"Kara, you."

Seeing Karana's aggressive actions, Isaac couldn't help but widen his eyes. He was about to say something to persuade her, but before he could finish speaking, Karana rushed over, pushed Zatana away, grabbed Isaac's collar, and pressed her lips against his.

Unlike Zatana's gentle and tender kiss, Kara's kiss was forceful and somewhat clumsy, as if it were filled with anger, or as if it were declaring something.

Isaac, still reeling from Zatana's kiss, was forcibly kissed by Kara again. He was now completely frozen in place, his hands dangling in the air, unsure of what to do with them.

About a minute later, Kara released Isaac's collar, gently wiped her lips, and sat back in her original seat. The cabin fell into an unusual silence, with the slightly rapid breathing of the three people clearly audible.

Zatana, sitting next to Isaac, stared at Kara with a dangerous glint in her eyes. Kara, on the other hand, raised her chin slightly in a defiant manner. Isaac, caught between the two, felt as if he were prey being watched by two lionesses, his whole body enveloped in an ominous aura.

"We're almost at our stop, we should get off!"

Under the inexplicable premonition of danger, and for his own safety, Isaac glanced out the window briefly before speaking in a deep voice, mimicking the tone of an old bat.

The deep voice broke the tense atmosphere and successfully calmed Zatana and Kara down. They exchanged a glance, let out a soft hum, and then fell silent.

The Ferris wheel slowly turned, and the remaining few minutes became the longest time of Isaac's life so far. Kara, who had returned to her original seat, reached out to straighten her clothes, while Zatana, who was sitting next to Isaac, played with her fingernails.

When Isaac and his crew's cockpit arrived at the platform, the crew opened the cockpit door, and Isaac practically jumped out, as if some enemy was chasing him.

After leaving the Ferris wheel area, Isaac walked ahead alone, while Zatana and Kara followed at a distance, an atmosphere of suffocating silence filling the three of them.

"I'm going to the restroom now."

Just then, Kara, who had been walking alongside Zatana, suddenly stopped. After saying something, she left quickly without waiting for Isaac's response.

"Aren't you going to chase her?"

Watching Kara's figure gradually disappear into the crowd, Zatana turned her head to look at her childhood friend who had somehow walked up to her side.

"I'm not a pervert. She was just going to the bathroom, why would I chase after her! So, Zatana, why did you do that just now?"

Isaac rubbed his aching temples, muttered a somewhat helpless complaint, and then became a little more serious before asking about what had just happened.

"Because I like you! And I know you like me too. We grew up together, and I know you better than you do."

Zatana completely forgot all the words she had prepared in her mind after hearing Isaac's words. She looked directly into Isaac's eyes with bright eyes, and although her voice was soft, it sounded unusually firm.

"But I know you like Kara too, right?"

Just as Isaac opened his mouth to say something, Zatana spoke first, silencing him. A bitter expression appeared on her face. Faced with Zatana's words, Isaac lowered his head slightly. He couldn't refute her; what Zatana said truly reflected his current feelings. He did indeed have special feelings for both girls.

Zatana was his childhood friend, and the familiar yet unfamiliar feeling they had after their reunion made his heart flutter. Kara, on the other hand, was his classmate of many years, and her sweet smile and kind, lively personality deeply attracted Isaac.

"Let's talk about this later. Let's find Kara first."

After a long silence, Isaac finally raised his head and spoke in his usual gentle tone. He ultimately chose to leave the question unanswered because he hadn't yet figured out what to do.

Following the direction Kara had left, Isaac and Zatana arrived at the nearest public restroom. They stood there quietly for more than ten minutes before Kara finally emerged from the restroom.

"I should probably go home now; I still have some homework to finish."

Kara walked straight up to Isaac and Zatana and spoke in a calm voice. Although her face appeared normal, her slightly reddened eyes proved that she was not at peace with herself.

"Kara."

"Really, it's okay. You and Zatana can continue playing."

Seeing Kara in this state, Isaac was about to say something when she interrupted him. He forced a very awkward smile, glanced at Zatana with complicated eyes, and his voice was tinged with bitterness and sadness.

Like Isaac, Kara is also unsure of what to do, so she chooses to escape and deceive herself, believing that if she leaves now, she won't have to worry about this for the time being.

"I will send you back."

Isaac frowned slightly, looked at Kara who was not as usual, let out a soft breath, and still spoke.

"No need, Alex will pick me up. See you at school tomorrow."

After gently waving her hand to decline Isaac's offer, Kara said goodbye and then turned and left without looking back. This time, she walked even faster, and in the blink of an eye, she had disappeared into the vast crowd.

"I messed up, didn't I?"

Looking in the direction Kara had left, Zatana, standing beside Isaac, couldn't help but sigh softly, her expression quite complicated.

No, it's my problem.

Suppressing the frustration and helplessness in his heart, Isaac remained silent for a while before shaking his head again and denying Zatana's words. He then took the blame back on himself, since it was indeed all because of him.
