"The internet connection is wrong!?"

Subconsciously, she wanted to call out the name of the companion who had saved her life, but Atomic Girl instantly realized something was wrong. The sound she had just heard did not seem to be the sound of mechanical metal colliding and rubbing against the ground, but rather like leather shoes.

The moment she realized this, Atomic Girl tensed up again, flipped herself up, and looked in the direction from which the shadow was being cast.

"Desmeus!? No, you're Lex Luthor!"

Upon seeing Lex's very familiar face, Atomic's first thought was that some alchemist had violated the Crime Syndicate's agreement and secretly sent another time-space transfer device into the country.

But when she noticed Lex's calm yet slightly mocking gaze, she realized that the person in front of her was not the guy she knew, but his counterpart in this universe.

It was only at this point that Atomic Girl finally realized that she had most likely been tricked. The guy who sent the message through the encrypted channel was not Grid, but the Lex Corki in front of her.

“Oh, you know me, Desmeus, the Mad Intelligence, is that the name of my counterpart? Although you know my name, I still need to introduce myself. I am Lex Luthor, the world’s most outstanding genius.”

Having heard the information revealed by Atom, Lex became slightly interested and wanted to know what he would look like in a parallel universe. He squatted down, looked down at Atom, and asked with a smile.

For Lex, the Atom, who posed no threat to him whatsoever, was a valuable source of information for understanding other universes, so he didn't mind spending a little time chatting with her.

"How did you gain access to our encrypted channel? And where is Grid?"

Ignoring Lex's self-introduction, Atomic Girl quickly scanned her surroundings, trying to find her ally. However, after looking around and not finding the mechanical figure, her heart sank, and she could only look at Lex with her last hope.

"Grid? It seems you've misunderstood something. You don't actually think the person who texted you just now was your teammate, do you?"

Seeing the hopeful look in Atomic Girl's eyes, Lex, with his genius mind, thought for a moment and could roughly guess what she was thinking, and immediately found it quite amusing.

But based on the information revealed by this fool, Lex roughly knew who the guy the old bat had captured was. However, if the guys in the other universe were all like this, there would be no need for the Justice League or the Illuminati; he could take care of them himself.

"What a bunch of idiots. Did you really think your infiltration was flawless? I detected the spacetime fluctuations you caused when you teleported the moment you first arrived in this world. As for the grid you mentioned, it should have already fallen into the hands of that bat."

“I was planning to get some information out of you, but given the current situation, it seems completely unnecessary. I'll leave it to you, Mercy. Don't make a mess of my office.”

The more Lex thought about it, the more he felt that the guy in front of him, or even their whole team, were a bunch of idiots, and that he had wasted his time and energy on this whole thing.

After lightly patting his trouser leg, Lex stood up again, looking rather bored. He glanced at his secretary beside him and then turned and walked back to his desk.

"Wait, I still have a use. I can provide you with intelligence about the criminal syndicate. I can act as your spy!"

Seeing Lex's actions, Atomic Girl suddenly seemed to realize something and quickly spoke up, trying to prove to Lex that she still had value.

Lex seemed not to hear Atom's pleas, returning to his desk and turning back to gaze at Metropolis through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Meanwhile, his silent secretary, Mercy, bent down, gently picked up the palm-sized Atom, and led her towards the office door.

That guy has been taken care of.

Hearing the sound of the office door opening and closing, Lex pondered for a moment before taking out his special communicator and sending a text message to someone.

After Batman and his two companions restarted the Watchtower's gravity system and restored its power, the Watchtower no longer needed Superman's support. Instead, under the control of its internal system, it automatically flew back to its original location.

Batman, now back in the Watchtower, went straight to Grid, who was physically disabled and lying dead on the ground. After working on him for a while, he retrieved a Mother Box that was of utmost importance to Cyborg.

"Lantern Man, you take Cyborg to Red Star Labs to find his father. Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter, you two are responsible for escorting them."

Batman walked back to Green Lantern, who was maintaining Cyborg's life support and protecting his last breath. He stared at Cyborg for a long time before speaking in a deep voice and handing the Mother Box to Wonder Woman.

"I understand. Let's set off quickly. However, given Cyborg's current condition, we can only fly there directly to avoid any accidents when using the sonic boom."

Faced with the life-or-death matter of his comrades, Green Lantern became much more composed. Instead of joking around as usual, he pondered for a moment before speaking cautiously and calmly.

"Okay, I'll open the launch bay door for you. You can use the Batplane to leave."

After hearing Green Lantern's words, Batman frowned, but quickly made arrangements. He remembered that he had placed several large Batplanes in the Watchtower, which could come in handy at this time.

"Batman, what's our next move with this guy?"

After watching Batman, carrying Green Lantern and the others, head towards Earth, Superman turned to look at Batman standing beside him and couldn't help but ask a question.

"He should have intelligence data from another universe."

Faced with his best partner's question, Batman turned and walked toward the mesh-like mechanical body, answering his question in his standard Batman voice.

"Okay, I'll head back now. Feel free to contact me anytime if anything comes up."

When Superman asked the question, he already knew what Batman's answer would be, so he wasn't surprised when he heard it. He just smiled and shrugged helplessly.
