turned to Dania in the corner of the hall and nodded smugly. Dania parted the crowd, meeting everyone's gaze, and slowly walked forward.

Loras and Brienne looked at Dania with eyes full of anger and disbelief.

“My lords,” Dania said calmly, “I can testify that Lady Margaret is indeed pregnant!”

The commotion in the hall reached its peak instantly. Cersei gestured for her to continue, but her next words stunned everyone:

"The child in Lady Margaery's womb is of Lord Renly Baratheon's blood!"

A deathly silence fell, and then the atmosphere in the hall changed dramatically.

Renly was Margaret's legal husband. Although there were many rumors that he was gay, who would say that someone who likes ale can't drink red wine?
This statement is indeed irrefutable.

Even if outsiders don't know whether they consummated their marriage, they cannot prove that the child is not Renly's.

The nobles who had been waiting to see Margaery make a fool of herself began to look at Cersei with suspicion and question her motives.

Cersei's face turned ashen; she nearly fainted from rage. She couldn't believe that Dania would dare betray her!

Margaret raised her head, a sly glint in her doe-like eyes. "Your Majesty the Empress Dowager is so eager to frame me, is there some unspeakable secret?"

She waved her hand, and the guards escorted the three people into the hall. When Cersei saw the newcomers, her face turned ashen.

Lancel Lannister, Osny Kate Black, and Osfrey Kate Black, her lovers.

When Jaime saw Cersei's expression, he immediately understood everything. He had carried her to the mortal realm and lived with her for twenty-eight years, so how could he be mistaken?
He turned to Lancel, his eyes blazing with fury. This cousin of his dared to touch Cersei! And not just Lancel, but the Kate Black brothers too!
He remembered Tyrion's disdain when he told him the truth, but now that the facts were in front of him, he felt as if a hole had been punched in his chest.

"Take them down!" Cersei screamed hysterically. "These people are traitors!"

The Imperial Guards and Rainbow Guards drew their swords simultaneously, and a fierce battle was about to break out!
Jaime felt as if something had been ripped out of his heart. He was the captain of the Kingsguard and was supposed to protect the royal family.

But is this woman still worth protecting? She betrayed him, betrayed her own promise, and now she's forcing him to protect her lies.

“Jaime!” Cersei screamed, “What are you waiting for?”

Jaime slowly drew his longsword, his movements slow and hesitant. His green eyes looked at Cersei, and there was love, hate, disappointment, and deep pain in them.

After a brief stalemate, the other Imperial Guards and Rainbow Guards began to fight each other! The sound of clashing steel echoed in the hall, and sparks flew everywhere!

Chaos erupted in the hall as nobles and lords scattered in all directions, turning the Iron Throne Hall into a battlefield!
Loras Tyrell brandished his longsword, slashing at the nearest Kingsguard. The guard parried with his sword, creating a loud thud.

Brienne was even more valiant, sweeping her greatsword across and forcing the two Iron Guards to retreat repeatedly.

Just as the melee was about to spiral out of control, "Stop!" The High Sparrow's voice wasn't loud, but it carried an undeniable authority. "No violence is permitted in the sacred hall!"

"Stop it all!"

James shouted and finally lowered his sword.

He looked at Cersei, his eyes filled with barely concealed pain. Once, he had been willing to give up everything for her, including honor and life. But now, he only wanted to turn away and leave this woman who was a liar.

The fighting stopped, after all, Jaime was the Kingsguard's direct superior, but the tense atmosphere in the hall remained. Everyone waited to see what would happen next.

Cersei glared at the High Sparrow through gritted teeth, but he seemed oblivious.

"Make them tell the truth!"
