Game of Thrones: I am Dothraki, not a barbarian
Chapter 193 Chief Husband Arya
Chapter 193 Centurion Arya
Act III: Robb's Love.
Frey and Robb were betrothed, but Robb conquered Cliffrock and married Janie Westerling instead.
From then on, Robb's army suffered repeated defeats, Karstark was killed in battle, and the Northern army was forced back to the Riverlands by the Western army.
Robb Stark sent Theon Greyjoy, the adopted son of House Stark, to the Iron Islands for help. As a result, Winterfell was captured by Theon with a dozen soldiers, who then went on a killing spree. Bran Stark was forced to flee.
Act IV: Tywin plots against Bolton.
The stage then transformed into Harrenhalle, a sinister and terrifying place. The actor playing Tywin Lannister sat in a high-backed chair, while Roose Bolton knelt before him.
“I can give you the North,” Tywin said. “The Stark era is over. You just need to deliver the final blow to Robb at the right time!”
Bolton nodded in agreement. They shook hands as a pledge, and the audience booed.
The audience hated the traitor, and Arya, seeing this, couldn't help but feel anxious.
She didn't know if this had happened and needed to find Laharo to find out, but she also really wanted to know what would happen next, so she was caught in a dilemma and became restless.
Act V: Tywin's Alliance with Frey. The scene shifts to the Twins. Walder Frey the Elder sits in his seat, surrounded by his sons. Tywin's messenger brings news.
"The Riverlands are yours," the messenger said. "You can become the masters of this land by replacing the Tully family. As long as you..."
A greedy glint flashed in old Frey's eyes.
“I understand,” he said. “Robb Stark has betrayed our engagement, and now it’s time for him to pay the price!”
Arya scratched her head, her heart pounding faster and faster; she had no idea what was going to happen next.
Act VI begins.
The Twins' main hall, the wedding venue. Ribbons and flowers adorned the entire hall, and music played—"The Rainy Season of Castamere." Robb sat with his pregnant wife in the guest section, Caitlin beside him.
They all had smiles on their faces, completely unaware of the approaching danger.
The music grew louder and louder, then suddenly changed pitch.
The actors pulled off their masks, revealing ferocious expressions. Arrows rained down from all directions; Robb fell, Edmure fell, and Caitlin fell too.
Many actors worked together to pull up a red cloth the size of the stage and spread it on the ground, symbolizing blood everywhere. Although it was fake, it still looked shocking.
The audience was completely silent, the air thick with shock and fear, and Arya's tears flowed like a burst dam.
She witnessed Robb's death, her mother's death, and the downfall of House Stark.
The scene was so realistic that the first half of the third act was based on real events, but the remaining three and a half acts made her feel that it wasn't a drama, but rather the future that was about to happen!
She desperately wanted to go home and wanted to warn Robb to be careful of those two treacherous villains, Roose Bolton and Ward Frey!
After the performance, the audience slowly dispersed.
Most people remained silent, clearly deeply shocked by the tragedy.
The moon hung high in the sky. She followed Vera and Garland back to the governor's mansion, her mind filled with Robb's death on the stage and her mother Caitlin's despair. Her chest felt as if a boulder was blocking it.
No, she couldn't wait any longer.
Her feet seemed to have a mind of their own, heading straight for Rahalo's bedchamber. Two warriors stood at the door; they recognized her and did not stop her.
Rahalo heard footsteps and looked up. "Nana? It's so late, is something wrong?"
Arya stood at the door, clenching her small fists, her heart pounding. "Commander, I have a question for you."
"What's the problem?" Rahalo gestured for her to sit down.
Arya didn't sit down, but walked to the table and stared into Rahallo's eyes. "Why did you write the play 'The Fall of House Stark'?"
Who can resist being a plagiarist for once?
Rahalo blinked, but he couldn't tell her that. "Because I've loved theatrical writing since I was a child." He looked up at a 45-degree angle. "I'm going to write the story of Westeros into novels. Hmm, I might write five first, and then one more before I die, or maybe I won't write any at all." Arya shook her head frantically, her voice trembling. "No! You're lying! Those things are too detailed, too real, like you saw them with your own eyes!"
Rahalo leaned back in his chair, sizing her up. "What do you think?"
“I think you heard a wizard predict the future.” Arya took a deep breath. “You know those things really will happen.”
Rahalo didn't speak, he just looked at her quietly.
Arya's fingers dug deeply into her palms. She remained silent for a long while. "I have something to tell you. Something very important."
"I'm listening."
She closed her eyes, remembering her father's face, the afternoon Robb taught her archery, and Bran's laughter as he climbed the walls. Then she opened her eyes, her heart filled with only resolve.
“My name is not Nana,” she said resolutely. “My name is Arya Stark. I am the daughter of Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell, and the sister of Robb Stark, the Young Wolf.”
Lahalo's expression remained unchanged, which made Arya even more uneasy.
She thought he would be shocked, angry, or do something. But he just nodded casually, showing no surprise whatsoever.
"You...you're not surprised?"
“No,” Rajalo said, “I knew it.”
"If you want to kill me, then do it!" Arya gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and wore an expression of heroic sacrifice.
"Why would I kill you?" Rahalo chuckled.
"Because you fought against my father?"
“That’s between me and your father.” Rahalo stood up and walked to the window. “Besides, your father is dead. I know he was a good man and a warrior. Although I was his enemy, I respected him.”
Arya was at a loss for words.
She had prepared countless excuses and anticipated all sorts of reactions from Lahallo, but his calmness truly exceeded her expectations.
"Why did you confess to me?" Rahalo asked.
"I want to be a centurion!" Arya shouted, mustering her courage. "I want to go back to Westeros, help Robb, and stop those traitors!"
Lajalo nodded. "I remember my promise. I can give you the Thousand-Man Squad. But I have one condition."
"What conditions?"
“I once said that you had to defeat my guardsmen to become a centurion.” A curious glint flashed in Rahalo’s eyes as he asked, “How did you kill Muro?”
Arya had expected Rahallo to make her kneel and swear eternal allegiance to him, or to ensure that the North would never be Rahallo's enemy.
But no, nothing at all. He didn't make any demands; he simply repeated what he had said before.
“I…I can possess wild beasts,” she whispered. “I was possessing a ghost leopard.”
"As expected! An alien!"
"You knew all along?"
“I guessed,” Rajalo said. “Let me see your leopard during the duel.”
Arya's heart raced. "Now?"
"Now, I suggest you demonstrate your skills in front of the thousand-man squad. Only then will they be truly convinced and obey your orders."
