Game of Thrones: I am Dothraki, not a barbarian
Chapter 179 White-Haired Astan
Chapter 179 White-Haired Astan
Osmond Kate Black's expression changed drastically, a series of emotions flashing across his face from surprise to fear to anger.
"You damn..."
He was about to draw his sword when, at that moment, Bronn swiftly stepped between the two and slapped Osmond on the back of the head with a sharp crack.
"You fucking want to die, and I don't want to die with you!"
He then turned to Lazar and said with a forced smile, "He's a little sensitive to your jokes, please don't mind."
Li Le looked at Osmond with a puzzled expression and said in a low voice, "It was just a dirty joke, your reaction is way too much."
"Shut up!" Osmon's face turned bright red, and a flash of fear crossed his eyes.
He had no idea that Lahallo was a fan of the original work.
This is something that can be done but not talked about. I never expected that even the Dothraki would know about it. If it gets to Jaime's ears, he'll be dead!
Rahalo laughed heartily, gesturing for Lazar to return, then turned to Polon, "What do you want with this trash?"
Bronn licked his lips, thought for a moment, and decided to tell the truth.
“We are on the orders of Lord Jaime Lannister to hunt down the Blood Troupe. They killed Princess Myrcella and stole her dowry.”
Laharo pointed to the three people hanging upside down in the tree: "I remember, they were Lord Tywin's dogs, who did all the dirty work, right? How did they end up killing their owner?"
"This……"
Bronn was speechless for a moment. He couldn't very well say that Cersei had been too clever for her own good and had intended to use them to wreak havoc on the Reach, but ended up killing her own daughter.
"These bastards have betrayed us..."
That's the only explanation for Polon.
He was unaware that his honesty had saved their lives, and that if he had dared to lie, Lahalo would have killed them without hesitation.
Rahalo waved his hand, "These people are yours."
Polon was stunned, not expecting the Dothraki to be so agreeable. After a moment, he cautiously asked, "Then, what about the gold?"
As soon as he spoke, the temperature around him seemed to drop several degrees, and all the Dothraki looked at him as if he were a fool.
Rahalo laughed, "Trying to push your luck?"
Bronn gave an awkward laugh: "Of course, of course, we've never seen any gold!"
If it weren't for the fact that Myrcella was truly pitiful, the Blood Troupe was so despicable, and the fact that killing children was an outrageous act, he wouldn't have given Jaime this chance for revenge.
So he ordered the warriors to pack up the gold chests and prepare to leave.
Before leaving, he told Bronn, "Tell Jaime Lannister that I won't be so friendly next time we meet."
The Dothraki army departed in a grand procession, leaving only the Kingsguard standing there, stunned and bewildered.
"I thought we were doomed," Li Le sighed deeply, muttering, "Why did they just leave like that?"
“Who knows?” Bronn wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. “Maybe they’re in a good mood today, or maybe we’re just lucky.”
"Damn Dothraki, why are you spreading rumors and slandering me?" Osmond was still shaken.
"Shut up," Bronn rolled his eyes. "Tighten your belt from now on, or if Lord Jaime hears about it, don't say I didn't warn you!"
As they spoke, they untied the men from the tree. Bronn sneered, "Just come back to King's Landing with us! I have no idea what kind of torture the Lannisters will come up with to torture you. Tsk tsk."
Wag closed his eyes in despair, drool dripping down his face. He even regretted not just letting himself be killed!
...
Near Parmenters in the Stormlands, the Kingsguard lies in sight, King's Landing is two hundred miles to the west, and Storm's End is fifty miles to the south. On the grey-blue sea, Rahallo's fleet rests silently, sails billowing, ready to embark on its return journey.
The warriors carried the gold chests in twos and threes, their laughter and war songs rising and falling.
This windfall delighted everyone; a full two million gold coins meant that a trip to King's Landing was no longer an option.
Warriors who had been to Westeros recounted their past experiences. When they last left Westeros, they were in a rented flatboat, small, dilapidated, and extremely bumpy.
In the blink of an eye, under Kao's leadership, they even had warships, roaming freely across the vast world as if in a dream!
"Kao!" the lookout shouted from the watchtower, "Someone's coming!"
All eyes turned to the shore, and after a moment, a solitary figure came into view.
The man was tall and old, with gray hair, riding on an equally gray old horse, his blue eyes radiating sadness.
Most shockingly, seven or eight Dothraki heads were hanging on either side of his saddle, their blood not yet completely dried, leaving a trail of blood on the way he came.
The Dothraki fell silent instantly, their movements of carrying the gold chests abruptly halted, all staring in astonishment at the uninvited guest.
The old knight stopped a hundred paces from the shore, his hand on his sword hilt, his back ramrod straight. His azure eyes, sharp as a hawk's, scanned the entire Dothraki army, finally settling on Rahalo.
"Rahalo, the Whip of the Seven Gods! Dare to fight me, White-Haired Astan!" The old knight's booming voice echoed through the valley, causing pebbles to tumble down.
The Dothraki warriors looked at each other, then burst into laughter.
Lahalo guessed who the person was.
Barristan Selmi, the “Fearless”.
He can be considered the most dedicated and respectable knight in the Seven Kingdoms, and the one most deserving of the title of Kingsguard Knight. In the hearts of the Westeros people, he is simply a legend.
In the Battle of the Nine Copper Coins, he single-handedly charged into the ranks of the Golden Company members and successfully killed the last Blackfyre, "Violent" Marius, in a one-on-one battle, ending the rebellion of those who coveted the Blackfyre throne.
During the rebellion in Duskwood, when King Iris II was taken hostage, it was he who disguised himself as a beggar, assassinated the guards on the city wall alone, found his way to the dungeon, and rescued the king.
He attended the Harrenhal Tournament, fell in love with Miss Ashara Dayne on the spot, and decided to win the jousting contest to crown her "Queen of Love and Beauty".
Unfortunately, he was too exhausted after defeating the Bronze Yorn and Arthur Dayne the Sword of the Morning, and lost to Prince Rhaegar, who then gave the Crown of Love and Beauty to Lyanna Stark, leading to the War of the Usurper.
Rahalo looked him over with interest, a hint of admiration flashing in his eyes.
All the soldiers looked at Khao, eager to try and hoping that he would choose them to fight!
"My blood!" Zheko was already itching to fight. "Let me take this arrogant old man on!"
“Go!” Rahalo nodded in agreement.
A sinister smile crept across Dzeko's lips as he mounted his horse, drew his scimitar, spurred it, and charged toward Barristan, raising clouds of dust with each step.
Barristan remained motionless, like a statue.
When Zheko got close, he suddenly drew his longsword, the blade of which was like a silver lightning bolt. With a light kick to the horse's belly, the warhorse shot out like an arrow!
The two riders clashed, their swords clashed, and sparks flew!
Although Barristan was old, his lifetime of combat experience made every move extremely precise. Zheko slashed at the old knight's chest with his scimitar, but it was easily deflected by the blade. He then swung his sword back, prompting Zheko to raise his own to parry.
"it is good!"
The two men praised each other at the same time, and the two horses passed each other.
